Rumer Willis’ ex and baby daddy is firing back against Demi Moore's claim he's aggressive ... amid his and Rumer's ongoing custody battle over their 3-year-old, Louetta.

As we previously reported -- the 'Substance' star claimed in court docs that Derek Richard Thomas "appears to want to dictate and control Rumer’s environment" and has "absolutely no respect, care, concern, compassion or support toward anyone, especially Rumer and the baby."

But, in new legal docs, he says he's never behaved "aggressively or inappropriately" and claims Rumer "has launched a coordinated media attack across dozens of outlets" against him. He even flips the script and claims Rumer is the one exploiting their child in sponsored content that has "adult sexual humor," to which he says he never consented.

The woman who wrote California's survivor-protection law is calling out Blake Lively's legal strategy in her fight with Justin Baldoni ... saying the legislation was never intended to be used this way.

Watch the video ... Victoria Burke joined "The Megyn Kelly Show" Tuesday and explained why she believes Lively's use of the law goes beyond its original intent. She also details why she says it was never meant to block every defamation claim.

Burke wrote the law after learning she could be sued for defamation if she spoke publicly about her own sexual assault. She then spent more than a year researching lawsuits against survivors before taking the proposal to lawmakers.

Martin Scorsese is all-in on artificial intelligence ... joining forces with A.I. company Black Forest Labs as an advisor ... and film fans are NOT happy.

The famed director announced Tuesday he will be using the company's tech to help create storyboards ... and some folks say they're feeling let down that he's embracing A.I. into the creative process.

Black Forest Labs shared a video from a storyboarding session they had with Martin ... where the filmmaker described his vision, and they used A.I. to create the scene.

A director who worked with Val Kilmer says it's no conspiracy ... Val was the absolute worst person he's ever known.

"Conspiracy" director Adam Marcus unloaded on Val in a series of since-deleted social media posts, according to Entertainment Weekly, calling him a "putz" and saying he had no problem speaking ill of the dead.

Adam said of Val ... "Worst human being I’ve ever known… and that is really saying something."

The director clearly expected some backlash over his comments, saying ... "And to any of you rolling your eyes because of the whole ‘don’t speak ill of the dead bulls***,’ f*** that. [If] this guy did one-tenth of what he did on my set today, he would have been cancelled in a blink."

Tom Holland is opening up about his battle with booze ... he says he knew it was time to quit when alcohol started impacting both his personal life and career.

The British actor got candid on Amy Poehler's "Good Hang" podcast ... explaining that after deciding to quit drinking in January 2022, the first year of sobriety was easily the toughest challenge he'd ever faced.

Actor Owain Rhys Davies -- best known for his role as Agent Wilson in "Twin Peaks," has died under mysterious circumstances, according to his family.

Davies passed away "suddenly, naturally, and peacefully," but there are "questions that remain unanswered regarding the circumstances of his death," his brother, Rhodri, wrote Sunday on Instagram.

Davies played Agent Wilson in the 2017 reboot of David Lynch's famous "Twin Peaks" TV series from the 1990s. He also landed a role in the Netflix science fiction drama, "The OA," as well as parts in several movies, including "Alice Through The Looking Glass," and "A Serial Killer's Guide To Life."

Samuel Monroe Jr. remains hospitalized in Los Angeles on life support with his health rapidly declining ... and his family is getting close to making some extremely difficult decisions.

Samuel's wife, Shawna Stewart, tells TMZ ... a recent CT scan showed the actor is suffering from encephalopathy and his brain tissue is deteriorating due to all his severe ailments.

Because Samuel's immune system is so weak, we're told he's in a negative pressure room -- a quarantine location -- and he currently has a regimen consisting of 6 antibiotics.

Shawna tells us ... she's the power of attorney and she has to consider his quality of life. She says her husband is a fighter and she's praying for his recovery, but no decision has been made on where to go from here.

Justin Baldoni's future may not be behind the camera or in front of one ... it might just be at a podium.

We got Justin's attorney, Bryan Freedman, outside a New York courthouse Monday ahead of arguments in the latest dispute stemming from their legal war with Blake Lively ... and Freedman suggested Justin could eventually become an advocate for people who say they've been falsely accused.

Freedman tells us Justin will be back to work soon in some fashion ... either in Hollywood, or as a voice for folks "who have been wrongfully accused of something and really beaten up by a power dynamic."

Jenny Mollen is catching flak on social media for a bizarre caption on some pics with her son ... in it, she mentions a toxic dating relationship with a son, but it sounds like this was a poor attempt at humor.
