Milania Giudice's sense of humor wasn't dampened by the handcuffs on her wrists or her surroundings in the back of a cop car ... because she still managed to laugh at something during her assault arrest ... and it's all on video.

The Montville Township Police Department on Friday released footage from Milania's May arrest in New Jersey ... she's in the back of a squad car, with her hands cuffed behind her back when all of a sudden she smiles wide and laughs.

The door is open and the officers are standing just outside ... and Milania is talking to them with a grin and chuckle.

"TODAY" anchor Craig Melvin doesn't seem too rattled by Thursday's terrifying encounter with a studio intruder ... and while he says it's part of the "wacky" world we live in, he says he feels safe.

We got Craig as he was leaving 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Friday morning ... and he was cool as a cucumber as our photog asked about what happened when a man slipped past security and allegedly lunged at him and hurled a racial slur.

Craig tells us why the incident doesn't have him feeling unsafe ... chalking it up to "a lot of wacky out there."

Seems Craig's chilled out on this since Thursday's incident ... when he apparently told cops the intruder made him fear for his safety.

"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Miranda Hope's ex Chase McWhorter cut a plea deal with prosecutors in his DUI case ... and it looks like he's going to avoid jail time.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Chase pled guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI and, in exchange, prosecutors agreed to drop the other charges and recommend probation, community service, and a substance abuse evaluation, instead of jail time. The judge signed off on the deal.

Chase was ordered to pay a $1,383 fine, complete 48 hours of community service, and serve a year of probation.

Truelove's attorney, Lawrence Gerzog, tells TMZ ... the judge issued a protective order requiring Truelove to stay away from Al and Craig.

Craig briefly brought up the scary situation during Friday's broadcast, saying the man was "thankfully" apprehended quickly, and he and his colleagues are fully cooperating with the New York City Police Department as the investigation continues.

Check out the video ... Andrew Truelove, who police say is behind the incident, was led out of the station in handcuffs Thursday afternoon. As photographers shouted questions, he asked, "So, you actually heard about what I did?" before repeating the question and saying he'd been cooperative as officers escorted him away.

TMZ broke the story ... Truelove allegedly entered the building from the "TODAY" plaza Thursday morning and made his way into a restricted area after first asking staffers for Al Roker.

3:19 PM PT -- The man who allegedly stormed NBC's "TODAY" show offices, lunged at Craig Melvin and called him the N-word is now facing a slew of hate crime charges ... TMZ has learned.

11:05 AM PT -- NBC News' TODAY tells TMZ ... "There was a security incident this morning at the TODAY show studio. An individual entered an unauthorized area in a vestibule near Studio 1A. The person approached anchor Craig Melvin, who alerted security. The individual was detained and taken into custody by law enforcement without further incident. There was no altercation, and no one was injured."

They continue ... "TODAY is cooperating fully with law enforcement as they investigate the matter. NBC and TODAY take the safety and security of our employees, talent, staff and guests extremely seriously. We are reviewing the incident and our security protocols and remain committed to providing a safe and secure environment for everyone who works at and visits our studios."

A terrifying security breach rocked the "TODAY" show Thursday morning ... a stranger breached security and stormed inside the building from the plaza before allegedly lunging at NBC host Craig Melvin.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the man was asking for Al Roker after somehow slipping past security. We’re told he couldn't find Roker and turned his attention to confront Craig in a restricted area and allegedly lunged at him while yelling the N-word at him.

We’re told the incident happened around 9 AM ET and that staff and security rushed in -- and the intruder was ultimately detained and arrested. The man, who we're told is white and was unarmed, had entered a stairwell and made his way backstage -- we're told near the dressing room, though where exactly is unclear.

Taylor Frankie Paul DCFS Docs Allege Troubling Home Life, Therapy Issues

Taylor Frankie Paul's parenting, mental health, and home life are all being called into question by Utah's Department of Children and Family Services ... with allegations of troubling statements to caseworkers, concerns over her commitment to therapy, and parenting issues involving her children.

We broke the story ... according to a petition filed by Utah's DCFS and obtained by TMZ, the agency is asking a juvenile court to find Taylor's three children have been "abused, neglected or dependent."

According to that filing, Taylor told DCFS -- during a May 2026 home visit -- her life coach, Kari, was "the only reason she was still alive" and she wanted Kari to conduct her mental health and domestic violence assessments.

In its docs, DCFS claims it told Taylor that Kari wasn't qualified to do the assessments. During the same visit, the petition also says Taylor got upset after reading social media messages and stormed out of the home. DCFS claims she told caseworkers she wasn't suicidal, but they "should know who killed her if she ends up dead because she felt no one believes her."

The FCC is taking aim at Disney again ... this time reportedly going after one of the channel's most famous talk shows -- "The View."

According to Bloomberg, the Federal Communications Commission is planning to rule that the show doesn't count as a "bona fide" news program ... meaning it has to give equal time to candidates on both sides of the aisle.

This would be a sharp departure for "The View," which has benefited from an exception to the rule -- hosting more liberal than conservative political figures. They do interview Republicans occasionally ... recently sitting down with Vice President JD Vance.
