Chris Brown claims he is not able to take time off from his tour with Usher to deal with the ongoing legal matters with his ex-housekeeper ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Chris said he can’t be forced to show up for an examination at the Van Nuys courthouse, where his ex-housekeeper Maria Avila wants to review his finances and bank statements to see how he will pay the judgment he owes her.

In his new filing, Chris said he’s a little busy with his nationwide tour … and said there are even talks to extend the tour with additional dates.

Alex Cooper just got some bad news from Hulu ... her reality dating show "Love Overboard" has been tossed overboard after just one season.

TMZ has confirmed Disney has pulled the plug on the series, which premiered on Hulu in March. Page Six was first to report the cancellation, citing low viewership.

The nine-episode show -- hosted by "Bachelorette" alum Gabby Windey and executive produced by Alex -- put 22 singles aboard a luxury yacht, where they competed for romance and the high life.

The fake 49ers player Daejon Love may have had the cars, cash and big talk ... but one woman says his story fell apart with a simple roster check.

A woman named Cara joined us Monday on "TMZ Live" ... telling us she looked Love up early on and quickly realized his name wasn't anywhere on the San Francisco 49ers roster.

When she questioned him about it, Cara says Love fired back with a five-minute voice message breaking down NFL contracts ... claiming a thumb injury prevented him from passing the medical portion of his deal, so he couldn't appear on the official roster even though he was supposedly still with the team.

Fake 49er Daejon Love allegedly had his hand out years before his arrest ... with two women suing him over thousands in unpaid loans.

Court records obtained by TMZ show Love was sued twice in small-claims court in Sacramento County -- once in 2020 and again in 2021.

In the first case, Olivia Datu claimed Love borrowed $4,900 from her over the course of several weeks ... including $1,200 for a credit card payment and $3,700 for work on a Dodge vehicle.

California's infamous alleged "Butt Sniffer" is back in trouble ... after cops say he was caught pulling the same bizarre stunt at two Glendale stores.

Calese Crowder -- a registered sex offender -- was arrested Friday afternoon after employees at two businesses reported a man acting suspiciously and bending down around customers, according to NBC4.

Police reviewed surveillance video from both locations and identified the 39-year-old as the suspect ... before tracking him down nearby and arresting him on suspicion of a parole violation.

10:30 AM PT -- Los Angeles D.A. Nathan Hochman addressed the media after the hearing ... saying the death penalty remains on the table, but prosecutors have not decided whether they will explore that route.

TMZ also asked Hochman about D4vd substituting his legal counsel ... and he said he expects the public defender will give the singer "zealous" representation as the case proceeds.

9:12 AM PT -- D4vd pleaded not guilty and is expected back in court on October 19.

D4vd has just suffered a big blow in his murder case ... his lawyers told the judge they can't rep him anymore, a public defender has stepped in, and it's apparent the singer has run out of cash.

Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski and Regina Peter told the judge they are unable to continue representing D4vd. Although they did not give a reason, everything screams ... D4vd is broke.

Berk, Bednarski and Peter tell TMZ ... "This morning the court granted our request to withdraw as counsel and appointed the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office, after it was determined David qualified for appointed counsel."

The lawyers go on ... "We continue to support David and his defense against these serious charges. We are grateful that the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office has taken over the representation and that David has a highly capable and committed team of attorneys and investigators behind him."

A public defender has stepped in, citing the fact D4vd is indigent.

Hunter told "Dopey" podcast host David Manheim that Joe used to visit while he was living with "Bicycles" -- an unhoused person Hunter had asked to sell him crack and teach him how to smoke it.

He told Manheim he thinks Joe and Bicycles had crossed paths when he would roll up to their place.

Hannah Israel claims on Facebook that Polk County cops had entered her pasture without permission to allegedly look for a missing person last week ... saying that's when they shot and killed little HeeHaw.

Aaliyah's uncle claims his son is partly to blame for the late singer's death ... lobbing the bombshell allegation as the two fight over money in court.

TMZ obtained a lawsuit filed by Jomo Hankerson against Barry Hankerson and his record label Blackground Records. Barry is Aaliyah's uncle and longtime manager. Jomo is Barry's son and Aaliyah's cousin.

In the docs, Barry claims Aaliyah's cousin was paid to coordinate travel for her music video shoot in the Bahamas ... referring to the fateful August 2001 trip where she died in a plane crash.

Aaliyah's uncle says his son "failed in his responsibility" to handle travel plans ... and she instead took a private jet that crashed and killed everyone onboard.

A massive island seemingly popped up out of nowhere in a Canadian reservoir ... only to completely vanish weeks later.

The bizarre floating landmass was spotted in British Columbia's Williston Reservoir, where boaters noticed what looked like a full-blown island covered in trees drifting through the water.

And this thing was huge ... roughly the size of two NFL football fields. Satellite imagery from July 21 confirmed it was real and floating about 60 miles west of the W.A.C. Bennett Dam.
