A Florida detective had a pretty simple reminder for his fellow cops after one deputy allegedly used police databases to stalk a woman he met on a TV set ... "You see a hot chick, you don't look them up in a database."

New footage obtained by 404 Media shows the investigation and arrest of former Monroe County Sheriff's deputy Lamar Eliseo Roman ... who allegedly tracked down an actress he met while working security on the Apple TV series "Bad Monkey."

In the video, the detective tells the woman Roman searched her name, photo, and vehicles ... then allegedly placed her license plate on a police "hot list" so he'd be alerted when she drove past a plate reader.

Rob Reiner's children, Jake and Romy Reiner, testified before the Los Angeles grand jury that would later indict their brother, Nick, on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with their parents' deaths.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office confirmed Jake and Romy went before the grand jury, according to PEOPLE.

As you know, Nick is accused of brutally murdering his filmmaker father and producer mother, Michele Singer Reiner, in December 2025 at their Los Angeles home.

Courtney Clenney has landed in her new prison digs in Florida and, from the look on her face in her mug shot, she's not really diggin' it too much.

The former OnlyFans model arrived Wednesday at Florida's state prison Reception Center for Women in Ocala, according to the Department of Corrections.  

She then posed for her new booking photo in her plain prison duds and, as you can see, she just stares unhappily into the camera. And who can blame her? Prison sucks.

Rep. Lauren Boebert's son appeared in court Wednesday in his first appearance since his arrest on charges of sexual exploitation of a child ... and he had some questions about the protection order handed down in his case after being told to stay the hell away from his ex-girlfriend, the alleged victim.

21-year-old Tyler Boebert went before a judge after his recent arrest in Colorado ... and the judge explained the details of the protection order she put in place.

Tyler was told not to harass the alleged victim, not to show up at her house, and not to contact her.

Elon Musk is doubling down on his defense of Derek Chauvin ... insisting the former Minneapolis cop convicted of murdering George Floyd is innocent and should be freed.

Elon weighed in Wednesday on X ... saying Chauvin was "unjustly convicted of murder" and claiming the facts show Chauvin did not cause Floyd's death or intend for anyone to die.

The billionaire definitively declared Chauvin "is not a murderer."

Keefe is accused of planning the legendary rapper's murder and allegedly producing the gun used to kill Tupac ... though prosecutors say he wasn't the trigger man that fateful night.

Police are not satisfied Hayden Panettiere's death was a tragic overdose of prescribed meds, because they are trying to determine if there could be criminal conduct behind it.

Here's Lindsay Clancy's ex-husband Patrick Clancy looking stressed in New York City with his new wife, Rachel Danis, while Lindsay faces murder charges in Massachusetts, where she's accused of killing their three kids.

The pair was seen at an apartment in Manhattan around 8 PM on Thursday, while Lindsay's murder trial was on a break. An eyewitness tells us Patrick and Rachel spent roughly 30 minutes on and off their phones and appeared visibly stressed as they talked among themselves.

Patrick was seen taking phone calls and pacing in circles while using his phone. At one point, he reportedly sat with his feet on a table and wiggled his toes. We're told Rachel remained mostly on the couch, talking and taking phone calls of her own.

Courtney Clenney is officially out of the Miami-Dade jail where she spent years awaiting the outcome of her murder case ... and now she's got a new lockup to navigate.

TMZ noticed Courtney was no longer appearing Wednesday morning in Miami-Dade County's inmate search portal ... and the Miami-Dade Corrections & Rehabilitation Department tells us she left its custody around 1 AM.

A department rep tells TMZ ... Courtney is now in the custody of Florida's Department of Corrections ... meaning she's made the expected move from county jail to the state prison system.

1:00 p.m. PST -- Karmelo Anthony's legal team says they are "pleased" with Judge John Roach being reclused from further legal proceedings involving his case.

They note ... "Today’s ruling answers a fundamental question: whether a reasonable fully informed observer would see Judge Roach’s conduct and believe that he could fairly and impartially consider a motion for new trial. We believe for the facts and reasons addressed in the motion and applicable law that the judge was correct in granting the motion to recuse."

Karmelo Anthony's defense team just scored a major victory in their push for a new trial -- their request for a new judge in the case has been accepted.

The decision came from a Collin County, Texas courtroom Wednesday morning ... courtesy of visiting Judge Sid Harle -- who served as the judge in the first Uvalde school shooting trial.

This means Judge John Roach -- who presided over Karmelo's initial trial and has publicly stated he thought the trial was fair -- has been recused. Karmelo's attorneys argued Roach's public comments following the trial proved he was unable to be unbiased while hearing their case for a new trial.

The new judge has yet to be appointed.

When a new judge is appointed, they are expected to hear arguments from Karmelo's defense on Thursday as to why he should get a new trial.

The "Chucky" look-alike running around Philadelphia terrorizing citizens may want to retire the mask before he gets hurt ... because a local woman says she confronted him -- and it's clear he's not ready for the smoke.

Jameka -- a local woman who asked not to use her last name -- spoke to ABC7 in Philly earlier this week ... explaining she actually squared up to the creepy doll impersonator.

Jameka said she saw "Chucky" chasing someone down the street ... and she stepped up to draw him away from the other person.

Oklahoma Secretary of State Benjamin Lepak was busted for allegedly being drunk in public at a McDonald's ... and his bonkers arrest was all captured on police body cam.

New footage shows the moment cops meet Lepak outside the burger joint while he's clutching his bag of food ... and police tell him someone called 911 because he seemed wasted.

Lepak tells officers he just wanted to go on his merry way and chow down -- but they weren't having it ... and kept peppering him with questions, such as whether he drove to the Edmond fast food spot and if he'd been drinking.

As the Tupac Shakur murder trial was underway Tuesday in Las Vegas, police converged on a nearby Starbucks after getting information about a possible shooting.

The Las Vegas Metro PD responded to a Starbucks in the downtown area on Tuesday afternoon after the dispatch center received calls about gunfire erupting inside a business, TMZ has confirmed.

When officers arrived at the coffee shop, they quickly learned there were no victims.

The terrifying suspect, donning the "Chucky"-like film character mask, has been harassing citizens in the city of Brotherly Love -- and even allegedly asked one woman, "Are you ready to die?"

Philadelphia Police Capt. Jason Smith said the frightening individual targeted a bunch of people in Philly's Center City, accosting them Wednesday during a 20-minute scare fest.
