Karmelo Anthony Faces Murder Trial In Stabbing Case

Karmelo Anthony, the Texas teen charged with stabbing a high school football player to death at a track meet, has a big day in court ... his murder trial starts today, and the first order of business is jury selection.

Anthony's raised a whopping $600,000 for his legal defense fund ... he's claiming he acted in self-defense when he allegedly stabbed Austin Metcalf to death at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas. They were both 17 years old during the April 2025 altercation.

Anthony told police Metcalf got physical with him after he warned Metcalf not to touch him. Anthony allegedly pulled a knife from his bag and plunged it into Metcalf's chest. He was placed under arrest and later indicted by a grand jury for murder after Metcalf died from his injuries.

Alamo wanted Rue dead after finding out she was a snitch, knowing she would pop the pills if he left them out because of her serious drug habit.

Searching for "Alaskan Bush People" star Matt Brown's body in a raging river was like finding a needle in a haystack ... at least according to a first-hand account from the private search party that found him.

Chay Wilkerson Moore lead the private search party who recovered Brown's body from the Okanogan River in Washington state, and he tells TMZ kayakers were able to spot his brown jacket in the fast-moving brown water Saturday, just a few miles South from where he was last seen alive.

Moore -- who has spearheaded 12 successful recoveries over the last 5 years -- says kayakers had to scour the riverbank inch by inch because Matt's clothing blended in with the murky water and scenery ... and he was in a remote area not easily accessible by law enforcement.
