"Vanderpump Rules" alum Jax Taylor wrote an email to his ex, Brittany Cartwright, telling her to stop asking about her ring amid their divorce war and saying she wasn't getting it anytime soon ... this according to docs filed in her restraining order case.

TMZ obtained court docs filed by Brittany in which she included an email exhibit. The alleged message came from Jax on August 21, 2026, and read, “You are not getting the ring back till court … do not ask again.”

All signs point to the argument being over Brittany's wedding ring. Following their 2024 split, in June 2025 Brittany claimed on an episode of the 'VPR' spinoff "The Valley" that she had no idea where her wedding ring and band were.

Jax filed a petition for a domestic violence restraining order against Brittany mere days after she obtained a temporary order against him. He asked the court to keep her 100 yards away from him amid their bitter divorce.

In the docs, Jax points to an incident in August 2024, which he claims was about a week after he left rehab.  He says he went to the aquarium with Brittany and their kid before stopping in for lunch at Hooters. He said Brittany ordered several shots of tequila, even though it was around 2 in the afternoon.

Singer Cher scoffed at her daughter-in-law’s claims she’s concerned about the singer’s son, Elijah Blue … saying she thinks the woman is only out for herself and fame ... TMZ has learned.

Cher filed court docs opposing Elijah’s estranged wife, MarieAngela King, attempt to be appointed his guardian to take control of his life. The legendary singer said it wasn’t just her feeling this way … but also the feeling of the hospital he's currently in and the rest of Elijah’s family.

The entertainer claimed MarieAngela failed to take care of Elijah before his recent arrest in New Hampshire. Cher said she believed the reason MarieAngela was trying to take over was that she is “inserting herself back into the picture on a quest for money and/or a bit of fame.”

Justin Baldoni hung out with controversial podcaster Candace Owens after running into each other at an airport.

On Monday, Candace posted a selfie with the "It Ends With Us" director at an airport in Iceland. 

She captioned the post on X, “We asked Claude. There was an approximate 1 in 100 million chance that I ran into Justin Baldoni at an airport in Iceland on a Friday afternoon. Just incredible.”

Lizzo's probably shouting that it's about damn time ... because a judge just threw out what remained of the complaint filed by a wardrobe staffer against her Big Grrrl Big Touring company on Tuesday.

A federal judge in California ruled in the company's favor against Asha Williams -- a former tour employee who worked on Lizzo's 2023 "The Special Tour" and sued the touring company with claims of sexual and racial harassment.

Asha sued both Lizzo and her tour group back in 2023 ... though the claims against Lizzo as an individual were dismissed back in 2024.

If Nolan Wells' so-called friends think Rev. Al Sharpton is going to just roll over, apologize, and dole out retractions, Sharpton says they should think again.

He issued a statement Tuesday, slamming the boys' impending defamation lawsuit as "meritless," explaining he'll "neither be silenced nor retract statements he did not make."

Jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder case told the Judge Tuesday morning that they can't reach a unanimous verdict on any of the counts, but the judge isn't ready to throw in the towel.

The jurors deliberated for 18 hours before they threw their hands up in the air. Jurors are trying to decide if Clancy is guilty of murder, manslaughter, or not guilty by lack of criminal responsibility. The lack of criminal responsibility is essentially an insanity defense.

It's clear some of the jurors were entertaining the lack of criminal responsibility defense when they asked to see the knife she allegedly used to slash herself and the pill bottles.

The jury has gone back to deliberate.

As we previously reported ... Clancy’s defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, has argued she was suffering from postpartum psychosis when her three children -- Cora, Dawson and Callan -- died at the family's Massachusetts home in January 2023.

Prosecutors maintain Lindsay was criminally responsible.

Lindsay has pleaded not guilty ... however, she acknowledges killing the children. Her ex-husband Patrick Clancy has already taken the witness stand, describing the devastating discovery of his children and his call to 911 which was played in court.

TMZ obtained real estate records showing D4vd’s dad, Dawud Burke, sold a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1,819-square-foot home in Houston, Texas, for $229,000 in early July.

A couple months earlier in late April, documents show Dawud took out a $138K loan on a different property in Houston ... which appears to be a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 1,260-square-foot home.

Leonora Ann Darby filed the lawsuit Monday against Tea Shop Productions and two other producers, TSP cofounders James Harris and Mark Lane, for allegedly violating their agreement by failing to acknowledge her key role in the making of "Obsession" and treating her not as an equal.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Benjamin Provo, who worked at the musician’s Donda Academy in 2021, says he wants the judge to block Ye from making the claim he was of "unsound mind" when he was discriminating against Benjamin.

Benjamin claims Kanye is pulling this insanity defense card right before the case is scheduled to go to trial … and never once produced any documents or provided any testimony about the issue to this point. He says, even if it was relevant, Kanye had not turned over any medical records or selected an expert to testify about the impact of his mental health issues on the claims in the case.

A Las Vegas jury has found Duane "Keffe D" Davis guilty of murder in the first degree in the death of Tupac Shakur.

The jury returned its verdict Monday, convicting Davis of murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang. The 63-year-old now faces a possible maximum sentence of life in prison ... although he has already made it clear to the judge he plans to appeal the verdict.

Prosecutors never claimed Davis fired the fatal shots during the September 1996 drive by shooting. Instead, they argued he was the "shot caller" who handed the murder weapon to the gunman, believed to have been his nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, or another man riding in the back seat.

Aaliyah’s family fight over music royalties has heated up … with the late singer's cousin -- who was blamed for her death by her uncle -- seeking a $20 million payout in their ongoing litigation ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Jomo Hankerson, the late singer’s cousin, believes his father, Barry Hankerson, owes him the 8-figure sum over Aaliyah and other artists’ music.

Chris Brown claims he is not able to take time off from his tour with Usher to deal with the ongoing legal matters with his ex-housekeeper ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Chris said he can’t be forced to show up for an examination at the Van Nuys courthouse, where his ex-housekeeper Maria Avila wants to review his finances and bank statements to see how he will pay the judgment he owes her.

In his new filing, Chris said he’s a little busy with his nationwide tour … and said there are even talks to extend the tour with additional dates.
