D4vd Neo Calls Singer 'D**khead' Claims He Knows a Lot
D4vd's good friend Neo is a friend no more ... at least that's the way it seems based on how he is privately torching the singer.
Neo, as you know, was arrested last month for failing to appear before a grand jury in the apparent murder of Celeste Rivas, and D4vd is the prime suspect.
Neo, who appeared before the grand jury for only 40 minutes, clearly did not offer much info, but now he says he knows a lot.
According to Neo's private Instagram posts -- posted Friday and shared via "Close Friends" -- he says, "Thankfully I'm legally fine in every way, AND BOI DO I GOT ALL MY RECEIPTS FOR THINGS HAHAHAHA."

This looks like a big update in the D4vd case ... prosecutors want to call the singer's mother, father, and brother to testify before the grand jury in California, but D4vd's family isn't giving in without a fight.
According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, D4vd's fam is claiming a court order summoning them to testify in California violates their due process rights.
Dawud, Colleen, and Caleb Burke, who all live in Texas, claim they were denied due process because they were given redacted versions of the affidavits used to support a lower Texas court's order summoning them to be witnesses in a California grand jury proceeding.

Cops in Helena, MT confirm they were assisting LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division when they busted Neo. As we've reported, Robbery-Homicide is also leading the D4vd investigation.
While D4vd remains in the cross-hairs of investigators probing the Celeste Rivas murder, one of his friends, a famous streamer, is also in trouble now.

A rep for Lewis & Clark County Jail, where Neo is locked up, tells TMZ ... there was an out of jurisdiction warrant from Los Angeles for failure to appear as a witness. He's currently held without bond.

D4vd Likely To Be Indicted In Celeste Rivas Murder

Singer D4vd will likely face murder charges for the death of Celeste Rivas, and that's because the grand jury that's hearing the case will be asked to hand down an indictment ... sources tell TMZ.
There was a report last month that the grand jury was an "investigative" grand jury ... a grand jury that helps authorities gather evidence but one that does not indict. An investigative grand jury can be useful to subpoena and then force uncooperative witnesses to testify.
Our sources say, however, the grand jury that has been hearing witnesses in the Celeste Rivas murder is actually one that will vote on indictments, and multiple sources tell TMZ that authorities -- including prosecutor Beth Silverman -- believe D4vd was involved in the death of Rivas.
Celeste Rivas Grand Jury Uncooperative Witness to Be Arrested

There's trouble in the grand jury room where witnesses are testifying about the circumstances surrounding Celeste Rivas' death ... because at least one witness is so uncooperative she's about to be arrested ... TMZ has learned.
Here's the way it went down ... Beth Silverman, the deputy D.A. presenting the case in Los Angeles, came out into the hallway Wednesday afternoon and approached attorney Evan Jenness. She represents Robert Morgenroth, who manages singer D4vd.
Silverman told Jenness she was going to have the judge issue a "body attachment" ... to force a female witness to testify before the grand jury. It appears the female witness was a no-show, and a visibly frustrated Silverman said she would have authorities take the female witness into custody and bring her to the courtroom.
We do not know who the female witness is, but it's interesting she's represented by the same lawyer as Morgenroth, who spent around 3 days testifying before the grand jury.

The General Manager of Mogul Vision, D4vd's record label -- who appeared before the grand jury for the last 2 days regarding the death of Celeste Rivas -- was way more than a record exec ... he was involved in D4vd's day-to-day life.
Robert Morgenroth is someone the grand jury prosecutor is intensely interested in ... as we reported, we overheard him say in the courtroom hallway that the prosecutor hammered him on why he didn't call the police. We don't know the context, but it's clear it involved D4vd, because he's a suspect in Celeste's death.
Morgenroth is way more than a G.M. -- he was also D4vd's day-to-day manager. Turns out, there were 2 managers. The other is Josh Marshall, who actually founded Mogul Vision and, along with Morgenroth, managed the singer's career.
You may remember Marshall ... he's the one who signed the lease on the house D4vd was living in -- the home police searched shortly after Celeste's body was discovered in D4vd's Tesla. Law enforcement sources say the house is an important piece of the puzzle, which the LAPD believes implicates D4vd in Celeste's death ... which police believe is a murder.
Morgenroth is also the President of Zara Brothers Travel, D4vd's tour company.

