A young woman in Brazil lost her life during a bungee-jumping excursion after authorities say critical safety procedures may have been missed before the jump.

Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas, 21, died Saturday after plunging from a bridge in Limeira, a city in São Paulo state, according to multiple Brazilian media reports.

Video circulating online appears to show staff members escorting Freitas to the edge of the structure -- known locally as Skeleton Bridge -- before she was sent over the side. Moments later, people at the scene reportedly realized something was wrong.

Jeff argued that Karmelo shouldn't have been able to graduate because he says the school handbook allegedly declares murder to be grounds for "mandatory expulsion."

Ashlee Jenae's fiancé is turning his pain into purpose ... Joe McCann tells us he's begun the process of setting up a foundation in Ashlee's honor.

A tarp still covers the lettering on the front of the structure, but it should read "The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts" again.

6/13 -- 4:15 AM PT -- The original deadline to remove Donald Trump's name from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. has passed ... but on early Saturday, workers officially began dismantling the highly-debated letters.

But, as you can see ... the crew hung a massive white tarp from the building, so it's unclear how much progress has been made.

The court-ordered deadline was Friday, but the Kennedy Center asked a judge to extend the deadline until noon ET Saturday, citing thunderstorms causing a delay, AP reported. The work is expected to wrap up Saturday morning.

Thailand's Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol is dead after spending 3 years in a coma.

Bajrakitiyabha, also known as "Princess Bha," died on Thursday at a hospital in Bangkok ... according to the Bureau of the Royal Household.

She was originally hospitalized in December 2022 after she fell unconscious due to an illness while training dogs. The palace said Bajrakitiyabha had a mycoplasma infection, per the Associated Press.
