Aaliyah’s family fight over music royalties has heated up … with the late singer's cousin -- who was blamed for her death by her uncle -- seeking a $20 million payout in their ongoing litigation ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Jomo Hankerson, the late singer’s cousin, believes his father, Barry Hankerson, owes him the 8-figure sum over Aaliyah and other artists’ music.

In a letter between the lawyers about the ongoing dispute, reps for Jomo revealed he would settle his claims if he received $20 million.

The family attorney, Patrick Steinfeld, tells TMZ, “The Rivas Hernandez family was shocked to learn that David Anthony Burke claims to be indigent."

The statement continues, "It is unfathomable that our justice system qualifies David Anthony Burke as indigent when D4VD has 5+ billion streams with 16 million monthly listeners on a single streaming platform, and controls three corporations" -- pointing out D4VD Entertainment, Skullrose Merchandising and Headspace Publishing, specifically.

Multiple witnesses tell TMZ ... Jaime was at the Signia by Hilton San Jose last Thursday, where she was staying ahead of GalaxyCon at the nearby convention center.

We're told Jaime sat in the lobby talking loudly on her phone for about 30 minutes, dropping F-bombs and drinking alcohol. Witnesses tell us she appeared under the influence.

The fake 49ers player Daejon Love may have had the cars, cash and big talk ... but one woman says his story fell apart with a simple roster check.

A woman named Cara joined us Monday on "TMZ Live" ... telling us she looked Love up early on and quickly realized his name wasn't anywhere on the San Francisco 49ers roster.

When she questioned him about it, Cara says Love fired back with a five-minute voice message breaking down NFL contracts ... claiming a thumb injury prevented him from passing the medical portion of his deal, so he couldn't appear on the official roster even though he was supposedly still with the team.

Fake 49er Daejon Love allegedly had his hand out years before his arrest ... with two women suing him over thousands in unpaid loans.

Court records obtained by TMZ show Love was sued twice in small-claims court in Sacramento County -- once in 2020 and again in 2021.

In the first case, Olivia Datu claimed Love borrowed $4,900 from her over the course of several weeks ... including $1,200 for a credit card payment and $3,700 for work on a Dodge vehicle.

Aaliyah's uncle claims his son is partly to blame for the late singer's death ... lobbing the bombshell allegation as the two fight over money in court.

TMZ obtained a lawsuit filed by Jomo Hankerson against Barry Hankerson and his record label Blackground Records. Barry is Aaliyah's uncle and longtime manager. Jomo is Barry's son and Aaliyah's cousin.

In the docs, Barry claims Aaliyah's cousin was paid to coordinate travel for her music video shoot in the Bahamas ... referring to the fateful August 2001 trip where she died in a plane crash.

Aaliyah's uncle says his son "failed in his responsibility" to handle travel plans ... and she instead took a private jet that crashed and killed everyone onboard.

Milo Yiannopoulos, former Chief of Staff for Kanye West, claimed his estranged husband threatened to call immigration authorities to have him deported … less than a year before he was taken into custody by ICE and sent back to the UK ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs filed back in October 2025, obtained by TMZ, Milo claims his ex, John Campbell, had “explicitly threatened" him with deportation from the country, calling him an “illegal immigrant” and saying he would call the "ICE hotline" on him. Milo says Campbell knew his green card status depended on their continued marriage.

He also says Campbell refused to appear at appointments regarding his immigration status until his financial demands were met, which delayed Milo's application process.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, prosecutors filed a rape shield motion Thursday in the criminal case against the "Love & Hip Hop" alum.

The motion asks the judge to keep the alleged victim's past sex life from being brought up in court, unless the law allows it.
