A sailor who jumped off the USS Abraham Lincoln in an apparent suicide attempt is now being disciplined by the Navy.

Citing court records and the sailor's wife, MS NOW says the Navy is punishing the sailor for violating 2 articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

The outlet reports the sailor allegedly ran afoul of Article 83, which states that a service member intentionally fakes an illness or hurts themselves to avoid work, duty, or service. He also allegedly violated Article 86, which means that a service member failed to be at their required place of duty without proper authority. 

The sailor's wife told MS NOW, "I think they're insane for doing this to people who need mental help ... Instead of giving them help, this is just another huge stressor."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is being accused of lying to the United States Senate ... because, while he said during his confirmation hearing his trip to Samoa wasn't about vaccines, letters he apparently wrote appear to say otherwise.

Here's the deal ... the Guardian and the Associated Press obtained letters RFK Jr. wrote to Tuilaʻepa Saʻilele Malielegaoi -- the then-Prime Minister of Samoa -- in 2019 on behalf of the Children's Health Defense, the anti-vax organization RFK Jr. was part of.

In one letter to the PM, RFK Jr. mentioned vaccines eight times, including writing that he wanted to study "deaths associated with MMR vaccine" in the country and offering to perform a "detailed health informatics assessment" in Samoa about what happened with the MMR vaccine, which killed two kids. Improperly mixed doses were administered, and two nurses later pled guilty to manslaughter.

This wouldn't necessarily be an issue ... except during RFK Jr.'s Senate Confirmation Hearings to become the Secretary of Health and Human Services, he repeatedly denied his trip had anything to do with vaccines.

The NFL is checking to see if Jed York's prostitution arrest has violated their conduct policy.

Commissioner Roger Goodell said at the owners' meeting in Atlanta Wednesday that the League is looking into it.

Surrogate McKenna West is asking a Texas judge to issue an order blocking the biological parents from interfering with her caring for their kid ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, McKenna opposes Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed's request to be named the conservators of the child they named "Rumi" but who she calls "Gabriel" ... instead, McKenna insists that she be appointed the sole managing conservator of the child.

The newborn is currently being cared for by Nausheen and Omar after a judge granted them temporary custody ... and the baby boy is in critical condition after emergency heart surgery following his August 12 birth.

If this West Virginia man thought reverse psychology would throw cops off his scent, he was mistaken ... because a dude who allegedly went by the name "MrChildPorn" online was arrested for possession of child porn.

Garrett Michael Highlander -- a 20-year-old from Morgantown -- was arrested last week and charged with possession of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

West Virginia State Police allege Highlander used the names "MrChildPorn" and "MrToxix" online and bragged about a large cache of child porn ... and they say he allegedly used Discord to share child porn images.

The "Chucky" mask-wearing freak busted by federal U.S. Marshals in Nevada didn't go down without a fight -- dropping f-bombs on law enforcement and resisting arrest, TMZ has learned. 

A rep for the U.S. Marshals Service tells TMZ ... Zymire Hughes, the man law enforcement says donned a Chucky-style mask and terrorized people in Philadelphia, got mad when he was rounded up Tuesday night and mouthed off to the feds.

Bryan Kohberger will get his day in court again ... because a judge has set two court hearings in response to the convicted killer wanting to withdraw his guilty plea.

Judge Steven Hippler -- the very same judge who accepted Kohberger's guilty plea last year -- set a status conference in the matter for June 3, 2027, and an evidentiary hearing on June 17.

Prosecutors asked the judge to dismiss Kohberger's filing without a hearing ... but they didn't get their wish.

A gargantuan wall of water enveloped a heavily trafficked area of Nepal ... killing at least 31 people ... as hundreds of others are missing in villages, and there are now fears the death toll could skyrocket.

A federal judge has struck down the 2023 Texas drag ban ... and his decision cites the late, great Dolly Parton.

U.S. District Judge David Hittner ruled Texas Senate Bill 12 -- which could charge drag performers with a misdemeanor and jail time and fine businesses up to $10K -- improperly restricts speech and violates the First Amendment.

He says the law's definition of overly provocative performances is too vague, using Dolly as an example.

Hittner says the late legend's shows could have fallen under the broad ruling because people criticized her "as a voluptuous sex symbol because of her big hair, flamboyant clothes and breast exposure."

A Florida man was arrested for allegedly pouring methamphetamine into a 1-year-old child's sippy cup ... and the child ingested the drugs, overdosed, and was taken to a hospital in critical condition ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We're told the alleged incident went down in February, and doctors treated the child, who survived and was then placed in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families.

46-year-old Mark Windham was arrested Saturday and charged with child neglect causing great bodily harm and possession of drug paraphernalia with residue ... the Nassau County Sheriff's Office announced.

The massive settlement resolves claims from a major case alleging Meta designed Facebook and IG to addict children and fueled a mental health crisis that reached all corners of the nation.

In addition to shelling out $16.7 billion to California and 28 other states, Mark Zuckerberg's company agreed to create "daily limits and blocks on nighttime use for teenage users" ... plus "enhanced age assurance measures to prevent children from accessing the platform, or age restricted content available on the platform" ... according to court filings.

A Rutgers University dean seemingly graduated from Biological Sciences to a degree in perversion ... because prosecutors say he was caught filming upskirt videos.

The New Jersey Office of the Attorney General said Tuesday that Joshua Kohut, the dean of research at Rutgers' School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, was hit with a single charge of invasion of privacy for allegedly shooting his videos with a cell phone camera.  

Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said Kohut used his "mobile phone to record 'upskirt' videos without his victim's knowledge."

Emilie Kiser‘s 3-year-old son, Trigg, died from lack of oxygen to his brain following his drowning.

The Maricopa County medical examiner’s report, obtained by PEOPLE, lists the cause of death specifically as anoxic brain injury due to drowning ... with the manner ruled as an accident.

As we reported, Trigg died on May 18, 2025 ... 6 days after he was hospitalized after his father, Brady Kiser, found him in their backyard pool in Arizona. Brady was watching Trigg and their now 17-month-old son, Teddy, while Emilie was out with friends and lost track of Trigg.
