Incredible update on Alijah Arenas -- the high school basketball star and USC commit is out of his coma and making strides in his recovery just 24 hours after his terrifying Cybertruck crash.

An Arenas family rep shared the positive news just minutes ago ... saying the 18-year-old's development has been "remarkable and hopeful."

The statement said Arenas remains intubated ... but at one point, was able to open his eyes and write on a piece of paper to ask if anyone was hurt as a result of the accident.

Pee-wee Herman said he wouldn't sell his bike for "a hundred million, trillion, billion dollars" ... but, at least one version is now up for auction -- and, it's not gonna bring in quite that much.

Six police officers died in a plane crash in Thailand Friday -- and the harrowing incident was all caught on video.

Other videos show first responders fishing a body out of the water, and aerial footage shot from another plane shows the wreckage in the water.

Basketball phenom Alijah Arenas rolled on the ground in a huge puddle of water just moments after he was ripped from a burning Tesla Cybertruck ... video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows.

The clip was recorded by a neighbor who tells us he heard the crash happen at around 5 AM Thursday just outside of his home in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley.

The witness says he raced out and saw Arenas stuck inside the flame-engulfed vehicle after it had barreled over a fire hydrant and come to a stop on a nearby tree.

Scott Peterson should get a new trial proving he could not have committed the murders because of new scientific evidence -- so claims the Los Angeles Innocence Project -- but Nancy Grace says the so-called "scientific evidence" is a load of crap.

Nancy appeared on the new episode of the "2 Angry Men" podcast and addressed a new theory that would have made it impossible for Scott Peterson -- who's serving a life sentence for the murders of Laci and their unborn child, Conner -- to have committed the crime.

The L.A. Innocence Project says based on scientific technology that was not available when Peterson was tried back in 2004, fetal testing puts the date of death somewhere between December 28, 2002 and January 5, 2003.
