Pope Leo XIV and Donald Trump have been going at it this week ... and now cops say His Holiness' brother may have found himself caught in the crosshairs.
On Wednesday, the New Lenox Police Department in Illinois said officers responded to a "reported bomb threat" directed at a residence on Sojourn Road ... reportedly the home of the Chicago Pope's brother, Louis Prevost.

The cops say they evacuated the neighborhood and called in an explosives K9 unit ... but nothing turned up and they dubbed the threat "unsubstantiated."
According to Chicago Tribune, New Lenox Police Chief Micah Nuesse said the investigation into the incident remains "active and ongoing."
Congressman Dan Meuser made some solid points in the beef between Donald Trump and Pope Leo ... and the Rep. from Pennsylvania is pretty much Team Trump.
Charlie asked him squarely -- who does he ride with -- and Meuser didn't hold back. On foreign policy, he thinks the Pope had a narrow view of peace when he condemned the war in Iran. He says there's virtue in peace through strength, and worries what would have happened in WWII if everyone followed the Pope's philosophy.
Meuser also felt it was curious the Pope wasn't condemning the atrocities in Iran, where leaders slaughtered tens of thousands of their own people.

Senator Pete Ricketts, by contrast, was crickets when it came to taking a side. He's aware of the beef, but he doesn't want to be forced to choose -- he says it's like having to choose between your mother and your father.
President Donald Trumpis done with one of his most ardent supporters Riley Gaines, after she dared to criticize him for posting an A.I. image of himself looking like Jesus Christ.
Here's the deal ... Gaines, a former NCAA swimmer and current anti-trans activist, posted a message on X, asking Trump to show a "little humility" and refrain from mocking God.
That, of course, pissed off the Commander-in-Chief, who went after Gaines -- after he deleted the controversial image due to mounting pressure from his base and from Catholics, who saw the photo as blasphemous.
As you can see, the image depicts Trump in a Jesus-like robe, putting one hand on the forehead of a sick man in a hospital bed while a divine light shines in his other hand.
Rep. Johnathan Jackson is firmly in Pope Leo's corner amid a recent beef with President Trump ... and he's reminding POTUS he's not God.
A photog got the Congressman from Illinois arriving in Washington D.C. Monday after Congress' two-week paid vacation and asked him about Trump's attacks on the Pope.
Jackson, the son of the late Reverend Jesse Jackson, says Pope Leo is not to be messed with, and Trump needs to be reigned in.
Trump vs. the Pope -- it's all the buzz in D.C., but asking a Republican Senator whose side he or she is on is a Sophie's Choice no one wants to make.
In response to a personal attack by President Donald Trump the night before, Pope Leo told journalists on the papal plane to Algeria:
“I have no fear of the Trump administration or speaking out loudly of the message of the Gospel, which is what I believe I am here to do, what… pic.twitter.com/zV6FuacGSM@catholicourtney
Enter Senator Ted Cruz. Charlie wanted to know who he rides with, but Cruz wouldn't weigh in, no matter how many different ways he was asked.
He was way more receptive to the scandal of now-former Congressman Eric Swalwell. The word in D.C. is that the allegations were an open secret in the House for a long time ... but no one uttered a public peep until the media broke the story.
President Donald Trump isn't the only one who can use A.I. ... California Governor Gavin Newsom just savagely trolled the president with a photo portraying DT as the Grim Reaper, with an old friend looking over his shoulder.
Newsom's brutal slam follows Trump sharing an A.I.-generated image of himself resembling Jesus on Sunday after criticizing Pope Leo XIV as "weak."
In response, Newsom posted a dark image of Trump in a black cloak, with his skeletal hand gripping a scythe as Jeffrey Epstein hovers just behind him.
Pope Leo XIV is not taking any crap from President Donald Trump ... firing back at DJT's nasty Truth Social post that slammed the Pontiff for his perceived liberal-leaning views on crime and foreign policy.
Leo was speaking with journalists aboard the papal plane en route to Algeria Monday when he was asked about Trump's verbal attacks on what the Commander-in-Chief sees as the Pope's "Radical Left" beliefs.
Check out video of Leo's response ... he calmly tells reporters he has "no fear of the Trump administration or speaking out loudly of the message of the Gospel, which is what I believe I am here to do, what the Church is here to do."
Leo added he and his Catholic church cronies are not politicians and "don’t deal with foreign policy with the same perspective" as Trump. He went on to say he believes "in the message of the Gospel, as a peacemaker.”
As you know, Trump went scorched earth on Leo Sunday night, writing on Truth Social that the Pope is "WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy," citing his liberal views. And that was only the beginning of his tirade ... Trump's message got a lot uglier from that point on.
Not even Pope Leo can escape the wrath of President Trump, who excoriated the Holy Father for his views on crime and foreign policy — and a bunch of other stuff, too!
Trump posted a long-winded message on Truth Social Sunday night, kicking things off by slamming Leo for being "WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy."
Trump is also pissed at The Pontiff for criticizing him over bombing the hell out of Iran and sparking a war between the 2 countries with the help of Israel. Over the weekend, Leo implied that a "delusion of omnipotence" is behind the U.S.-Israel war against Iran.
Vice President J.D. Vance may need some divine intervention to help him on his next task ... saying he'd like to speak to the principals allegedly involved in a confrontation between the U.S. and the Vatican.
Here's the deal ... The Free Press put out a report earlier this week -- citing unnamed Vatican officials -- about a January meeting between U.S. Department of War officials and Cardinal Christophe Pierre, the Vatican's ambassador to the U.S. at the time.
Officials at the time allegedly told Pierre the Catholic Church should get on board with the Trump administration's war tactics.
