Netflix's "Monster: The Ed Gein Story" has put Plainfield, Wisconsin on the map ... but not in the way the town was hoping for.

The latest season of the popular anthology series follows the life of Gein -- nicknamed "The Butcher of Plainfield" -- and the crimes he committed around his hometown.

The small town's Clerk Treasurer, Emily Schaut, tells TMZ ... "Just like so many places, Plainfield has dark moments in its history. We acknowledge this, and we have worked diligently to become more than a single story."

Armani White may have gotten too ambitious last night, aiming for his next big hit ... at least, according to police ... the multi-platinum rapper was arrested and booked in Kentucky Sunday night.

Justin Baldoni's former agent Danny Greenberg is weighing in on the actor-director's ongoing drama with Blake Lively ... describing in a deposition why he compared the situation to extortion.

In a deposition transcript obtained by TMZ, Greenberg said the cumulative behavior and mounting pressure from Blake Lively that both the studio and Justin were managing felt like "extortion" to him ... that if Baldoni didn't give in to her demand to take over control of the project, he'd be sidelined.

As we've reported, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios, claiming he sexually harassed Lively during the production of their film "It Ends With Us" and alleging he spearheaded a smear campaign against her ... claims Baldoni has denied.

1:15 PM PT -- Bravo has paused the series premiere of "Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition" ... the Osefos were slated to appear in the first episode, Variety reports. The premiere is pushed back a week following the Osefos' arrests, from Oct. 14 to Oct. 21.

12:03 PM PT -- A rep for Wendy tells TMZ ... “Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits. They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues."

Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband Eddie have been booked on criminal fraud charges, TMZ has learned.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, "The Real Housewives of Potomac" star is facing 16 charges -- including 7 felonies, for allegedly making false/misleading info fraud in excess of $300. She's also facing one misdemeanor count of making a false statement to an officer.

The couple was booked Thursday night in Westminster, Maryland.

Here's the deal ... police say the couple reported a burglary in April last year ... the couple claimed they found their bedroom ransacked after returning from a trip to Jamaica. We told you about that incident at the time.

Michael Lohan is a free man again ... 'cause TMZ has learned Lindsay's dad was released from jail early after serving time for violating his probation -- tied to his February arrest for allegedly beating up his ex, Kate Lohan.

A rep for the Palm Beach County Detention Center in Florida tells TMZ ... Michael was released around 1 AM on Sunday, October 5. We're told he scored early release -- 24 days off -- thanks to "gain time" earned from working inside the jail as a trustee inmate.

Lohan checked in around April and was expected to serve roughly nine months. His probation violation stemmed from the Texas arrest, where he was hit with a felony continuous violence against the family charge. That case, we're told, is still pending.

Mark Sanchez spent about 20 minutes roaming and, at times, stumbling around downtown Indianapolis before the violent encounter with his alleged victim ... and this new video shows nearly all of his activity.

TMZ Sports obtained surveillance videos tracking the ex-NFL star -- from 12:05 AM, when the alleged victim, Perry Tole, pulled up in his service truck ... to 12:30 AM, when Sanchez fled the scene, bloodied from stab wounds.

When Tole arrives, you see him drive south down the alley ... where, apparently, Sanchez was already on the move. When Tole parks, he's out of camera view, so we don't know if they see each other, but 7 minutes later, Sanchez walks north out of the alley ... stumbling a bit.

Sean "Diddy" Combs had to break some tough news to his 2-year-old daughter after a judge sentenced him to 50 months in federal prison ... and he got emotional when he had to tell her that daddy wasn't coming home as soon as his family had hoped.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Diddy was talking to the mother of his youngest child, Dana Tran, on the phone after sentencing and she put their toddler daughter, Love, on the phone, and the kid asked her father when she could see him and where he was.

Diddy was at MDC Brooklyn ... and we're told he choked up when Love told him, "I miss you, Daddy." An emotional Diddy replied, "I miss you and love you very much, Love."

A Hollywood Hills property Bono's invested in was visited by first responders Thursday ... after authorities received a call about an alleged stabbing, TMZ has learned.

The Los Angeles Police Department tells TMZ officers responded to the stabbing report around 1:20 PM PT, and they immediately started investigating the claim.

The Los Angeles Fire Department tells TMZ they dispatched one fire engine and one ambulance to the house for an unconfirmed but reported stabbing ... and, we've obtained video of a helicopter circling the area while an ambulance climbed up the hill to the home.

Jenna Bush Hager is as pumped as anybody for Taylor Swift's wedding ... but she's pumping the brakes on Ryan Seacrest as a possible officiant.

We caught up with the "Today with Jenna & Friends" cohost outside of 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City Thursday, where she told us she thinks Tay Tay's future nuptials with NFL tight end Travis Kelce will be chock-full of celebs ... but definitely doesn't think Ryan will make a cameo officiating the ceremony.
