Donald Trump just upped the ante for Joe Biden in their 2024 race for the presidency – challenging the current commander-in-chief to another, less restrictive debate to test their competence.

Trump - the presumptive Republican presidential nominee – posted a long screed on his Truth Social platform, throwing down the gauntlet for a "no holds barred" debate with Biden – his Democratic rival.

The former U.S. president opened by asking Biden to debate him onstage alone so they could talk about the future of the country.

In a terrifying scene like something right out of the film "Jaws" ... multiple people were injured when a shark attacked on July 4th at South Padre Island, TX.

Police were called for an attack on a man who was severely bitten just before noon Thursday ... but in a later statement from Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept., they reported two people were bitten and two more had encountered the shark but were not seriously injured.

While the injured man was initially treated at the beach by firefighters and police ... officials say one of the bite victims was taken to a local hospital, while the other was flown out for further treatment.

Several spectators were hospitalized after stray fireworks launched into the crowd Thursday at the Provo, UT "Stadium of Fire" July 4th show.

The spectacle took place at LaVell Edwards Stadium ... and as several fireworks were blasted for a military flyover during the flag ceremony, some of the rockets were sent flying into the audience in the stands.

Witnesses claim at least five mortars shot directly into the audience ... with one witness seeing a person get hit directly in the face by one of the sidetracked blasts.

Ray poured out his emotions with an alarming social media post in which he references a dispute that went on backstage at Sunday night's BET Awards at the Peacock Theater in downtown L.A. -- he says, "The s**t that. Is Happening is mind blowing - it's making me suicidal and uncomfortable with the perception of reality!"

His Monday morning post came hours after he was involved in a standoff outside GloRilla's BET Awards afterparty. Ray and a Zeus Network exec were yelling about fighting each other, as bodyguards desperately tried to keep things peaceful. Ray did throw a punch but didn't hit anyone. At one point, Ray grabbed a backpack out of his vehicle and charged back into the crowd -- it's unclear what was in the bag, but his team was able to convince him to get back in the vehicle and they drove off without further incident.
