'Wheel of Fortune' Business as Usual After Jim Thornton’s Firing

“Wheel of Fortune” did not use an announcer during its latest taping … following the firing of longtime announcer Jim Thornton after he was allegedly caught on a child-predator website … TMZ has learned.

A source close to production tells TMZ … Season 44 rolled cameras Tuesday on the Sony Studios lot, with the usual introductions and announcements noticeably absent.

As we first reported … editors have also begun scrubbing Thornton’s voice from episodes already taped for the current season. We’re told they did not have anyone introduce hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White for Tuesday's taping.

The Secret Service agent accused of beating his meat in a Miami hotel hallway has prosecutors hunting for one potentially key piece of evidence ... surveillance video.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, prosecutors asked a judge last month to delay John Spillman's trial, saying they still needed some additional time for "essential discovery" -- including CCTV footage.

As TMZ previously reported ... Spillman was arrested in May after hotel guests told investigators he followed them from the lobby of the DoubleTree near Miami International Airport before allegedly exposing himself and masturbating outside their room.

NBA star Tyler Herro and his baby mama Katya Henry have split, and it's already getting nasty ... the exes are duking it out in court over custody and support after their bitter breakup, TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained dueling lawsuits filed by Tyler and Katya. The exes share two minor kids ... a daughter born in 2021 and a son born in 2023 ... so this is no simple split.

In his filing, Tyler asked the court to set up a parenting schedule and determine how much he should pay in child support. The Milwaukee Bucks star said he had been voluntarily paying his ex support since she gave birth.

Tyler dismissed his case days later.

Kyle Richards is speaking out about where things stand with her sister Kim Richards after their eviction drama ... and apparently there's no bad blood between the siblings, even though Kyle kicked Kim out of a condo.

The 'RHOBH' star told a photog Tuesday at LAX that Kim is currently "doing okay" and "better" than when Kyle sued her back in January 2025 ... when she demanded her older sister vacate Kyle's 2-bedroom Encino condo.

Kyle said her older sis "has a big family that loves her very much."

The streamer denies any wrongdoing over claims that his security guard, Lamont Gilbert aka Cuddy, beat up Dustin unprovoked at the 2025 Dominican Day Parade in New York City.

Malik Beasley wants a break from his federal travel restrictions ... so he can see his kids in California and then jet off to Hawaii for work.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ Sports, Beasley asked a judge for permission to travel from September 6 through 15, with stops in Rancho Mirage, Beverly Hills, and Hawaii.

The NBA baller's lawyer says the California leg is personal -- Beasley wants to spend a few days with his two young children before school starts.

Then it's all business in Hawaii ... where he's scheduled for a resort promotion tied to his social media work.

D4vd is now facing a fight outside his criminal case ... the family of Celeste Rivas Hernandez is filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the singer.

The suit comes exactly one year after Celeste's dismembered remains were discovered in the trunk of D4vd's Tesla on September 8, 2025.

D4vd -- whose real name is David Anthony Burke -- is already charged with murdering the 14-year-old ... along with lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 and mutilating a body. He's pleaded not guilty.

Beauty Queen Lindsay Shiver agreed to give up primary physical custody of the three kids she shares with her ex-husband, Robert Shiver, after she was accused of trying to kill him ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained the divorce settlement signed by Lindsay and Robert back in 2025 ... and the deal states Robert will be the primary physical custodian of their kids -- Grayson, born in 2012, Landon, born in 2013, and Rhett, born in 2019. They agreed to shared legal custody.

Robert and Lindsay also agreed that neither will be paid alimony or child support ... although Robert will pay for their school tuition and extracurricular activities. Both agreed not to talk negatively about the other in front of the kids or on social media.

Jim Thornton is being scrubbed from more than just "Wheel of Fortune" ... his alma mater appears to be distancing itself from him as well ... in the wake of his pedo chatroom scandal.

Marshall University appears to have removed multiple references to Thornton from its website ... including webpages celebrating him as its 2026 Spring Commencement speaker and 2025 Homecoming Grand Marshal ... with links now leading to 404 error pages.

A Marshall University spokesperson tells TMZ ... "At this time, Marshall University is aware of the media reports regarding Jim Thornton and is actively monitoring the situation."

TMZ obtained docs filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office showing Ms. Rachel's company, Songs For Little LLC, filed a petition over creator Sherrika Myers' trademark for Herbie.

Jack Doherty's domestic battery arrest was allegedly scarier than originally thought ... cops say the popular YouTuber's girlfriend claims he pushed her down and wrapped his hands around her neck, prompting her to grab a gun to protect herself.

The probable cause affidavit, obtained by TMZ, lays out all the allegations against Jack, who cops say got into a heated argument Friday afternoon with his girlfriend inside a Florida home.

Cops say the woman told officers Jack ran up to her and got right in her face during a confrontation, scaring the heck out of her. As a result, the woman says she used her arm to put some distance between her and Jack.
