After enduring a highly contentious divorce, Denise and Charlie made nice and spent Valentine's Day together with their two girls, Sam and Lola. With a daughter in each arm, the former lovebirds strolled past the Agoura Animal Clinic on Wednesday. Meow.

Denise's boyfriend, Richie Sambora, and Charlie's girlfriend, Brooke Mueller, were nowhere in sight.

That seems to be the sartorial message Ryan Phillippe was conveying to the women of the world as he sauntered out of a club in Hollywood last night. (We don't know the Thai alphabet, but we're presuming the message says something along the lines of, "Thank you, paparazzi, for snapping my picture.")

The former Mr. Witherspoon has been cavorting with various women -- most recently, 18-year-old Nikki Reed -- in his renewed bachelorhood. Still, between shilling for his new film "Breach" and various nocturnal excursions, Phillippe found time to catch daughter Ava's school play.

The estranged husband of "Men in Trees" star Anne Heche is making the first legal move in their highly publicized breakup, and he wants Heche to pay up.

TMZ obtained the divorce papers filed yesterday in a Los Angeles County Court, in which Coley Laffoon blames the split on "irreconcilable differences."

Laffoon, a 33-year-old cameraman, is asking the court for spousal support and joint custody of the couple's five-year-old son, Homer.

The filing comes in the wake of reports linking Heche with her "Men in Trees" costar, James Tupper, who split from his own spouse just a few months ago. Neither star has confirmed the relationship.

Ironically, the couple met during production of a 2000 documentary chronicling Ellen DeGeneres' return to stand up comedy. Heche made headlines dating the talk-show and soon-to-be Oscar host Ellen for roughly three years.

TMZ caught the leather-clad biker boy puffing a cig on his way out of the luxurious pink palace earlier today.

Sources connected to the former couple tell TMZ that despite this joint appearance, there is "no way" that the couple is getting back together, but the relationship is "civil" now. We're also told that there was plenty of bad blood at the time they separated, caused in large part by the revelation that another woman appears to have been involved with Ryan, an alleged dalliance that infuriated Reese. Still, it seems that the two actors, married for seven years, are attempting a rapprochement of sorts, at least for their children.

In the couple's divorce petition, obtained by TMZ, Witherspoon asked the court for joint legal custody of the children, and for primary physical custody. She also asked the court to block any attempt by Phillippe to get spousal support.

Sources tell TMZ that Britney has been trying to phone former flame Justin Timberlake, but he's not taking her calls -- and, as TMZ recently reported, JT isn't keen on any love rematch. We're also told that when JT's ex, Cameron Diaz, got wind of the calls, she didn't like it one bit -- and has tried to get through to Britney's people to ask her to stop calling her old boy.

Over the weekend, the long lens of the paparazzi caught Britney engaged in two of her favorite pastimes -- carrying several small objects in her hands without the aid of a bag, and eating McDonald's food. The mother of two was spotted going into a Hollywood recording studio with cigs, Red Bull, CD, etc., and then she pulled up to the Golden Arches after the session for a healthy repast.

TMZ has exclusively learned that Walt Disney's nephew, Roy E. Disney, 77, has filed for divorce from his wife Patricia -- after 51 years of marriage. Disney is citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

The couple married on September 17, 1955, just after Disneyland opened. They have four adult children.

Roy was pivotal in ousting former Disney CEO Michael Eisner from his office. Roy is still a senior executive with Disney. Forbes estimated his fortune at $1.2 billion.

TMZ has obtained divorce papers filed by Von Teese, real name Heather Sweet, in Los Angeles Superior Court. In the documents, Von Teese cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for kicking the King of Goth Rock, real name Brian Warner, to the curb. According to Sweet, the couple called it quits on Christmas Eve. Goth humbug!

While the papers were filed on December 29, a source close to the couple tells Page Six that Manson has been in the dark on the split, because Von Teese can't get in touch with the guy. "She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can't even get him on the phone." Page Six also claims that Manson's alcohol use may have oiled up the breakup.

Manson and Von Teese had a star-studded wedding ceremony in Ireland in December of 2005. Keanu Reeves, Lisa Maria Presley and Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne were among the guests.
