The guy who interviewed Jerry Sandusky in prison actually believes the disgraced Penn State coach is not guilty of raping victim #2 in a locker room shower-- and he loudly and passionately stated his case on TMZ Live.

John Ziegler -- who is making a documentary he hopes will clear Joe Paterno's name -- claims the boy, known as "accuser #2" in court docs, told authorities on numerous occasions he was not molested by Sandusky ... and only changed his story years later.

Ziegler was talking about the incident when Mike McQueary says he witnessed Sandusky raping the boy in a Penn State locker room shower.

Most shocking was Ziegler's claim the victim was really 14, and not 10. You have to see him explain why that makes any difference.

Ray J still has no idea why Bad Azz attacked him last night -- telling TMZ Live, he thought the two settled their beef a LONG time ago ... but from here on out he just wants peace.

As we first reported, Bad Azz said he used to be friends with Ray ... but that ended in a blood feud after Ray J told Suge Knight that BA had been trash-talking him, and Suge's people jumped him.

BA didn't say why he felt compelled to attack Ray ... and Ray doesn't know either, saying the fight completely blindsided him.

Ray said he had to defend himself, but he wants the fighting to end once and for all -- telling us, "I don't want this to get any crazier."

We got the first look at Lil Wayne since his 6 days in ICU, and it's a freakin' miracle -- 'cause Weezy looks great! He says he feels great too ... but it's what he DIDN'T say that's raising concerns.

Charlie Sheen is now explaining why he was so pissed off today ... telling TMZ Live, a couple of lackeys supporting his daughter Sam's former private school left a threatening note and a knife jammed into a tree outside his daughters' home.

As we reported, Sheen posted another angry rant on his Twitter today, claiming some spineless "doosh bagz" connected with L.A.'s expensive Viewpoint School had terrorized his ex-wife Denise Richards and their 2 girls.

Charlie called in to TMZ Live ... saying his daughters "had the pleasure of discovering a steak knife used to nail a note to the tree." Charlie says the note contained a threat directed at his family.

Charlie says two people were captured on surveillance tape committing the deed -- and he's contacted police.

Charlie also modified his initial call to arms -- in which he called on his fans to smear dog crap on the Viewpoint School -- saying it was "metaphoric."
