A spokesperson for the Newport Beach Police Department tells TMZ ... on Saturday at 7:21 PM, an officer "observed a vehicle with a loud exhaust and conducted a traffic stop."
We're told the stop resulted in a warning issued to the driver, and he was sent on his way.

NBC Helicopter Crash Victims Identified After Fiery Accident

9:03 AM PT -- The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has confirmed to TMZ that the third victim of the deadly helicopter crash was Edy Gutierrez Mejia. He was 29 ... and his place of death was listed as a "business parking lot."
Two of the three victims of a horrific helicopter crash in California have been identified as a seasoned NBC L.A. reporter and her veteran pilot.
NBC Los Angeles' Eliana Moreno -- who also reported for Telemundo -- and pilot George Marciniw were aboard the fatal, fiery crash in Chatsworth ... the outlet confirmed.
A third victim -- a pedestrian -- has yet to be identified. At the time of the crash, Moreno and Marciniw had been covering a fatal bus crash that left at least two dead.

Three attorneys from one of the law firms representing Diddy in a civil suit are asking to drop the imprisoned music mogul and withdraw from the case over unpaid legal fees ... but Diddy says the lawyers were simply overcharging him ... TMZ has learned.
The attorneys, Michael Tremonte, Erica Wolff and Katie Renzler from Sher Tremonte LLP, filed a motion to withdraw as counsel for Diddy in the music mogul's case against Nexstar Media, Ariel Mitchell, and Courtney Burgess, which is pending in federal court in New York.
In the motion, the lawyers lay out their reasons for wanting off the Diddy train, saying he has failed to pay a "substantial balance of attorney's fees" and other costs and expenses.

Los Angeles News Helicopter Crash At Least Three Dead
A Los Angeles news helicopter went down in a fiery crash Tuesday evening, leaving three people dead and sending a towering cloud of thick black smoke over the area.
BREAKING: A news helicopter crashed and caught fire at the intersection of Prairie St. and Lurline Ave. in Los Angeles, igniting multiple vehicles.
The helicopter was among several news helicopters covering a prior fatal bus crash in the area. Firefighters are responding to the… @GlobalRpt_
The aircraft is believed to belong to KNBC, the Los Angeles NBC affiliate. Not long after the crash, the station's anchor, Colleen Williams, told viewers the station had "lost contact with our people."
NBC4 anchors appeared visibly emotional as they continued covering the helicopter crash live on-air.
The helicopter crashed while the news crew was covering a deadly bus crash that claimed at least two lives.
Officials have not yet said what caused the helicopter to crash into the ground.
The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation.

Sunny -- the Obama family's cherished Portuguese water dog who lived in the White House -- has died, according to Barack Obama.
Obama, the 44th president of the United States, just posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, revealing the sad news that Sunny had passed away after giving so much love to their family from when she first came into their lives during Barack's second term between 2013 and 2017. He also posted a series of photos, one of which included the Obamas and Sunny meeting Pope Francis in 2015.

NBC4 Los Angeles started Wednesday morning with heartbreak ... mourning two of its own after the deadly NewsChopper 4 crash.
The station opened its 4 AM newscast with an emotional tribute to reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw, who were killed Tuesday while on assignment.
The anchors told viewers the NBC4 family was grieving, before sharing memories of both colleagues and thanking them for their years of service.
Florida Woman Allegedly Drugged Wealthy Man, Stole $100K Rolex
A woman who has allegedly been seducing wealthy men and drugging them to steal their expensive watches is now behind bars.
Lynda Mae Crouse was busted Friday in connection with stealing a $100,000 Rolex from a man she met at the Carousel Club in Hallandale Beach on April 12, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by TMZ. She was then booked in the Broward County jail for robbery and grand theft.
According to the affidavit, Crouse traded phone numbers with the man before she left the club and went home. Later that night, the man sent an Uber to pick up Crouse and bring her back to his place, where they had drinks.
Paranormal Writer David Wilcock Wrote Chilling Suicide Notes ... 'Not In A Great Place'
David Wilcock, the famous paranormal writer who took his own life in April, penned several suicide notes ... with one demanding that authorities not resuscitate him, TMZ has learned.
According to an autopsy report, obtained by TMZ ... Wilcock wrote the notes before shooting himself April 20 in the backyard of his home in Boulder, Colorado.
In the suicide notes, Wilcock revealed that he was "not in a great place" and insisted that first responders "Do Not Resuscitate" him under any circumstances. Police also found lists of beneficiaries tied to his estate in various places around his house.
