"Grey's Anatomy" star Steven W. Bailey is done hiding his rare genetic disorder, which sometimes requires him to use a wheelchair ... and he hopes his bravery doesn't cost him his career.

The actor opened up in a lengthy X thread over the weekend, revealing he's been battling Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome for over five years.

He wrote, "CMS is a genetic disease that disrupts the communication between the brain and the muscle at the 'nerve/muscle junction.' ... My muscles aren't clearly receiving all my brain's orders to do all the swell things muscles are meant to do. It's a drag."

Bret Hanna-Shuford, the Broadway actor known for "Wicked" and "The Little Mermaid," has died.

His husband, Stephen Hanna-Shuford, shared the news on Instagram Saturday, revealing Bret had been battling Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis and T-Cell Lymphoma, which compromised his immune system.

"It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that early this morning we said goodbye to the most amazing man, husband and Papa in the universe," Stephen wrote. "Bret Hanna-Shuford left this world peacefully with love surrounded by his family. Our hearts are broken but we will continue to make him proud of us..."

On December 30, the reality star posted a selfie from his hospital bed on TikTok, writing he was "waiting to be life flighted to another hospital."

We're told Billy asked for permission to steal the mic -- and the audience went crazy when he played "Big Shot" and "We Didn’t Start the Fire."

Barry Manilow is sharing a positive update about 2 weeks after he revealed his lung cancer diagnosis.

The "Copacabana" hitmaker took to Instagram Friday to share a selfie of what appears to be him lying in a hospital bed and wearing a provided gown. Boxing superstar Anthony Joshua has been released from a Nigerian hospital after being involved in a car wreck that killed two of his trainers.

Anthony, a former heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist, was discharged late Wednesday afternoon and will continue his recovery from home ... according to authorities in Nigeria.

As we reported ... Anthony was under observation at a hospital in Lago after Monday's fatal car crash.

At least 41 young men in South Africa are dead as a result of getting their foreskins removed ... and the fatal circumcisions were performed as part of traditional initiation ceremonies.

The stunning number of deaths occurred in November and December, according to South African authorities ... who added that circumcision is one component of traditional initiation in their country.

Authorities say the initiation is a rite of passage into manhood for young men from different ethnic groups in Africa ... including the Xhosa, Ndebele, Sotho, and Venda.

Here's how the process works ... .young men are placed into initiation schools to be taught the cultural values and responsibilities of becoming an adult -- and circumcision is part of the curriculum.

Escobar tells TMZ ... she and a pal went to LIV nightclub in Miami Beach to see a Sunday night performance before popping over to Taco Bell for some grub in the wee hours, which is when she says all the trouble started. According to a police report taken by the Miami Beach Police Department, the reality star was waiting for her order when a male approached and started making "inappropriate remarks toward her," which she told cops she ignored.

According to the report, a female accompanying the male apparently became agitated and struck her on her right cheek. Police said the couple then left the scene in a white Mercedes.

After a promising start to getting the rehab he desperately needs, former 'Ned's Declassified' star Tylor Chase is back on the streets, TMZ has learned.

"Mighty Ducks" star Shaun Weiss tells TMZ ... Tylor was evaluated by a mental health crisis team after Jacob Harris -- the owner of Shipwreck Barbershop in Riverside, California, who has been a major advocate for Tylor -- called them. The crisis team placed Tylor in a 72-hour involuntary psychiatric hold, but they inexplicably released him, according to Shaun.

Shaun says, "They were supposed to hold him and then transport him to a detox facility that we had arranged. Instead, they let him out without contacting any of us."

According to Shaun, when Jacob found Tylor back on the street in Riverside late at night last week, the crisis team was called again. This time, they once again assessed Tylor to be a danger to himself -- Shaun tells us he was told Tylor was "smoking meth during the evaluation with no shoes or jacket in the freezing cold."

But Shaun says they still left him out on the street. Shaun also tells us ... despite some fans' well-meaning gestures to help Tylor out by giving him money on the street, that's been working against his recovery.

A police officer in Tennessee literally pulled a distraught woman back from the brink the day after Christmas -- saving her life as she prepared to leap off a bridge ... and it was all caught on video.

Watch the clip ... the woman can be seen standing on the ledge of the Holston River Bridge in Knoxville, Tennessee. As Tennessee Highway Patrol and emergency responders stand by, the woman peers out onto the water, gathering herself to jump.

But in one heart-pounding moment, one of the officers lunges forward, grabs the woman by the waist and pulls her back to safety.

The actor and his loved ones gave extensive interviews for CNN's new documentary, "I’m Chevy Chase and You’re Not" according to Variety.

Chevy's wife, Jayni Chase, says in the new doc that she took her husband to the emergency room because they didn't know what was wrong with him ... which was when his heart just stopped.