The president of D4vd's touring company was grilled Monday by a deputy district attorney in front of a grand jury ... on why he didn't call the cops.
A grand jury is hearing evidence in the death of Celeste Rivas. TMZ broke the story ... LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division is considering D4vd a suspect in what it says is an apparent homicide.
Robert Morgenroth, the general manager of Mogul Vision, D4vd's record label, is also the president of Zara Brothers Travel -- D4vd's tour company.
We've learned Morgenroth testified all day Monday before the L.A. grand jury. At one point, with a half dozen people in the hallway, Morgenroth came out into the hallway and was talking to his lawyer -- loud enough so others could hear. He said -- referring to Beth Silverman, the deputy D.A. presenting the case before the grand jury -- "She was very pushy on why I didn't call police."

Mark Geragos says the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner is right to want transparency in the Celeste Rivas case ... and he's commending the M.E. for speaking out against the LAPD after cops obtained a court order blocking the M.E. from releasing records on the 14-year-old's death.
The famed defense attorney joined us on "TMZ Live" Wednesday and we asked him about the recent tug-of-war between the M.E. and the LAPD as it relates to Celeste, the young girl whose decomposing body was found in the trunk of singer D4vd's Tesla.
Police went to a judge and got a security hold on information regarding Celeste's death as LAPD continues to investigate ... and then the M.E., Dr. Odey Ukpo, put out a statement saying they want "full transparency" and are questioning the purpose and benefit of security holds.
Celeste Rivas Grand Jury Reportedly Investigating Apparent Homicide
A grand jury was reportedly convened to gather information on the death of Celeste Rivas.
The grand jury heard evidence for several days in mid-November ... this according to the Los Angeles Times. The Times reported the existence of the grand jury was disclosed in the LAPD's petition to block the L.A. County Medical Examiner's Office from release information about her death.
The grand jury was assembled as an investigative tool, and not to specifically indict anyone for Celeste's death. It has the ability to recommend charges, and it's unclear if it did so. It's also unclear if that grand jury is still gathering evidence.

LAPD has come out officially to dispute TMZ's story -- that the body of Celeste Rivas was partially frozen when it was examined -- but one source has doubled down.
A source connected to the L.A. County Medical Examiner insists Celeste's body was partially frozen when it was discovered inside a car registered to singer D4vd. This is in square contradiction to what LAPD is saying on the record.
It's interesting ... in one document from the Medical Examiner, it reads, "The decedent was not live scanned due to waterlogged fingers." Translation ... the M.E. was unable to fingerprint Celeste's body.

Singer D4vd -- a suspect in the presumed homicide of Celeste Rivas -- had a freezer large enough to store a body -- a relevant fact since her body had apparently been frozen for months.
Check out this photo of D4vd's rental home -- it was taken a few years ago, and it shows the kitchen had a KitchenAid refrigerator/freezer. The freezer side of the appliance has a height of around 74 inches, a width of around 14 inches, and a depth of roughly 27 inches. The temperature can get as low as minus 8 degrees Fahrenheit.
Celeste was 5'3" and 120 lbs. TMZ broke the story, her body was found in a bag in D4vd's Tesla -- it was decapitated and the arms and limbs cut off, so it could have fit in the freezer if the shelving inside had been removed. BTW ... a torso for a 5'3" woman falls between 15 and 17 inches long, and 14 to 15 inches wide.

Geragos says law enforcement has done a stunningly impressive job connecting the dots in this case, using a combination of cellphone and Tesla data, along with location data from social media.

We're also told they're viewing Celeste's death as a homicide, even though the Medical Examiner has yet to determine cause or manner of death -- investigators are still awaiting toxicology results.
Celeste Rivas Investigation P.I. Thinks 'Sadistic' Plans Were Set for Teen's Corpse
The private investigator hired to probe Celeste Rivas' death case has made a harrowing revelation -- he thinks there was a "sadistic" plan made to "get rid" of the teen.
Check out Steve Fischer's interview on "Law&Crime Sidebar with Jesse Weber" -- he says the purported "scary" plan didn't have to do with how she died, but how her body was to be dumped following her death.
He says he can't spill much ... but thinks the original plan went wrong at some point, and that the Tesla where her dismembered corpse was found in early September was supposed to be a holding spot.
