Here's a crossover you probably weren't expecting ... Kanye West and Shane Gillis hanging backstage after the rapper's Texas concert.

The comedian gave fans a look behind the scenes by posting to Instagram a photo of himself with an arm around Ye after the his Alamodome show in San Antonio on Saturday night.

The meetup may seem like it came out of nowhere ... but the two have crossed paths before. Back in May, TMZ reported that Gillis was on the bill when Dave Chappelle took the stage at Comedy Store in Los Angeles ... where Chappelle surprised the crowd by bringing Kanye onstage for an unannounced appearance.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Madison Square Garden wedding seemingly went off without a hitch last night ... although the superstar's bestie Lena Dunham reportedly made a joke that left jaws on the floor.

The "Girls" creator hopped on the mic to honor Mrs. and Mr. Swift at one point Friday night, and according to Daily Mail, she joked during her speech that "American football is just straight guys reenacting gay porn."

According to the outlet's insider, the NSFW quip "divided" guests as "gasps and laughs" were heard directly after. But, the source says Taylor took no offense to the joke, and even called Lena a "genius" afterward.

Adam Sandler was the one who made Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce husband and wife -- the comedy legend served as the couple's wedding officiant!

The surprise role, revealed to TMZ by Tay's camp, puts Sandler at the center of one of the biggest celebrity weddings we've seen ... trading movie scripts for a marriage script as he officially pronounced the superstar couple married.

The gig wasn't exactly out of left field. Sandler and Kelce got to know each other while filming "Happy Gilmore 2," and ahead of the movie's release, Sandler gushed over the couple ... and now we know his compliments really paid off!

Comedian Carlos Mencia just appeared in court for his felony tax case ... and he entered a not guilty plea to all 12 charges against him.

Prosecutors say Carlos -- born Ned Arnel Holness -- failed to report $8.7 million in income and owes more than $300K in unpaid state taxes ... and he faces more than a decade behind bars if convicted on all 12 counts.

Carlos did get some good news during Monday's hearing ... authorities tell TMZ his bail amount was reduced from $250,000 to $50,000 -- welcome news, no doubt, because the comic has been cooling his heels in an L.A. jail cell since last week's arrest.

Travis Kelce gave off more bachelor party vibes in San Diego on Sunday night ... the soon-to-be Mr. Swift and his posse went to see Dave Chappelle perform -- and TMZ captured them leaving on their very own party bus!

TMZ obtained exclusive video of Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, along with about 8 other athletic-looking dudes exiting Viejas Arena on the campus of San Diego State University after Chappelle put on his hour-and-a-half show before a packed crowd.

Kevin Hart believes his ex-assistant Miesha Shakes should cough up a 5-figure sum for violating a confidentiality agreement where he says she agreed not to spill about him … TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Kevin is asking a judge to order Miesha to pay $50K in agreed-upon damages for breaching a non-disclosure agreement she signed.

Kevin sued Miesha, who worked for the entertainer from 2017 to 2020, after she did an interview with blogger Tasha K’s  … where he says she spilled info about his personal life.

Carlos Mencia has been hit with 12 tax-related criminal charges ... and he could face more than a decade in prison if convicted on all of them -- according to the L.A. district attorney.

The L.A. County District Attorney's Office is set up at Hall of Justice in downtown ... where D.A. Nathan Hochman spoke to the assembled members of the media.

Mencia has been charged with 12 counts ... six connected to his personal tax returns and six to his business tax returns, Hochman said. Prosecutors allege Mencia failed to report $8.7 million in income -- and owes more than $300K in unpaid state taxes.

Comedian Carlos Mencia is in some trouble with the law ... the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office says they'll soon be announcing criminal charges against him.

D.A. Nathan J. Hochman says he will announce the charges against Mencia at 2 PM PT in a Thursday press conference outside the Hall of Justice in downtown Los Angeles.

It’s unclear what exactly the charges will be … but the D.A.'s office says they've been filed as the first case by L.A.'s newly created Business Tax Fraud Unit.

Will Smith's former friend, Bilaal Salaam, is begging a judge not to make him pay 5-figures in attorney's fees he owes to Jada Pinkett Smith ... and he says he's broke and homeless.

In court docs, obtained by TMZ, Bilaal asked the court to reconsider a decision ordering him to pay Jada more than $32K in attorney's fees after she convinced the court to dismiss his claims of emotional distress.

Bilaal claims he is "certified homeless," receives welfare benefits, and cannot pay the judgment. He agrees he owes Jada legal fees, but he asked that the amount be reduced greatly or that some sort of payment plan be arranged due to his situation.
