The fake 49ers player Daejon Love may have had the cars, cash and big talk ... but one woman says his story fell apart with a simple roster check.

A woman named Cara joined us Monday on "TMZ Live" ... telling us she looked Love up early on and quickly realized his name wasn't anywhere on the San Francisco 49ers roster.

When she questioned him about it, Cara says Love fired back with a five-minute voice message breaking down NFL contracts ... claiming a thumb injury prevented him from passing the medical portion of his deal, so he couldn't appear on the official roster even though he was supposedly still with the team.

Fake 49er Daejon Love allegedly had his hand out years before his arrest ... with two women suing him over thousands in unpaid loans.

Court records obtained by TMZ show Love was sued twice in small-claims court in Sacramento County -- once in 2020 and again in 2021.

In the first case, Olivia Datu claimed Love borrowed $4,900 from her over the course of several weeks ... including $1,200 for a credit card payment and $3,700 for work on a Dodge vehicle.

The alleged fake 49ers player went all-out selling his supposed millionaire lifestyle ... and TMZ has obtained videos showing Daejon Love flashing cash, jewelry, luxury cars and what he claimed were multimillion-dollar homes.

A woman who says Love tried to scam her tells TMZ ... she met him on Facebook Dating ... and says he spent nearly two years trying to convince her he came from generational wealth and was looking for a "genetically superior" woman to start a family with.

Love's pitch eventually turned into some pricey pillow talk ... because in another video filmed from bed, he tells the woman he spoke with his financial adviser about opening an investment account for her.

Aaron Donald is officially back in the NFL ... and the Los Angeles Rams just assembled a defensive nightmare by pairing him with Myles Garrett.

Donald is coming out of retirement and rejoining the Rams on a one-year, $20 million deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The move ends months of speculation surrounding the future Hall of Famer ... and gives L.A. one helluva pass-rushing duo after the Rams landed Garrett in a blockbuster trade with Cleveland earlier this summer.

Josh Jacobs has been sidelined by the NFL amid his criminal case ... TMZ Sports has learned the league placed the Packers star running back on the Commissioner's Exempt List.

We're told by the NFL Jacobs may not practice or attend games while he's on the list.

The league tells us Jacobs can, however, be permitted at the Packers' facility on a limited basis -- with the club's permission -- for meetings, individual workouts, therapy and rehab, along with other approved non-football activities.

A 20-year-old San Diego State student says the alleged fake 49ers player tried sweeping her into an "NFL wife" lifestyle ... until she started checking his story, TMZ has learned.

The student tells TMZ ... she met Daejon Love at Cheetahs strip club in San Diego in April, where he told her he played in the NFL. She says Love kept reaching out afterward ... talking Lamborghinis, NFL training and even asking how much she paid in bills, implying he could take care of them.

TMZ has obtained exclusive video of Love from around that time ... including clips of him talking on camera and flashing the kind of lifestyle she says helped sell his NFL story.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was arrested early Sunday morning in Indianapolis ... after cops accused the veteran NFL star of driving while intoxicated.

According to jail records, Allen, 34, was booked on charges of OWI while endangering another person, as well as DWI with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or higher early Sunday morning. Both offenses are listed as misdemeanors.

A rep for Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department tells TMZ ... shortly after 1:00 AM, IMPD officers conducted a traffic investigation in the 100 block of S. Meridian Street after observing a vehicle park in a no-parking zone.

The clip adds another bizarre layer to the case against Love ... who federal prosecutors accuse of posing as a San Francisco 49ers player while allegedly scamming women out of more than $1 million.

A woman claiming to be the last victim of alleged fake 49ers player Daejon Love says she was still wrapped up with him right until the day the FBI arrested him ... and she's flashing what she says are receipts.

The woman posted a TikTok saying she was Love's "last victim" through August 24 -- the same day federal authorities say Love was busted at Boise Airport with his alleged accomplice, Taylor Chan.

Her video shows what she claims was their relationship ... including fishing trips, travel, shopping, a Corvette and a diamond ring she appears to suggest Love got for her.

Jed York was NOT kicked to the curb by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group over his prostitution-related arrest, despite a report to the contrary ... at least according to the organization.

Here's the deal ... a story published Thursday claimed the San Francisco 49ers owner was removed as acting chairman at SVLG after his embarrassing arrest in Ohio.

However, a rep for SVLG tells TMZ ... the story tying York's leadership change to the bust is "false and misleading" ... saying the group's next Board Chair had already been chosen weeks before York's arrest.

The rep says the group's Executive Board unanimously voted August 11 to select Nutanix President Tarkan Maner as its next Board Chair ... after a collaborative process that wrapped earlier this summer.

Two scam artists -- one posing as a San Francisco 49ers player -- cheated 26 women out of $1.3 million as part of an investment scheme ... according to federal authorities, who have now arrested and charged them with serious crimes.

Federal prosecutors in Portland, Oregon, charged Daejon Labrayae Love, 35, and Taylor Jamie Chan, 18, with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud. The FBI arrested Love and Chan at Boise Airport in Idaho on August 24 after prosecutors said the suspects flew in to "meet new victims."

According to the feds, Love and Chan kicked off their scam in February 2022, creating fake investments to steal money from women in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California.

Love allegedly connected with the women over the Internet and on dating apps, passing himself off as a wealthy investor and NFL player, and introduced them to Chan. Authorities say Love told the victims Chan was his financial adviser to gain their trust and show that he was a serious businessman -- part of a scam that saw him empty their bank accounts.

Tony Romo is owning up to that OWI bust in the wake of his 3 new citations ... and in talks with CBS about potentially returning to his job, TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson tells TMZ ... "Tony accepts full responsibility for his actions and has taken proactive steps to ensure that this isolated civil matter is properly resolved."

They also tell us ... "We are working with local authorities to bring this matter to a close and we are communicating with CBS about next steps."

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was charged with battery and criminal damage to property after his ex accused him of attacking her ... TMZ has learned.

Court docs obtained by TMZ show Wisconsin prosecutors hit Josh with two misdemeanor charges stemming from his May 23 arrest.

The paperwork revealed details from the arrest ... cops went to a home after getting a report for a disturbance between a man and a woman and were told by a man at the house that Josh's girlfriend was involved in the incident. Cops say they caught up with the girlfriend at a neighbor's house, and she told them she had a lump on her head due to Josh.

Miles Sanders, a veteran NFL running back, was arrested in Pennsylvania and hit with a DUI charge ... TMZ has confirmed.

Sanders, who is currently a free agent, was charged last week with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and careless driving ... according to court records obtained by TMZ.

He was arrested June 8 in Churchill Borough outside of Pittsburgh ... near where he grew up.
