Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband Brandon Blackstock has died ... but his daughter is bringing a new bundle of joy into this world.

Savannah Blackstock Lee jumped on Instagram in July and announced she's preggers with her second kid by way of her husband, Quentin Lee ... and as you know, Brandon passed away Thursday -- weeks after her post -- following a long battle with melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer.

Savannah -- the daughter of Brandon's other ex-wife, Melissa Ashworth -- wrote she and Quentin had been "keeping a couple of sweet surprises."

The viral video apparently showing Troy Ave fending off a mugger won't result in further legal action ... 'cause the cops appear to be confirming the clip is fake.

A rep for the San Diego County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... the alleged incident was "not substantiated" -- and, the authorities have closed the case.

Translation ... the video was all a hoax -- which might not be a crime, but certainly won't do any favors for Troy's image.

Cassie's back on social media after a few months away ... sharing a funny post about postpartum depression in her first social media post since giving birth.

The singer-songwriter shared a meme about the common affliction Thursday ... where a person starts and stops dancing a few times.

The caption reads, "When your old self slowly starts coming out postpartum" -- basically saying it doesn't mean she's always happy and dancing but she's certainly feeling more like herself each day. Cassie added, "Little by little lol" to the pic.

Kelly Clarkson is putting her Las Vegas residency on ice again ... because her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, is sick.

The singer jumped on Instagram Wednesday night and posted this message, “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them." Clarkson did not reveal Blackstock's specific illness.

Kelly was married to Blackstock from 2013 to 2022 before they got divorced. They share 2 kids — River, 10, and Remington, 8.

Yanin Campos -- a former "MasterChef México" contestant who gained recognition via social media -- has died ... according to her brother.

Raúl Campos announced the news on Facebook earlier this week ... sharing details of the memorial's time and place to the social media page for friends and family.

El Financiero -- a daily newspaper in Mexico -- reports Campos was driving in Chihuahua, Mexico just after 6 AM on Saturday morning when she apparently collided with a parked car.
