"Grey's Anatomy" star Steven W. Bailey is done hiding his rare genetic disorder, which sometimes requires him to use a wheelchair ... and he hopes his bravery doesn't cost him his career.

The actor opened up in a lengthy X thread over the weekend, revealing he's been battling Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome for over five years.

He wrote, "CMS is a genetic disease that disrupts the communication between the brain and the muscle at the 'nerve/muscle junction.' ... My muscles aren't clearly receiving all my brain's orders to do all the swell things muscles are meant to do. It's a drag."

Bret Hanna-Shuford, the Broadway actor known for "Wicked" and "The Little Mermaid," has died.

His husband, Stephen Hanna-Shuford, shared the news on Instagram Saturday, revealing Bret had been battling Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis and T-Cell Lymphoma, which compromised his immune system.

"It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that early this morning we said goodbye to the most amazing man, husband and Papa in the universe," Stephen wrote. The "Copacabana" hitmaker took to Instagram Friday to share a selfie of what appears to be him lying in a hospital bed and wearing a provided gown. He looks happy in the photo ... flashing a positive grin at the camera. The snap appears to be texted from a phone, as there's a grey text bubble that reads "Better Today!" below it.

As we reported, Barry revealed in December "a cancerous spot" was found on his left lung during an MRI ordered by his doctor. At the time, he had been battling bronchitis for more than 2 months.

At least 41 young men in South Africa are dead as a result of getting their foreskins removed ... and the fatal circumcisions were performed as part of traditional initiation ceremonies.

The stunning number of deaths occurred in November and December, according to South African authorities ... who added that circumcision is one component of traditional initiation in their country.

Authorities say the initiation is a rite of passage into manhood for young men from different ethnic groups in Africa ... including the Xhosa, Ndebele, Sotho, and Venda.

Tylor was evaluated by a mental health crisis team after Jacob Harris -- the owner of Shipwreck Barbershop in Riverside, California, who has been a major advocate for Tylor -- called them. The crisis team placed Tylor in a 72-hour involuntary psychiatric hold, but they inexplicably released him, according to Shaun.

Shaun says, "They were supposed to hold him and then transport him to a detox facility that we had arranged. Instead, they let him out without contacting any of us."

According to Shaun, when Jacob found Tylor back on the street in Riverside late at night last week, the crisis team was called again. This time, they once again assessed Tylor to be a danger to himself -- Shaun tells us he was told Tylor was "smoking meth during the evaluation with no shoes or jacket in the freezing cold."

But Shaun says they still left him out on the street. Shaun also tells us ... despite some fans' well-meaning gestures to help Tylor out by giving him money on the street, that's been working against his recovery.

A police officer in Tennessee literally pulled a distraught woman back from the brink the day after Christmas -- saving her life as she prepared to leap off a bridge ... and it was all caught on video.

Watch the clip ... the woman can be seen standing on the ledge of the Holston River Bridge in Knoxville, Tennessee. As Tennessee Highway Patrol and emergency responders stand by, the woman peers out onto the water, gathering herself to jump.

But in one heart-pounding moment, one of the officers lunges forward, grabs the woman by the waist and pulls her back to safety.
