Authorities and a source close to the victim tell TMZ … Cashel was booked into Salt Lake City jail in Utah on Monday morning – a week after a warrant had been issued.
Cashel was hit with a slew of charges by the SLC district attorney after he allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend in front of their 1-year-old daughter late last month.

Kerry Morgan, a former friend of Cassie Ventura's, just testified for the prosecution in the Diddy trial ... and she says she saw Diddy assault Cassie twice ... and claims both times he was sober.
Kerry took the stand Monday in Diddy's federal sex trafficking trial in NYC, and she told the jury one of the occasions she saw Diddy assault Cassie was at Diddy's house in Los Angeles. She said Diddy kicked Cassie, and when she told one of Diddy's security guards to do something about it, he refused. She says she left the house with Cassie and they hid outside a neighbor's house.
Morgan testified another time she saw Diddy assault Cassie was on a trip to Jamaica in 2013 ... when she says she saw Diddy drag Cassie by her hair. She also said she saw Diddy push Cassie to the ground. She said Cassie hit her head on a brick and she thought Cassie was KO'd.

Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder took a plea deal on Monday to close out his prostitution arrest case, TMZ Sports has confirmed.
A Franklin County, Ohio court official tells us ... the wrestling superstar pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay a fine of $250 plus court costs.
Additionally, we're told Snyder was ordered to participate in a John school.

Joe Exotic's husband was released from prison and immediately deported to Mexico ... TMZ has learned.
A rep for Joe tells us ... his 33-year-old husband, Jorge Marquez Flores, was deported to Mexico on Friday after being released from a Texas prison.
Jorge's deportation comes one day after the "Tiger King" star posted on his social media that Jorge was taken to an ICE Detention Center for his hearing to either stay in America or go back to Mexico. Ultimately, he was sent back to Mexico hours later, we're told.

Rapper HoodyBaby -- real name Omololu Akinlolu -- is charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, London's Metropolitan Police confirmed in a statement.
As we reported ... CB appeared at the same court Friday after being charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.
A judge ruled Chris would remain in police custody until his next court appearance ... which will be at London's Southwark Crown Court on June 13.

Cassie told the jury Thursday about the couple's on-and-off use of opiates over the course of their tumultuous years-long relationship, and she specifically referenced a wild night in February 2012.
She said, on that day, the couple had a freak-off, then went to a sex club in San Bernardino -- about 2 hours east of L.A. -- and later, Diddy went to the Playboy Mansion without Cassie.

Oddi’s ex, Tonia Troutwine, tells TMZ … Jonathan is still afraid of Diddy and fears retaliation from the Bad Boy Records CEO, despite sitting in a cell at the Miami-Dade County Jail in Florida.
But get this … Tonia says Oddi does feel somewhat relaxed and protected in jail because he’s far away from Diddy, who is currently on trial in NYC for racketeering, sex trafficking and other federal crimes -- sitting in his own jail cell in Brooklyn.
Diddy Trial Highlights Cassie Wraps Up Testimony ... New Witnesses Called
The first week of testimony in the Diddy trial is in the books ... and Cassie is finally off the stand.
The singer testified Friday for the fourth straight day, starting off with cross-examination from Diddy's defense team ... and lots of texts were read to jurors, including one where Cassie told Diddy she wasn't a "rag doll" after the hotel beating incident.
Cassie also referenced an affair she had with an NFL player and told his defense she didn't hate Diddy and actually had love for their past.
Cassie on Diddy Trial Testifying Was Challenging, Empowering
Cassie is off the witness stand after 4 days of testimony and she says it was an extremely challenging week ... but also empowering and healing for her.
The singer's lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, read a statement from Cassie outside the Manhattan courthouse Friday after she walked out of the witness box for the final time in Diddy's federal sex trafficking trial.
In her statement, Cassie says ... "I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors, and can help others who have suffered to speak up and also heal from abuse and fear."
