Hard to say what the scarier sight was for a Los Angeles-area neighborhood ... the battalion of law enforcement officers with heavy-duty guns drawn -- or the suspect's uncovered you-know-what swinging in the breeze during his surrender and arrest.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies rushed to Santa Clarita -- a city about 40 miles north of Los Angeles proper -- after they received a report of a man suffering from a mental health crisis Wednesday morning.

Nancy Guthrie's investigation seemed to get a jolt when cops found gloves near her Tucson, Arizona home ... and they even linked it to a person -- but they've hit another dead end.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed to local outlet KVOA-TV investigators were able to match DNA found in the glove to a restaurant worker employed across the street from where the glove was found.

However, Nanos says it won't help them find Guthrie ... because the worker and glove have "nothing to do with the case."

Misty Roberts -- the former mayor of a small Louisiana town who was convicted of having carnal knowledge of a juvenile -- is not happy with how her trial turned out ... because she still says she did nothing wrong.

Misty's lawyer Todd Clemons tells TMZ ... Misty is "very, very disappointed" in yesterday's verdict.

Clemons said ... "At this particular point, there's no apology that I'm gonna give on her behalf," adding while Misty respects the jury, she plans to appeal their verdict.

The 16-year-old boy who had sex with the former mayor of small Louisiana town dropped some jaw-dropping details testifying in court this week ... before the ex-mayor was convicted Tuesday.

The teen at the center of the trial took the stand yesterday, describing a "big argument" that took place after he was caught in bed with former DeRidder Mayor Misty Roberts ... he said Roberts immediately shifted blame to him after the drunken incident ... and he said Roberts told her own son to fight him.

According to local news outlet KPLC-TV, the underage victim said Roberts' son told the two they had been recorded having sex .... which prompted Roberts to scream, "Go fight your friend. He's the one who did it."

Tucker Carlson's dealing with a stressful situation, and he's got no nicotine pouches to calm him ... because hijackers stole a whole shipment of his product ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the former Fox News host's brand ALP Pouches was set to sell a limited-edition nicotine pouch line called "ALP Drifters" ... but a shipment containing 378,000 tins was stolen last week -- less than 24 hours after the company publicly announced the product.

The shipment of ALP Drifters -- which is said to be worth millions -- was picked up in Southern California logistics facility by someone who "presented what appeared to be legitimate operating credentials," the company told TMZ in a statement. Cameras caught the truck driving out of the facility.

"American Idol" alum Caleb Flynn is seen getting emotional while asking an officer where his wife's dead body went ... after she was murdered inside their Tipp City, Ohio home.

Check out the body cam video released by police -- Flynn, who has since been charged with his wife Ashley's murder -- wonders if she's been taken to a funeral home. Clearly, this video was recorded not long after her corpse was found deceased in bed ... because the officer says she is still located exactly where she took her last breath.

Police unloaded tons of body cam footage from their initial investigation, including video of Caleb being cuffed and processed at the station ... it's all in the clip. He was arrested Thursday by the Tipp City PD and booked into the county jail for murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence.

American Idol alum Caleb Flynn broke down in tears as police swarmed his Ohio home after his wife was shot to death, frantically asking one officer, "Is she gone?" ... according to new body cam footage.

Monday, Tipp City PD released body cam and dashcam video showing officers responding to Flynn's house after he called 911 to report his wife was shot by a burglar on February 16. Police blurred the body cam video inside the house, but not outside.

At one point in the clip ... Flynn is sobbing and repeatedly asking a police officer if his wife is "gone." He then says over and over, "Oh my God."

A woman was arrested overnight after allegedly attempting to break into Jake Webber's Los Angeles home.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... officers were called to the YouTuber's residence around midnight after a female showed up on his doorstep and tried to open the door. We're told she was taken away in cuffs for trespassing.

Sources say Jake is the one who called police to his home ... though it's unclear if he met with officers when they arrived.

