Tony Romo's seemingly been punished from his TV gig after his Operating While Intoxicated arrest ... with CBS Sports telling TMZ Sports the former quarterback is "on leave" until further notice.

The update comes just over a week after Romo was arrested in Wisconsin after officers suspected him of driving drunk behind the wheel.

The NFL season kicks off in September ... so it's unclear if Romo -- who joined CBS as its lead analyst in 2017 -- will return from leave before Week 1. The network enlisted future Hall of Famer J.J. Watt to replace the former Dallas Cowboys star in his absence.

Just when you thought this summer couldn't get hotter ... here comes Cristiano Ronaldo, stripping down to his undies and flaunting his fit figure -- plus the bulge in his pants.

The soccer star was soaking up the sun Thursday on a yacht off the coast of Mallorca, wearing nothing but a pair of his CR7 briefs ... which did little to shield the outline of his penis, especially after he took a dip in the sea.

The Houston Rockets star's request for a temporary restraining order against his former flame Marilyn Maritza Melo Rodriguez was granted by a judge Thursday ... and she's been barred from going near Tari, his home, his work, his vehicle, or NBA facilities where the baller is playing or practicing.

A hearing -- at which a judge will decide whether the TRO should be extended into a long-term restraining order -- has been set for August 20.

San Francisco Giants player Harrison Bader allegedly rammed his scooter into the back of a fire truck early Sunday morning ... an accident that further injured his foot and solidified the end of his season.

Bader -- who has been banged up most of 2026 -- was scheduled to see a foot specialist this week to address his ongoing plantar fasciitis issues ... but the team announced on Tuesday his status worsened after crashing his scooter days prior, and he would need an MRI to understand the severity of the new ailment.

While the team didn't provide details on the incident ... the SFist reported the scooter crash happened in the Cow Hollow area around 1:50 AM near the Balboa Cafe. A witness told the outlet Bader collided into back of a San Francisco Fire Department truck ... and the scooter wheel then rolled over his foot, causing a "major injury."

Italian soccer icon Franco Baresi -- the former AC Milan defender who helped define Italian soccer's golden era in the 1980s and 1990s -- has died.

AC Milan -- where he served as honorary vice president -- announced his death Thursday, writing ... "The entire history of AC Milan is in tears following the passing of Franco Baresi. His example and integrity will be forever etched into the Club’s DNA, just as his iconic number 6 shirt is."

A cause of death has not been released.

AC Milan announced last year Baresi had undergone surgery to remove a pulmonary nodule that was discovered during routine medical tests. It was never confirmed whether or not the mass was cancerous.

Ex-NBA star Paul Pierce is fighting his ex Princess Santiago's plea for a massive monthly child support check -- claiming his income is about to drop drastically this year, TMZ has learned. 

Paul filed court docs opposing his ex's request for $30K per month in child support, plus another $100K for legal fees in the case. 

In his filing, Paul points out he hasn't played in the NBA since 2017 … and does not earn like he used to. His career earnings were over $200 million.

When Shannon asked whether Kanye West or former Dallas Cowboys receiver Miles Austin overlapped with Reggie, Shockey didn't hesitate -- "I think she was juggling three or four guys at the same time. She should be in the circus."

Kamu Kirk -- a housemate on season 28 of "Big Brother" -- is catching flak online over a viral video where he jokes about George Floyd.

Here's the deal ... back in December, Kamu shared several videos where he filmed a dude being arrested outside his residence while screaming bloody murder.

During the high-pitch screams for help -- it sounds like the person being arrested is alleging police mistreatment -- Kamu says, "I can't breathe, I can't breathe, I can't breathe. Bro thinks he's George Floyd."

The video recently resurfaced and is now going viral ... for all the wrong reasons.

7/31, 7:51 AM PT -- A source close to Marilyn tells TMZ ... she disputes those portrayals and contends they are false, misleading, and intended to damage her reputation while diverting attention from her allegations of harassment and emotional distress. She maintains that these publications do not accurately reflect the events as she experienced them.

