Tom Cruise Divorce Settlement I Got Out Cheap!

Published | Updated

Katie Holmes walked away with nothing other than rather modest child support in her divorce from Tom Cruise ... and we at TMZ have the breakdown.

Sources familiar with documents filed with the court tell TMZ ... Katie got no lump sum payout, which is consistent with the prenup which essentially shuts her out of Tom's $250 million fortune.

As for spousal support ... Katie got zip.

Katie will get money for child support, but it's way less than a judge could have ordered. According to the settlement, Tom must pay Katie $400,000 a year in child support. That comes to $33,333.33 a month. The money will be paid by electronic transfer.

Tom must pay Suri's support for the next 12 years -- until she turns 18. All tolled, that comes to $4.8 million.

Tom must also pay Suri's expenses, including medical, dental, insurance, education, college and extracurricular costs.

And ... both Tom and Katie agree that Suri will NOT attend a "residential school" from now through her high school years. Translation -- she can't be shipped off to boarding school -- Scientology or otherwise.

Katie could have gotten more child support under New York law if the case went to trial, but both she and Tom decided to settle quickly.

We reported early on ... Katie said she wanted nothing from Tom other than a divorce -- well that's exactly what she got.

As for the conditions ... the easy one is keeping his genitals to himself. Rupert has told Liberty he's down with that. The sources say Rupert has been told in no uncertain terms he must be a better husband. As for whether he's up to the task ... the jury is out.

Our Rupert sources say it doesn't look like there will be an immediate decision on the marriage -- it's likely to take months.

Marcil wants Carmine to pay her attorney's fees. She's also asking the court to award her spousal support.

Megan Fox is now the kid's babysitter.

Michaele & Tareq Salahi OFFICIALLY DIVORCED

Published | Updated

Michaele Salahi is no longer a dirty rock star-banging cheater -- because TMZ has learned, her divorce from Tareq Salahi has just been made official.

A Virginia judge signed the divorce decree yesterday, making Michaele and Tareq's split official in the eyes of the law. According to the decree, there is a pre-nup and a post-nup, which takes care of dividing all their assets.

You'll recall, it was a nasty split -- Michaele ran off with Journey guitarist Neal Schon last year and Tareq subsequently sued the guy for $50 million, claiming Neal bogarted his wife ... and ruined his life.

The lawsuit was settled just last week. It's all smooth sailing now.

Tareq tells TMZ, "I do wish Michaele the best and now I can focus on my race for governor of Virginia."

Yeah, he's serious.

PayPal Founder Elon Musk My Wife Gets JACK SQUAT in the Divorce

Published | Updated

The woman who's divorcing PayPal founder Elon Musk is getting $4.2 million in their divorce ... which is great ... until you remember he's reportedly worth $680 MILLION.

TMZ has obtained the divorce docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court, in which actress Talulah Riley agreed to a settlement with her soon-to-be ex-husband ... whom she married in Sept. 2010 ... and then separated from in July 2011.

According to the docs, Riley gets to keep her Cartier watch, her Gucci watch, some diamond jewelry and her Tesla Roadster.

The $4.2 million will be dished out over a 9-year span ... she got $500k up front ... and an additional $900k right after her lawyers signed the judgement documents.

Now, the fun begins ... because Talulah gets $700k on the 1-year anniversary of the signing of the judgement ... followed by a $280k annual payment for years 2 through 8. On the 9th anniversary, she gets a final payment of $140k.

According to the documents, the divorce will become official on September 27.

No word on how Elon plans to make the payments ... we're guessing it won't be through PayPal.

Usher Held in Contempt For Canceling Ex's Saks Card

Published | Updated

Usher just got bitch-slapped in court -- a judge has ordered him to REOPEN his ex-wife's Saks Fifth Avenue credit card in his name ... after the singer closed the account last year.

The closed Saks card was just one of Tameka Raymond's many grievances in her ongoing custody fight against Usher -- and now, the court has taken her side ... holding the singer in contempt for pulling the plug on her fancy charge account.

Tameka claims she needs the account to do her job as a stylist.

As for the other grievances -- Tameka said Usher owed her cash for the nanny bill ... and continually failed to keep her in the loop about where and when he traveled with the kids.

