Na'im Lynn is sticking up for Kevin Hart amid the fallout from Tony Hinchcliffe's controversial roast jokes ... saying people are coming after the wrong guy.

We caught up with Na'im at LAX Thursday, and he told us critics upset that Kevin didn't publicly reprimand Tony during the roast should be directing that energy at Tony himself ... adding if you're gonna make a racial joke, it better be funny -- and Tony's joke absolutely wasn't.

As we reported, Hinchcliffe faced major backlash from fellow comics and George Floyd's family after making a joke about Floyd, along with cracks about lynching and the late husband of comedian Sheryl Underwood.

Mackenzie Shirilla's taking her conviction to the highest court in Ohio ... asking the state's supreme court to take another look at her double murder rap.

Shirilla's lawyers filed the appeal paperwork back in April, according to reports ... “there is medical evidence” that Shirilla “suffered from a pre-existing medical condition that could have caused her to black out while driving.”

The appeal claims her attorney didn't properly investigate this possibility initially.

In early July of 2022, Mackenzie texts Dom saying she recently had one of the worst blackouts she's had ... adding she's "scared it's just gonna get worse."

According to text messages between Mackenzie and Dominic -- released by law enforcement -- Mackenzie says she believed Dominic was trying to harm her during a heated argument between the two. Investigators claimed Mackenzie and Dom got into it while she was driving erratically, just weeks before the fatal crash.

In the Netflix documentary "The Crash," investigators detail an incident that occurred just weeks before the fatal crash, explaining allegations on both ends, with Dom's family claiming he had been in contact with his mom and has asked her to come help him while Mackenzie was driving.

Kat Crowder, who says she spent six months in prison with Shirilla, tells TMZ Mackenzie got crafty with an arts kit -- making jewelry, including nose rings, bracelets, and custom shoes ... claiming Mackenzie told people if they wanted something, they could pay up via Cash App.