Tari Eason is asking for a domestic violence restraining order against his ex ... telling the court she punched him in the face and destroyed some of his designer clothes with bleach.

The Houston Rockets star filed a petition, obtained by TMZ, on Thursday ... and he's asking for protection from 32-year-old Marilyn Maritza Melo Rodriguez, who he describes as someone he "used to date."

Tari claims one of Marilyn's friends called him to "tell me that she would 'break both of my legs' and 'kill me'" ... alleged threats he said made him fear for his life.

4:00 PM PT -- DeenTheGreat's lawyer, Richard L. Cooper tells TMZ ... "On May 27th Deen was arrested and charged with a 2nd degree felony, which carries a maximum of 15 years in a Florida prison."

He added, "However, we still anticipate that this case will be dismissed by the prosecutors in short order. We look forward to resolving the case next week."

Streamer DeenTheGreat is facing serious prison time after being charged with felony robbery, TMZ has learned. 

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, prosecutors in Miami also charged Deen -- real name Nurideen Shabazz -- with a misdemeanor battery over an alleged May 27 incident involving a woman and a yacht.

A female acquaintance called cops after she claimed he got physical with her after a verbal altercation on the boat. She claimed he kicked her off the yacht because other men were trying to talk to her after he warned her not to entertain anyone but him.

It looks like we're not going to get to see what happened when cops showed up to Kyle Shanahan's car crash ... because they're not releasing the body cam footage.

We submitted a public records request with the Palo Alto Police Department, which told us the video -- as well as the accident report -- are "exempt from disclosure" under the California Public Records Act.

A spokesperson for PAPD confirmed to TMZ ... "Nothing will be released related to this accident."

As you know, the 49ers head coach took the blame for his July 14 wreck, after a clerical error in the state database said the other driver was at fault.

Kansas City Chiefs coach Eric Bieniemy's son, Elijah Bieniemy, will undergo a competency evaluation as he faces serious charges in the shooting of his own mother Mia Bieniemy ... with a judge granting a motion on the matter Thursday morning.

The 27-year-old's public defender claimed Elijah is dealing with mental health issues and unable to assist in his own defense.

Elijah did not appear in court for Thursday's hearing ... nor did any member of the Bieniemy family, according to Fox 5.

The WNBA is *attempting* to put out a fire they ignited ... after the league's own social media team posted video of hoop stars Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers seemingly making a $400 wager on a Dream-Wings Game -- before scrambling to delete it.

Addressing the viral controversy for the first time, the much-maligned league put out a statement insisting the whole thing was a joke that got out of hand.

"While the social media post was intended to be lighthearted, WNBA players are well aware of the league's policies prohibiting betting on WNBA games and receive training every year reinforcing those policies. We recognized that the post missed the mark, removed it shortly after it was published, and addressed the matter internally."

Brett Favre is looking to reunite with his longtime teammate, Ahman Green ... telling TMZ Sports he'd love to share his Parkinson's experience with the former running back.

The 49-year-old Packers Hall of Famer opened up on his diagnosis on a recent podcast ... explaining he found out in January 2025, but only decided recently to go public about it.

Favre -- who shared his diagnosis with the same disease in late 2024 -- got wind of Green's news ... and he wants to let him know his old quarterback's got his back.

Puka Nacua wants to push back a key witness' deposition in a lawsuit alleging he bit a woman ... but his accuser, Madison Atiabi, says his legal team waited until the last second to throw a flag.

According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ Sports, Atiabi wants a judge to let the witness, Zoe Harvey, testify remotely Friday as planned -- despite Puka's objection.

Harvey could be a major witness. Atiabi says she saw the alleged New Year's Eve biting incident and its aftermath ... and is believed to have taken one of the first photos of the bite mark allegedly left on Atiabi's shoulder.
