A picture of Mike McDaniel doing a victory lap in Bills Mafia's faces after Sunday's game is making rounds on social media ... and while there's a debate over whether it's legit or A.I. -- the Miami Dolphins head coach is remaining tight-lipped on the matter.

The 42-year-old met with the media on Monday to discuss the Fins' massive upset over Buffalo ... and the first question from reporters was whether he really drove by the Elbo Room -- a famous spot for Bills backers -- to gloat after the contest.

"That's why I like the good old days, you know?" McDaniel said. "The throwbacks of yore, where you could trust the internet and the images because it is pretty detailed -- I do live in the area ... but I mean, A.I., right?"

Rob Gronkowski is finally getting around to filing his retirement papers -- the superstar tight end is signing a one-day contract with the New England Patriots to officially end his Hall of Fame career.

The organization confirmed the news Monday morning ... saying Gronk will sign an honorary deal to ride off into the sunset as a member of the Patriots.

Gronk is one of the greatest to ever play the position -- he had 621 catches for 9,286 yards and 92 touchdowns over the course of 11 seasons ... nine in New England and two with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

President Donald Trump got a rough welcome at the Commanders stadium after flying in on Air Force One ... the crowd loudly booed him as soon as he popped up on the jumbotron.

Trump became the first sitting POTUS in nearly half a century to attend a regular season NFL game as the Detroit Lions visited the Commanders in Landover, Maryland Sunday ... but, that fun historical fact didn't impress fans.

A chorus of boos rang out when he was shown in the first half ... and later when the announcer introduced him by name at halftime and while he read an oath for military family members to recite during a game break. The reading was part of an enlistment ceremony no doubt tainted by the jeers.

Former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue reportedly died Sunday morning in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, his death followed a battle with Parkinson's disease. Schefter reports the apparent cause of death was heart failure complicated by the disease.

Tagliabue, a lawyer from Georgetown University, became commissioner of the NFL in 1989 and reigned until September 1, 2006. Under his leadership, the league expanded not only in popularity but in sheer number of teams.

A month after Mark Sanchez was involved in a near-fatal fight while in Indianapolis to call an NFL game for FOX, the company has handed the quarterback-turned-broadcaster his pink slip, TMZ Sports has learned.

A FOX Sports spokesperson tells us ... "We can confirm that Mark Sanchez is no longer with the network. There will be no further comment at this time."

We broke the story in early October -- Sanchez, in town to call the Colts vs. Raiders football game, was involved in a bizarre altercation where he allegedly attacked a 69-year-old delivery driver ... prompting the man to stab Mark in self-defense, nearly killing him.

Antonio Brown Appears In NJ Court ... For Attempted Murder W/ Deadly Weapon Charge

Antonio Brown stood before a judge in New Jersey on Friday morning -- his first appearance in his attempted murder case -- where the former NFL superstar agreed to be transferred to Florida, where he'll fight the felony charge.

Officials for the Essex County Prosecutors' Office tell TMZ Sports that 37-year-old Brown appeared before Judge Barry earlier today and "executed a waiver of extradition," meaning he won't fight being shipped to Miami, the location of the incident that led to the charge.

Dak Prescott opened up on the death of his teammate, Marshawn Kneeland, on Thursday ... saying he wishes the 24-year-old "didn't have to go through what he went through."

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback addressed the tragedy at a field dedication ceremony at his alma mater, Haughton High School in Louisiana ... admitting it was a "very tough day" for him.

"Tragic loss," Prescott said. "I hurt. Heavy, heavy heart today. I hurt for Marshawn, I hurt for his family, I hurt for his girlfriend. I hurt for every single one of my teammates. It's just a pain that you don't wish upon anybody. You wish none of us had to go through this."

Antonio Brown In Custody For Attempted Murder ... Mug Shot Released

3:10 PM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained Antonio Brown's mug shot ... showing the Super Bowl champ sporting a track jacket and buzzed haircut.

Antonio Brown is under arrest and back in the United States ... about six months after the former NFL superstar was accused of trying to shoot and kill a man at an Adin Ross boxing event in Florida.

TMZ Sports is told 37-year-old AB was extradited this week, with United Arab Emirates authorities shipping the retired wideout back to the States from Dubai, where he was allegedly attempting to evade the reach of the American legal system.

We're told Brown was accompanied by federal agents to the New York Metropolitan Area, where he was turned over to local police. He is scheduled to be sent back to South Florida, where the incident went down.
