Jack Black Can't Hide Identity At Comic-Con ... Blames His Gut

There's no escape, Jack Black ... that Stormtrooper mask is powerless against us!

Despite his best efforts, we were able to catch up with Jack at Comic-Con last night as he walked the streets of San Diego -- hoping to be doing so incognito.

FAIL!

Our cameraman pegged him immediately ... and Jack didn't seem particularly pleased to be outed so easily, but figured he knew why.

"Is it my gut?" Jack asked.

Nope, apparently that wasn't what tipped us off ... check out the video to find out what did.

And may the force be with you, Jack.

Stallone Superfans We Dropped $445 To Pose With Our Hero

Would you pay $445 to take a photo with Sly Stallone? These people did.

Sly was one of the attractions at NYC Comic Con this weekend ... where the going rate for a snapshot with the Italian Stallion ran just south of $500. Autographs were $395.

But the price didn't scare off legions of Stallone-aholics, who willingly shelled out the cash for a moment with their hero.

Stallone wasn't the only celeb charging for pics ... a photo with Stan Lee ran $400 bucks ... and people dropped $200 for a shot with Sigourney Weaver.

The moral of the story -- nerds got bank, yo.

Stallone vs. Schwarzenegger WHO'D YOU RATHER?

It's a battle of the bronze!

A shady looking 67-year-old Sylvester Stallone (left) posed at Comic-Con with 65-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger (right) to promote their upcoming action flick 'Escape Plan.'

The question is...

'Office' Star Sorry Jim, Pam, Dwight ... I Didn't Watch the Finale

He was the CEO of Dunder Mifflin ... he terrorized Andy Bernard ... but former "Office" star James Spader tells TMZ he just didn't care enough about the show to watch the series finale back in May.

A well-dressed Spader -- who played Robert California on the NBC sitcom -- was hanging out at Comic-Con yesterday when he asked if he enjoyed the way the show wrapped up after 9 seasons on the air.

"I didn't see it," Spader revealed ... which is kinda shocking considering he was a major character on the show for all of Season 8. He was essentially hired to replace Steve Carell.

So why didn't he watch the finale? Was it a diss? Was he just really busy? Or, like the rest of America, did he just get bored with the storyline?

The U.K. finale was better anyway.

Will Ferrell Blue His Own Mind at Comic-Con

Looking like the biological child of Michael Chiklis and Smurfette -- Will Ferrell ushered in the beginning of Comic-Con in San Diego today by dressing up as the star of his upcoming flick, "MegaMind."

Will's co-star Brad Pitt couldn't make the show -- so he sent a cardboard cut out to fill in.

Of course, Will was among a dedicated -- and costumed -- SciFi geek army ... so make sure to click on the gallery below to check out all the action.