Nancy Guthrie Case Detained Man Feared Cops Would Frame Him!!!

The Arizona man who was briefly detained in the Nancy Guthrie investigation is firing back at all the cops involved ... insisting the whole thing felt like a "fishing expedition" to pressure him into confessing to something he says he didn’t do.

In a sit-down interview on "True Crime Arizona" Monday, Luke Daley recalled cops pulling him over, cuffing him without explanation and detaining him for hours ... admitting the mounting pressure on law enforcement to solve the case had him panicking about being "framed."

Luke insisted time and time again that despite living nearby to Nancy, he had never met her and had absolutely nothing to do with her disappearance ... and wants her home safe just like everyone else.

Southern California Parents Blindsided by Teacher's Child Abuse Arrest

A teacher at Viewpoint School -- an elite Calabasas private school with tuition nearing $60,000 a year -- has been arrested over allegations of inappropriate behavior involving students … and now parents are questioning whether warning signs were missed.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department took 39-year-old Travis Takeshi Shojinaga -- who worked as a teacher at Viewpoint, a school for kindergarten through 12th grade -- into custody. He's since been charged with one felony count of possession of child sexual abuse material, and four misdemeanor accounts of annoying or molesting a child under the age of 18.

According to a source, many parents have kept their kids home ... giving hugs to each other as they returned to campus and saying how "disgusting" the situation is. Families are now demanding answers as the investigation unfolds.

12:52 PM PT -- Savannah Guthrie posted a still shot of the memorial scene on her Instagram Story just now … showing bright flowers against the greenery and blue sky in the background, writing how she and her family are feeling the love and prayers from well-wishers everywhere, adding … "please don't stop praying and hoping with us. bring her home."

Savannah Guthrie and family members were filmed outside their mother Nancy's Tucson, Arizona home this morning ... taking in a growing memorial for their mom one month into her search.

Watch the clip ... Savannah, her sister Annie, and brother-in-law Tommaso embraced as they laid flowers for Nancy. The memorial consisted of many bouquets and also signs with loving messages, along with what appears to be Nancy's "Missing" poster.

Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman seems to be racking up charges lately ... after being arrested for assault on Friday, he was taken into custody again on Sunday for felony burglary, TMZ has learned.

According to docs obtained by TMZ, Allman allegedly broke into a home in Windham, New Hampshire, Sunday ... leading to a female resident hiding in a closet.

The report says police arrived to find Allman sitting on the living room couch, smoking a cigarette ... and he was arrested without incident ... though nothing appeared to be missing from the home.

A $10 million lawsuit against Kodak Black over a shooting at an after-party during Super Bowl LVI weekend has been dropped, and it can't be refiled ... TMZ has learned.

Remember ... a shooting took place outside The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles on February 12, 2022 at an event hosted by Justin Bieber. Kodak reportedly took a bullet to the leg during the kerfuffle, and 2 bystanders -- Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman -- were also allegedly shot.

Schaefer and Rahman ended up suing Kodak for their injuries, claiming he escalated the situation, which they say eventually led to someone else firing a weapon.

Jeffrey Epstein New Mexico Ranch Investigation Reopened ... Following Dead Bodies Tip

While Jeffrey Epstein's island and jet have been a point of fascination for years, his New Mexico mansion has gotten less scrutiny, until now ... state officials have renewed interest in the ranch, which is rumored to have dead bodies buried on site.

According to The New York Times, Epstein purchased the sprawling 30,000-square-foot estate -- known as the Zorro Ranch -- in 1993 from the family of former NM Governor Bruce King. Epstein was reportedly drawn to "The Land of Enchantment," as the state is called, due to its obscurity and the lenient sex offender registry laws.

In 2019, the year Epstein died, an anonymous tip from someone who claimed to have worked at the ranch alleged that Epstein ordered the dead bodies of 2 abused girls to be buried in the hills outside the ranch, NYT reports.
