12:50 PM PT -- Vance Boelter appeared in federal court Monday afternoon, where his bail was set at $5 million. His next hearing is scheduled for June 27.

Vance Boelter -- the suspected killer of Minnesota State Senator Melissa Hortman and her husband -- allegedly went to the homes of four different politicians with the intent to kill them ... according to the state's top prosecutor.

Joseph Thompson, the Acting United States Attorney for the District of Minnesota, says Boelter made a bunch of stops early Saturday morning ... first going to the home of Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman in Chaplin, where he shot the politician and his wife before fleeing the scene. Boelter was posing as a police officer, wearing a uniform and driving a vehicle resembling a police SUV, authorities have said.

Thompson says Boelter then went to Maple Grove and rang the doorbell at the home of an unnamed State Representative's house ... but the lawmaker was NOT home as she was on vacation with her family.

Vance Boelter -- the suspected killer of Minnesota State Senator Melissa Hortman and her husband -- was captured by police Sunday night after a two-day manhunt.

Boelter -- who also shot and wounded another Minnesota lawmaker and his wife -- was arrested in rural Green Isle, Minn., after an eagle-eyed officer spotted him dashing into the woods, according to police.

A local resident's trail camera reportedly caught an image of Boelter lurking in the forest, and the photo alerted SWAT teams to go to the area. Cops say police used infrared technology during the nighttime search, as well as drones and helicopters.

2:51 PM PT -- Boelter's alleged vehicle -- a Buick sedan -- was just towed away from the scene ... and, now law enforcement is searching homes in the surrounding area.

Police have discovered a car they believe Vance Boelter -- the suspect in the shootings that left one Minnesota politician dead and another gravely injured -- was driving ... abandoned far from the scenes of the crimes.

The Sibley County Sheriff's Office told CNN ... they found the car they believe Boelter was driving about 50 miles southwest of the Twin Cities Sunday morning. The shootings occurred in Brooklyn Park and Champlin -- two suburbs of Minneapolis.

CBS reports that a discarded cowboy hat was found near the vehicle. Remember, a photo obtained by law enforcement yesterday showed Boelter in a Minneapolis business with a cowboy hat on. Unclear if this is the same one.

The best friend and roommate of suspected Minnesota gunman Vance Boelter says he received a haunting message from Boelter just hours after Saturday’s shocking shooting spree that left two people dead and two others wounded.

David Carlson told Minnesota news station KARE that around 6 AM Saturday -- shortly after former Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband were found shot to death, and Sen. John Hoffman and his wife were injured in another shooting -- Boelter sent him and another friend a disturbing farewell text.

"David and Ron, I love you guys. I made some choices, and you guys don’t know anything about this, but I’m going to be gone for a while. May be dead shortly, so I just want to let you know I love you guys both and I wish it hadn’t gone this way," he allegedly wrote.

Chaos broke out at a peaceful protest in Salt Lake City over the weekend when gunfire rang out during a "No Kings" demonstration, sending two people to the hospital and prompting a swift police response that led to three arrests.

According to Salt Lake City Police, officers heard shots Saturday night where a massive crowd of protesters had gathered. One person was critically injured in the shooting and rushed to a nearby hospital.

The suspected gunman, who had reportedly been walking with the crowd before the violence erupted, also sustained a gunshot wound and was taken into custody after officers tracked him down. He remains hospitalized.

The FBI is offering a hefty reward for any information that might help them catch Vance Boelter ... a suspect in the shootings of two Democratic lawmakers.

The law enforcement agency announced a $50K incentive for anyone that could help lead them "to the arrest and conviction of Vance L. Boelter."

While they're looking for information to help them capture Boelter, the FBI is clear ... citizens should call 911 immediately and shouldn't attempt to approach him.

Vance Boelter -- the man authorities say is a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a Minnesota politician -- has training from military personnel and experience with security situations in foreign countries.

A profile for Boelter on the Praetorian Guard Security Services website lists him as the Director of Security Patrols ... and, it describes his various experiences in the security field.

According to the site, Boelter has "been involved with security situations in Eastern Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East, including the West Bank, Southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip."

Police are looking for a 57-year-old man in connection to the shootings that left a Democratic lawmaker and her husband dead, and another politician and his wife hospitalized, TMZ can confirm.

Vance Luther Boelter is being sought, a source familiar with the investigation tells TMZ. Authorities released a picture of Boelter wearing a big cowboy hat they say was taken this morning at a business in the Twin Cities area.

As you know ... Representative Melissa Hortman and Senator John Hoffman -- both members of the Minnesota State Legislature -- were shot early Saturday morning.

The dispatch audio from just after the shooting of Democratic lawmakers Melissa Hortman and John Hoffman has been released.

TMZ has obtained the audio from minutes after Hortman -- the former Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives -- and Hoffman were shot ... and, in the case of Hoffman, first responders detail the extent of his and his wife injuries.

Listen to the audio for yourself ... Hoffman's wife was shot twice in the abdomen and once in the arm, paramedics say.

10:55 AM PT -- The hit list found in the Minnesota suspect’s car contained nearly 70 names. A law enforcement official told CNN the names included abortion providers, pro-abortion rights advocates and lawmakers in Minnesota and other states.

The official added law enforcement also found a Father's Day card addressed to the suspect in a bag full of ammunition.

The suspect on the run for the shooting death of Minnesota's Democrat State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband reportedly wanted to slaughter even more lawmakers.

The gunman's manifesto was found in the SUV he drove to the Hortman residence before their murders, according to NewsNation's Brian Entin -- and the suspect had written down "names of many lawmakers and other officials."

Atlanta rapper Silentó, of "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" fame has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in the 2021 shooting death of his cousin.

The DeKalb County District Attorney announced on Wednesday that the 27-year-old rapper, born Ricky Lamar Hawk, pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, as well as concealing the death of another -- Frederick Rooks III.

As we told you, DeKalb County Police found Rooks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, with bullet casings at the scene.

11:00 AM PT -- Las Vegas detectives identified Manuel Ruiz as the suspect. Ruiz walked into a Henderson police station and turned himself in on June 9, 2025. He was taken into custody and will be booked into the Clark County Detention Center for two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon.

The famous Las Vegas Strip turned into a double-murder scene Sunday ... after a gunman went on a rampage, fatally shooting two people in front of a crowd of stunned tourists.

Even more shocking ... the shooting was live-streamed on a YouTube channel as the violence was unfolding on the sidewalk outside the Bellagio Hotel.
