Rory McIlroy took home the one major championship that so eluded him throughout his illustrious career Sunday at The Masters -- officially completing the grand slam -- and Tiger Woods congratulated the newest member of one of golf's most prestigious clubs!

The 49-year-old golf legend took to his X account shortly after McIlroy drained a birdie putt on the 18th green in the first playoff hole, not only earning himself a Green jacket in his 17th Masters appearance, but also completing the golf grand slam, making him the first to do so since Woods in 2000.

RM won The U.S. Open in 2011, PGA Championship in 2012 (and '14), The Open Championship in 2014, PGA Championship and now The Masters in 2025.

Good news for those hoping to bust out their Boston Bruins jerseys and hockey stick putters this summer ... Christopher McDonald -- the man who played Shooter McGavin in "Happy Gilmore" -- tells TMZ Sports that Adam Sandler's golf flick's sequel is going to rock.

"Happy Gilmore 2" is slated to drop on Netflix on July 25 ... and when we caught up with McDonald out at LAX this week, he told us it's "going to be fantastic."

A source with direct knowledge confirmed to TMZ Sports on Thursday the golfing legend recently got into a romantic relationship with Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-wife.

Another devastating setback for Tiger Woods ... the golf legend just announced he tore his Achilles.

The 49-year-old said in a statement Tuesday afternoon he suffered the ailment as he was training for the upcoming PGA Tour season at his Florida home. He stated it was his left leg that gave out on him -- not the right one that was nearly amputated following his infamous 2021 rollover car crash.

Woods added he underwent "minimally-invasive" surgery to fix this issue Tuesday morning ... which doctors deemed successful.
