We caught up with Ella in Los Angeles, where she was quick to shut down the narrative forming around Melanie after social media users circulated throwback images ... attempting to draw comparisons between her past modeling work and her behavior on the show.

The online chatter has quickly spiraled into a broader conversation about body image, reality TV pressure, and beauty standards, suggesting her confidence issues may stem from her earlier career ... but Ella is quick to bury that narrative into the ground.

TMZ obtained audio of the "Doubling Down With the Derricos" star having a heated phone conversation with some of her 14 children ... and at one point, a child says, "No wonder why you said you were going to kill me."

Karen denies that, and tries to correct the kid, saying ... "I said I'll kill you if you piss me off ... because you're disrespecting me because your little behind is enabled."

The intense conversation came to light after Karen was arrested and charged with harassment, violating a restraining order, preventing a witness from testifying through threat of violence, and aggravated stalking.

Millie Bobby Brown wasn't just saying goodbye to "Stranger Things" -- she was making sure she wasn't losing her TV family too.

The official cause of death for "The Wire" star Bobby J. Brown has been revealed ... and it lines up exactly with what his daughter told us.

Brown died back in February in a barn fire ... and now TMZ has confirmed with the Maryland Medical Examiner that Brown's cause of death was ruled as diffuse thermal injury and smoke inhalation. His manner of death was determined to be an accident.

That statement is now what is officially on record as Brown's cause of death.

"The Real Housewives of Miami" star Lisa Hochstein is no longer being criminally prosecuted for allegedly spying on her ex-husband Dr. Lenny Hochstein during their nasty divorce.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, a counselor for Miami-Dade County's Advocate Program -- a pretrial diversion program -- informed prosecutors Lisa completed all requirements of the program she entered in connection with her felony communications interception charge.

The filing states Lisa was referred to the program on May 15 and has now satisfied all program requirements. The counselor specifically requested the case be dismissed following her successful completion of the program.

The state announced in open court Monday the charges are dropped as a result of them completing the program.
