2) Gail Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Is the divorce between Rick Fox and Vanessa Williams final, meaning court papers exist to prove closure, or is the divorce still pending as the June 2006 Ebony magazine stated? What state did the divorce occur, if it occurred?
The divorce proceedings between retired Laker Rick Fox and singer/actress Vanessa Williams are in limbo, therefore, they are technically still married. Nothing has been filed regarding this case since April 1, 2005 classifying the status as an unknown disposition. Rosie O'Donnell will make her latest daytime emergence on ABC's 'The View' in September, replacing host Meredith Vieira. The official April 28th announcement was the latest addition to the morning shake up of events: Katie Couric departed 'The Today Show,' while Meredith has officially said her good-byes on 'The View.' Jessica to Nick -- You Don't Have the Stomach to Sue

Jessica Simpson has offered Nick Lachey what is an "insulting" property settlement offer, banking on the assumption that Lachey does not want to press the matter in court.
Multiple sources connected with the former couple tell TMZ that Simpson has offered Lachey less than $1.5 million to settle the division of property. Under California law, Lachey would be entitled to half of what the couple earned during their marriage. The Associated Press reports that in 2004 alone, Simpson raked in $30 million.

The filing shows the couple had a prenuptial agreement and Eminem is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their daughter.
Earlier this month, Kim filed a counter complaint seeking joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, child support, payment of legal fees and payment for mortgage, insurance and utilities for her Michigan home. Although in the past Kim has been a source of lyrical inspiration for Eminem, so far, there's been no word if their latest split will be immortalized in his music.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW: After nearly four years of marriage, former Beatle Paul McCartney and his second wife Heather Mills McCartney separated. The couple blamed pressures from the media as the reason for the split, but insisted it was an amicable split.
For years the couple has been dogged with rumors that McCartney's children from his first marriage to Linda McCartney did not approve of the former model and animal rights advocate. The couple have always denied those allegations.
Despite McCartney's estimated wealth of $1.5 billion dollars, it is believed that he did not make Mills McCartney sign a pre-nuptial agreement.

There were 16 celeb marriage splits in the last six months. Unusual, even for Hollywood. TMZ has done some digging. Here are the most interesting.
TMZ has learned that the divorce is becoming bitter over money.
THE MARRIAGE: October 26, 2002
THE SPLIT: Jessica filed December 16, 2005
WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Sources tell TMZ that lawyers for Nick and Jessica have been trying to hammer out a settlement, but it is falling apart. We're told Jessica has offered significantly less than half of what Nick would be entitled to under California law.
Ironically, it was Nick who wanted a pre-nup, which would have separated their property. Jessica said no, we're told, at the behest of her Dad/Manager Joe Simpson. TMZ also dug up an article in 2004 in which she said "If anything were to happen to me and Nick, I've had a great life with him and he would deserve half of everything I have." Well, actions speak louder than words and our sources says she's offered a lot less. They are miles apart on the financial settlement and the buzz is it's not any greediness on Nick's part. Sources say he will definitely not ask for spousal support, even though he probably could get it.

David and Pamela Hasselhoff have settled their child custody dispute and they have left very little to chance.
Under the settlement agreement, filed May 4 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, David and Pamela have joint custody of their two daughters Taylor, 16 and Haley 13. As for physical custody, it will be split 50 / 50.

Schaech admits the couple's busy careers kept them apart which contributed to their breakup.
As far as reconciling with Applegate, Schaech adds, "It's not up to me."

Former 'Baywatch' beauty Donna D'Errico has filed for divorce from Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx after 9 years of marriage.
D'Errico is claiming irreconcilable differences and is seeking physical custody of their 5 year-old daughter Frankie-Jean and her 13 year-old son Rhyan from a previous relationship. D'Errico is requesting that the court give joint legal custody with child visitation to Sixx, and that spousal support and attorney fees be paid by Sixx as well.

Charlie Sheen has addressed the allegations made by his estranged wife, Denise Richards. She claims that, among other things, he threatened her life, hired prostitutes and frequented adult, gay websites.
Sheen told the television show 'EXTRA' that he was horrified by Richards' allegations, claiming he never threatened her. Sheen says Richards has violated their agreement to keep marital issues private and claims that many of her allegations are outright lies.

Eddie Murphy's Divorce Becomes Official

Eddie Murphy's divorce from wife Nicole became official yesterday, according to court papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court. The couple had been married since 1993.
Nicole filed for divorce back in Aug. 2005 after the couple separated in July. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
The couple has five children together, four daughters and a son, ranging in age from 3 to 15.
Murphy rose to fame in the early 1980s on 'Saturday Night Live' and in films like 'Beverly Hills Cop.' He'll next be seen starring alongside Jamie Foxx and Beyonce Knowles in 'Dreamgirls.'

Everyone was rooting for this couple, but it wasn't meant to be. After four years of marriage, it was over. Sources tell TMZ that the marriage fell apart because of a "third person."
We're told this is a strictly "amicable" divorce. In terms of courtroom conflicts, one source said, "It was over before it started." It seems the couple drafted a prenup before they were married and they have each agreed to walk away with what's theirs -- and no more.

The battle royale has centered around the former couple's 10-year-old daughter, Ireland. Kim has custody, Alec visitation. They have fought every step of the way. Alec has filed reports with the police, alleging Kim violated a court order by not turning Ireland over for visitation. Kim has accused Alec of upsetting their daughter with an alleged volcanic temper. Alec wanted the judge to order Kim to take co-parenting classes. He's accused her of substance abuse; an allegation she denied.
