John Gotti's Grandson Catches A Little Break On Prison Time ... As Clock Ticks On Mom's Kidney Donor Search

John Gotti's grandson Carmine Agnello will have to spend just over a year behind bars as his mom, Victoria Gotti, desperately tries to find a kidney donor during his incarceration, TMZ has learned.

The federal Bureau of Prisons says Carmine's release date has been pushed up to September 2, 2027, which is a nearly 13-month stretch instead of his original 15-month sentence.

As we reported, Carmine pleaded guilty in 2024 to a $1.1 wire fraud scheme tied to COVID-19 relief funds. Carmine surrendered Monday to the feds and was imprisoned at the Federal Correctional Institution Fairton in Fairton, New Jersey.

John Gotti’s grandson Carmine Agnello has surrendered to the Bureau of Prisons after a New York judge denied his request to again delay his report date in order to donate his kidney to his ailing mom, Victoria Gotti.

The BOP tells TMZ ... Carmine surrendered himself on Monday and is now housed at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fairton located in Fairton, New Jersey.

We told you all about it -- Carmine was sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty in September 2024 to a $1.1 million wire fraud scheme tied to COVID-19 relief loans. He was able to secure an extension to his original July 20 report date due to his plans to donate a kidney to his sick mother.

The health update comes just days after ZZ Top cancelled their August 5 show at the Hollywood Bowl.

Samuel's wife, Shawna Stewart, tells TMZ ... Sam's brain continues to swell because ventricles have enlarged ... and they're not holding the cerebral fluid, which is resulting in seizures. He's undergone three brain surgeries, we're told.

She also says his left lung has partially collapsed.

Victoria Gotti is currently on the mend from a serious infection that canceled her kidney transplant from her son, Carmine Agnello ... as they wait to see if they'll secure a rescheduled surgery date before he heads to the slammer.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the famous mother and son duo -- the bloodline of Mafia boss John Gotti -- is waiting to hear back from a surgeon today to see when Victoria can be fit in for surgery. It does not look like it's going to happen by Monday, which is Carmine's surrender date ... but they don't have a final answer yet.

A judge said this week if Victoria has the surgery before or on Monday, Carmine's surrender date will be pushed until Sept. 18.
