The Pentagon is cherry picking data when it tries to shoot down a popular new movie's portrayal of America's $50 billion nuclear missile defenses ... at least according to national security analyst Joseph Cirincione, who says 'House of Dynamite' has it right!

In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Sia's estranged husband Daniel Bernad is asking the judge for sole custody of their one-year-old, Somersault Wonder Bernad, alleging she is a "serious and immediate danger" to their son, but Sia says he's already restricted to monitored visits because of a child porn investigation.

In the papers, Daniel says, "Sia is an unfit and unreliable parent struggling with substance abuse and addiction, rendering her incapable of providing safe or stable care for Summi. I am the only safe and reliable parent for our son. I am a doctor, young, healthy, and have no criminal history or drug or alcohol addiction issues."

There was a robbery caught on camera in Santa Cruz ... committed by an otter!

It was just about the cutest mugging you'll ever see ... The video, posted Tuesday, starts with the otter already on top of the board with the surfer underneath.

In an attempt to encourage the otter off the board, the surfer flips it, sending the otter back into the water, which you would think would be the end of it ... but nope! The otter is persistent.

The marine mammal hops right back on the board, apparently for good this time, because the little guy looked to be very comfortable as the poor "victim" drifted farther away.

Police in Sugar Land, Texas say Adrian Peterson fessed up to throwing back shots of a vodka mix at a poker game early Sunday morning ... just hours before he was arrested for DWI.

The officer who took Peterson into custody over the weekend wrote in court documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, that the former NFL running back made the admission while the two were at a Sugar Land gas station at around 9:23 AM.

The Department of War is so insatiable for bombing vessels, they're now taking on four at a time ... and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth shared a video of the deadly foursome.
