TMZ Sports has obtained new video from moments after the crash in Scottsdale on Wednesday at 2:30 PM ... and the former Major League Baseball star was clearly confused about what just happened.

The bystander at the scene walks up to the McLaren 765LT, which had just been hit on the driver's side door by a sedan moments earlier and was resting against a street pole, facing the wrong direction on a dirt path next to the road, when Trevor slides across the passenger seat and exits the exotic supercar.

Kyle Busch is in the hospital, battling a "severe illness," according to the NASCAR superstar's family.

“Kyle has experienced a severe illness resulting in hospitalization. He is currently undergoing treatment and will not compete in any of his scheduled activities this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway," the family said Thursday morning.

"We ask for understanding and privacy as our family navigates this situation,” the family said Thursday morning.

The Twiggs County Sheriff's Office says Smith was driving 65 miles over the 70 MPH speed limit on the interstate prior to his arrest around 11 PM ... and was driving a black 2026 Lamborghini as he passed vehicles on the left and "rapidly" changed lanes without using his turn signals.

Kaiser (real name Marcel Barthel) was arrested Wednesday for battery after he got physical with his neighbor inside a luxury building in Orlando, Florida, where the two men live, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

The report says the incident popped off on the night of April 23, when the neighbor stepped inside an elevator along with Kaiser and the woman he was with.

Busch's racing team, Richard Childress Racing, along with NASCAR, announced the shocking news.
