Boxing star Danny "Swift" Garcia is looking to end his in-ring career on the highest note ... telling TMZ Sports he wants a knockout in his farewell fight.
Garcia -- a 37-4 super welterweight -- is hanging up his boxing gloves after his October 18th bout against Daniel Gonzalez (22-4) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Since it's his last hoorah, some might think Garcia will take it easy and ride off into the sunset ... but he insists the scratches and bruises from sparring prove otherwise. In fact, he's gunning for his 22nd career knockout.

El Gallo shared the news during an appearance on the "DOUBL3 COVERAGE" podcast with N3on & Mystic Zach ... saying while his brother Logan's exhibition scrap with Floyd Mayweather didn't have a winner, this fight will -- potentially in more than one way.
"So if someone knocks the other one out, they're gonna get a big, big bonus," Paul said.

Former world champion boxer Ricky Hatton is believed to have died by suicide, according to a provisional cause of death delivered at a coroner's inquest in Manchester, England, The Guardian reports.
Alison Mutch, the senior coroner for Manchester South, stated Hatton's cause of death was hanging, reports ESPN.

Chuck Zito, Gatti's former bodyguard (and actor and stuntman), broke the shocking news on social media Wednesday morning ... announcing the teen's tragic death.

Cops say Terence Crawford's "high rate of speed" was what sparked his now-viral incident with police officers in Nebraska over the weekend.
According to Omaha Police Department documents TMZ Sports has obtained, Crawford allegedly blew by a cop in his blue, four-door sedan at around 1:27 AM on Sunday.
