Robert Carradine's death has been officially ruled a suicide, and he took his own life by hanging ... according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

The actor's manner of death is listed as suicide and the cause of death is sequelae of anoxic brain injury and hanging. In other words, he died from a lack of oxygen to the brain. Page Six was first to report the details.

We learned earlier today Robert died in a hospital in L.A. ... and these details arrive just days after his family announced his death by suicide Monday. They revealed he'd been battling bipolar depression for decades prior to his death.

Lil Jon's son's cause of death has been revealed as an accidental drowning.

Georgia's Fulton County Medical Examiner determined Nathan Smith -- whose stage name was DJ Young Slade -- died from "drowning in the setting of psilocybin use," the medical examiner's office told TMZ. The manner was ruled as an accident.

Psilocybin is a hallucinogenic compound found in mushrooms, and the autopsy found it in Smith's blood.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner revealed Robert's place of death in new documents obtained by TMZ ... but the docs don't include a cause or manner of death.

Robert died Monday, and his family said he took his own life after battling bipolar disorder for two decades.

Bobby J. Brown's Death Video Shows Barn Blaze That Killed 'The Wire' Star

TMZ has obtained intense footage of the barn fire that killed "The Wire" actor Bobby J. Brown this week ... and it shows the large structure covered in thick smoke.

Check out the clip ... firefighters are working hard to put out the blaze that erupted on the 50-by-100-foot barn in Chaptico, Maryland. You can still see flames ripping through the structure under the cloud of smoke ... and the roof is completely gone. A photo from the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal further highlights the damage from the ground.

We also obtained frightening dispatch audio that confirmed the barn was fully ablaze with a male trapped inside, after he tried to start an old Cadillac. Once the fire was under control, firefighters located Bobby inside ... but it was too late.

Katherine Short MIA for 24 Hours before death ... 'Note' Found at Home

Martin Short’s daughter Katherine was found behind a locked door and with a “note” nearby, TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Katherine’s friend was the one who called police after she hadn’t "been heard from in 24 hours.”

As we previously reported ... Katherine died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Monday at her Los Angeles home. Sources tell us a “note” was found nearby ... along with a gun.

Eric Dane was celebrated Thursday evening by the TV show that launched his acting career -- "Grey's Anatomy" -- and it was picture-perfect!

Here's what happened ... at the end of Thursday night's episode, the ABC hospital drama aired a 60-second reel of montage images harkening back to Dane as the hunky character, Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan. "McSteamy" was a fan fave for 7 seasons as he navigated through the pitfalls of his complex relationships and high-pressure medical job.    

Accompanying the montage clip was a soundtrack of a cover song, "Chasing Cars," by Tommee Profitt and Fleurie, which, you may recall, was also part of a montage commemorating the show broadcasting its 400th episode in 2022.

Mary Cosby Moving Forward With 'RHOSLC' Filming After Son's Death

Mary Cosby is planning to move forward with the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" ... despite the sudden death of her son ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to production tell TMZ ... while some assumed Mary might step away when cameras go up for Season 7 after losing her son, Robert Cosby Jr., that's not the case as of now. We're told the decision to continue filming is entirely hers.

We're told Mary sees returning to work as a way to maintain some structure during an incredibly painful time as she leans heavily on her faith and inner circle. Our sources say Mary will participate in filming at whatever pace she feels is right ... and there's zero pressure.

'The Wire' Star Bobby J. Brown Dead at 62

Bobby J. Brown -- who played Officer Bobby Brown on the hit HBO series "The Wire" -- has died after being caught in a barn fire, TMZ has learned.

Brown's daughter tells TMZ her father died Tuesday of smoke inhalation, so they believe he did not suffer from the severe burns he incurred from the terrible blaze.

The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed to TMZ ... Brown's cause of death was ruled diffuse thermal injury and smoke inhalation. We're told the manner of death was determined to be an accident.

The eldest daughter of Martin Short and Nancy Dolman filed to change her name back in 2012 from "Katherine Elizabeth Short" to "Katherine Elizabeth Hartley" ... a judge granted the change in early 2013.

She explains her reasoning in the document ... writing, "My father is a public figure. I am a psychiatric social worker. I am concerned about potential harassment from future patients resulting from my association with my father.”

Boxing star Ruben Castillo -- who fought in four world championship bouts -- passed away after a battle with cancer.

He was 68.

Castillo -- famously known as the Conquistador -- died on Wednesday in Beaumont, California, and was surrounded by his loved ones. After the sad news, tributes flooded social media honoring the featherweight fighter, including a video message from WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.

Robert died Monday in Utah ... the cause of death is unclear, but police responded to a possible overdose, and it turned into a death investigation upon arrival.

Police in Salt Lake City tell us they responded Monday night to a call for a "full arrest/medical emergency" for a 23-year-old male. We're told fire and paramedics were dispatched.

Here's the deal ... the funeral for Shirley -- also known as activist and founder of Beauty 2 The Streetz, "Ms. Shirley" -- took place Monday. After pics were posted to social media, comments began popping up that a family member got unceremoniously bounced. Naturally, it was assumed to be a cold-hearted move ... and people wanted an explanation.

Danielle Raines, Shirley's daughter, tells TMZ … a family member was asked to leave the service ... but the reason is the person has mental health issues -- and they were not on the list for the private service. They showed up anyway, and a scene ensued.