The court agreed ... and awarded Tameka $1,300 for the nanny.

The judge has yet to determine the ex-couple's custody and support issues.

Kris Humphries His Parents Are Divorcing Too!

Published | Updated

Love is elusive for the Humphries family these days -- TMZ has learned that Kris Humphries' parents are going through a divorce of their own.

According to documents filed in Minnesota, Kris' mom Debra filed for divorce from husband William earlier this month. The couple has three adult children -- Kris and his two older sisters, Krystal and Kaela.

There will be some serious burger money up for grabs in the split -- William owns several Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurants throughout Minnesota.

It's pretty ironic ... Kris is fighting a divorce from Kim because he says it goes against his religious beliefs. Perhaps it's time to take a cue from mom?

It's unclear how long the couple was married ... but it was definitely longer than 72 days.

Kim Kardashian The Divorce is NOT So I Can Marry Kanye

Published | Updated

Kim Kardashian is telling close friends she is not pushing for a divorce so she can marry Kanye West -- she's saying Kris Humphries has simply become "a cancer" she wants out of her life forever.

Sources connected with Kim tell TMZ ... after Wednesday's court hearing, Kim said, "Kris is the first person I ever had to break-up with and that f**ked with my emotions." She added, when their marriage started to fall apart "He told our producers he would destroy my career and me if the show wasn't edited right."

Kim, who is telling friends she is "emotionally exhausted" from dealing with Kris, says if he really thinks he can convince a judge she defrauded him, wait 'til he sees the outtakes of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" -- which show Kris as a "manipulative, vindictive, petty, fame-hungry jerk."

Kim is telling friends, "It's all on camera and it's going to backfire in his face."

Neal Schon I've Buried the Hatchet with Tareq Salahi

Published | Updated

The $50 million war over Michaele Salahi is finally over ... TMZ has learned Journey guitarist Neal Schon struck a settlement deal with Tareq Salahi ... ending their legal battle for good.

We broke the story ... Tareq Salahi sued Neal for $50 mil, claiming Schon didn't just steal his wife ... but screwed him out of several lucrative opportunities he had planned to pursue with Michaele ... including reality TV shows.

The terms of the settlement are confidential.

A rep for Journey tells TMZ ... "Neal Schon and Journey are very pleased with the resolution of all legal issues and claims involving Mr. Salahi."

"While a judge previously dismissed Mr. Salahi’s claims on two separate occasions, all matters have now been finally resolved."

Sources close to the situation also tell us ... Michaele is also "very pleased" that her divorce is in its final stages.

Kris/Kim Divorce Serves Kanye West In Nordstrom Box

Published | Updated

Kris Humphries' lawyer engineered a sneak attack by trying to serve a subpoena on Kanye West by putting it in a Nordstrom box and sending it to Kim Kardashian's house.

Kim's lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser, told the judge in the divorce case about the ploy during a hearing that is still going on.

Wasser groused to the judge ... Kim has already racked up $250,000 in attorney's fees, yet it's unclear exactly what Kris wants out of this.

Wasser said she's heard the reports that Kris and his lawyers want to put reality TV on trial, and there seems to be evidence to back that up. Wasser noted that Kris has served Kris Jenner with a subpoena and NBC Universal and Bunim/Murray, which produces the Kardashian reality shows.

Wasser said she's perplexed as to why Kris Humphries thinks the marriage was a fraud -- because he went in eyes wide open.

Kris Humphries' lawyer, Marshall Waller told the court he wants to prove the marriage was a fraud, which Kim wanted solely to benefit her reality show. He says he wants to be armed with information about the show before taking Kim's deposition.

Kim's lawyer, Laura Wasser followed up by asking why it's so important for Kris to get an annulment. Waller did not answer. Wasser then said she intends to get Kris to pay every penny of Kim's attorney's fees.

On her way out of court, Wasser said, "We're just moving forward. My client just wants to be divorced."

Neither Kim nor Kris was in court today.

Kris Humphries D DAY In Kim K Divorce

Published | Updated

Lawyers for Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian will square off in court today and -- in technical legal terms -- we're told the judge will force Kris to either s**t or get off the pot.

