R&B legend Freddie Jackson -- the powerhouse voice behind "You Are My Lady" and "Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake)" -- is dead.

Freddie's family announced the sad news Tuesday ... saying the singer "went home to rest" Monday night. A cause of death was not disclosed.

His family remembered Freddie as more than just a legendary singer, calling him a "kind, generous soul" who loved his fans, family, friends, and music with everything he had.

Justin Timberlake is telling fans he's sorry for his beatboxing era ... while also not promising the spirit won't overtake him again.

Here's the deal ... Hannah Young -- an influencer with an encyclopedic knowledge of all things pop culture who goes by "uhhuhhannah" on Instagram -- posted a video about the strange moment in JT's career where he seemed to beatbox every time someone put a mic in front of him.

A child pop star who was a trainee of the Japanese girls’ idol group DIANNA Project has died. She was only 8 years old.

Hirata Runa "passed away peacefully" on Sept. 25 ... according to her X account.

The DIANNA Project shared in a statement that the up-and-comer died "due to myocarditis resulting from influenza."

The group -- which asked for privacy on behalf of the family -- added ... "We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the fans who supported Runa Hirata and to everyone involved who provided their support."

Musician Nate Head wore a white and tan striped "Palestine" jersey with the name Hind Rajab on the back and the number 5.

Rajab was a 5-year-old Palestinian girl who was killed in January 2024 after the Israeli military opened fire on the car she was in as her family tried to flee Israeli evacuation orders ... according to Al Jazeera.

According to a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Mattie Music Group -- which says it owns rights to the Withers classic -- is suing Capitol Records, Universal Music Group, Sony Publishing and Kobalt Music Publishing for copyright infringement.
