MMA legend BJ Penn was arrested over the weekend ... after he had a strange run-in with cops that was captured on video.

According to Hawaii Police Department records, Penn was thrown behind bars in Hilo at around 9:40 PM on Sunday on a charge of "abuse family or household member: offensive physical contact."

Records show he was released on $2,000 bail hours later -- at 1:48 AM on Monday. Further details surrounding the arrest were not made immediately available -- we've reached out to cops for comment, but have yet to hear back.

Kid Kypree's dramatic arrest was caught on camera ... not traditional body cam footage, but from high in the sky -- because a drone captured the moment law enforcement caught him.

TMZ has obtained footage taken from an infrared camera of the incident ... where a heat signature -- which we're told is Kypree -- is slowly making its way through the woods.

Check out the clip ... Kid Kypree's creeping through the trees, looking for a way out -- but, seeing none, he returns to the property, where he's arrested by cops.

Michael Pitt has been arrested on sexual abuse charges ... with authorities accusing him of sexually assaulting his then-girlfriend and later attacking her with several blunt objects.

According to the indictment, prosecutors say Pitt's charges stem from four domestic incidents that allegedly took place between April 2020 and August 2021.

Cops claim the alleged incidents occurred at the actors Bushwick home with his then-girlfriend ... where they say fondled ex on one occasion and then -- months later -- allegedly sexually assaulted and struck her with a wooden plank.

Olympic sprinter Fred Kerley is once again in trouble with the law ... TMZ Sports has learned he was arrested on Thursday after he allegedly struck his ex-girlfriend in the face.

According to an arrest report we obtained ... cops were dispatched to Dania Beach, FL around 7:48 PM to investigate Kerley after Alaysha Johnson reported to authorities he had hit her.

The police docs state Johnson told officers she was at a conditioning appointment for an upcoming track and field event when she ran into Fred -- whom she had previously dated for about six months.

The cop who busted Justin Blackmon for public intoxication earlier this month put a brief pause on arresting the ex-NFLer to educate him on some Oklahoma State football history ... police video shows.

Check out the body camera footage TMZ Sports obtained ... just after an Oklahoma State University Police Dept. officer stopped the former OSU Cowboy for allegedly roaming the Stillwater campus while drunk on April 19 at around 1:30 AM -- he talked a bit of ball with the one-time Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver.

Blackmon stated he had played for the Pokes in 2011 -- and "went to the league" afterward. The cop then asked, "Did you play under [Mike] Gundy?"

Police body cam footage from Druski's October 2024 wacky arrest has surfaced on the internet ... and no, it's not a skit, although it may give you a few chuckles.

The video unfolds with an Atlanta Police officer spelling out the situation for Druski after being spotted allegedly running a stop sign.

Floyd Diaz, an undefeated boxer, was arrested in Sin City last week ... after Las Vegas Metro cops pulled the pugilist over while driving a stolen vehicle, TMZ Sports has learned.

During the stop, LVMPD also found the 21-year-old boxer was carrying a firearm he was not legally allowed to possess.

Diaz was initially stopped after a patrol unit received a LoJack alert indicating the vehicle was stolen.

Former college football star Justin Blackmon couldn't fit in the back of a cop car during his public intoxication arrest ... with a police report obtained by TMZ Sports stating a larger vehicle was required to transport him to jail.

The 35-year-old ex-Oklahoma State Cowboys receiver's most recent run-in with the law made rounds on social media over the weekend ... with sports fans noting the drastic change in Blackmon's appearance in his mug shot.

According to the incident report, OSU cops responded to a call regarding a "larger black male" laying on the ground at 1:32 AM on Saturday morning.

Haley Joel Osment was described as "very intoxicated and unruly" in dispatch audio from his recent arrest at a California ski resort ... according to the 911 call placed by ski patrol.

In the audio, obtained by TMZ, you hear a member of the Mammoth Mountain ski patrol tell the dispatcher Haley was out of control in the Chair 2 parking lot.

The patroller also says Haley's not being cooperative.

6:42 PM PT -- Haley Joel Osment tells TMZ ... "I’m absolutely horrified by my behavior. Had I known I used this disgraceful language in the throes of a blackout, I would have spoken up sooner. The past few months of loss and displacement have broken me down to a very low emotional place."

Haley is referring to the loss of his home and belongings during the Eaton Fire this past January.

Haley's statement continues... "But that’s no excuse for using this disgusting word. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize to absolutely everyone that this hurts. What came out of my mouth was nonsensical garbage - I’ve let the Jewish community down and it devastates me. I don’t ask for anyone’s forgiveness, but I promise to atone for my terrible mistake."

Haley Joel Osment was in the back of a police car on his way to jail when he called his arresting officer a "Nazi" and a Jewish slur ... at least according to police body cam footage.

TMZ just obtained the video from Haley's arrest at a California ski resort and you hear him calling the cop driving him to jail a "f***** Nazi" and the "K" word.

Video also shows the moment cops claim they found cocaine in Haley's possession ... and the drugs appear to be concealed in a $20 bill.

Haley Joel Osment allegedly dropped some offensive labels -- including a racial epithet -- on the cop who was arresting him at a ski resort ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us … the arresting officer reported Haley was belligerent when they took him into custody earlier this month at Mammoth Mountain in Cali for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.

Burbank Police tell TMZ Hip Hop that Matt was in the back seat of a black Lexus officers pulled over in a traffic stop on April 5, 2025, at approximately 4:30 AM.

The vehicle was traveling through the area of Glenoaks Boulevard and Walnut Avenue, and was cited for vehicle code violations.

Paul Rodriguez is going to war with the Burbank Police Department ... bracing for an ugly legal battle over his recent arrest for drug possession, TMZ has learned.

The legendary actor-comedian and Burbank law enforcement sources traded accusations in separate statements to TMZ, turning Paul's misdemeanor drug possession case into a wild drama.

On Friday night, Paul was arrested with a female friend after cops pulled them over -- she was driving, he was in the passenger seat -- and conducted a search, eventually finding drugs in the woman's purse. Paul told TMZ the cop slapped him -- and Paul's attorney, Bobby Samini, later said the officer's actions constituted a civil rights violation.