Lawyers for both sides must tell the judge what they have done to either settle the case or prepare for trial. As TMZ has previously reported ... Kris has refused to settle, even though he signed what we're told is an iron-clad prenup that gives him zilch in the 72-day marriage.

What makes things puzzling ... even though Kris won't settle, he hasn't prepared for trial. In fact, we know Kris' lawyers have not even taken Kim's deposition ... this, despite the fact the judge said all depos must be in the can by today's hearing.

As we previously reported, Kris' lawyers have said they want to put reality TV on trial, but it's unclear what their end game is because Kris has no damages. He made hundreds of thousands of bucks off "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" as well as the wedding special, and he signed a $24 million basketball contract -- and the notoriety that made him a celeb didn't hurt the negotiations.

Short story ... it's almost certain the judge will not screw around with the case by prolonging it. If Kris doesn't want to walk away with a clean divorce, the judge will almost certainly set the case for trial -- whether Kris and his legal team are prepared or not.

We're not so cynical to believe Kris is dragging things out because he likes the publicity.

Chad Johnson Apologizes 'I Love Evelyn to Death'

Published | Updated

Chad Johnson has broken his silence ... and has issued an apology "To everyone for the recent events that have occurred" involving his wife Evelyn Lozada.

Moments after Evelyn filed for divorce, Johnson released a statement on his website regarding his recent domestic violence arrest ... saying, "I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death."

He adds, "To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life."

Even though Johnson was dropped from the Miami Dolphins, the 34-year-old wide receiver doesn't believe his football career is over ... saying, "I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL."

And now this ... Chad just changed his Twitter picture to a sign that reads "Rock ... Hard place" with arrows pointing in opposite directions. Wonder what he's trying to say ...

Chad Johnson MARRIAGE OVER Evelyn Files for Divorce

Published | Updated

Chad Johnson's wife of 6 weeks has filed for divorce ... TMZ has learned.

Evelyn Lozada filed legal docs moments ago in Florida, claiming her marriage is "irretrievably broken."

The trigger for the divorce was the domestic violence incident over the weekend, in which Chad Johnson was arrested after allegedly head-butting her during an argument.

Evelyn claimed she found a receipt for a box of condoms in his car.

According to the divorce docs, the couple had a prenup -- but that won't be a big deal since the marriage was shorter than Kim Kardashian's.

FYI -- Evelyn and Chad JUST got married on July 4th in St. Maarten ... and the whole ceremony was recorded for a VH1 reality show (VH1 has since pulled the plug on that ... for obvious reasons).

Kenny G Files for Divorce

Published | Updated

Kenny G has filed for divorce from his wife, TMZ has learned -- this after his wife filed for legal separation back in January.

In the court docs -- filed Thursday in L.A. by Kenny's disso-queen attorney Laura Wasser -- the musician cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split from his wife Lyndie Benson-Gorelick. They've been married for 20 years.

In the docs, Kenny indicates there IS a prenup -- which is significant because Kenny's worth a reported $50 million.

Kenny also asks the court for joint legal and physical custody of the couple's minor son.

TMZ broke the story ... Lyndie filed for legal separation in January, also citing "irreconcilable differences." We're guessing Kenny just got sick of waiting for her to file for divorce, so he made the first move.

Evander Holyfield Finally KOs Divorce

Published | Updated

Evander Holyfield is ready to get back in the ring ... the singles ring ... because the boxing champ just finalized his divorce -- TWO YEARS after it was originally filed.

If you recall ... Candi Holyfield pulled the plug on the marriage back in June 2010. That same year, she attempted to obtain a protective order against the boxer, claiming he hit her in the head, face and back ... an attempt she later dropped.

All that's behind them now... the divorce was finalized in Georgia Superior Court last month. Evander and Candi were able to come to a settlement agreement on issues of child support, custody, alimony and property division.

It's unclear who got what, but there's definitely a lot less to divvy up ... Evander's $14 million GA mansion was just foreclosed on earlier this year and Candi filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy back in May.

So ... eHarmony?

Liberty Ross I Want to Work it Out With My Cheating Hubby

Published | Updated

Liberty Ross -- the wife of director Rupert Sanders who cheated on her with Kristen Stewart -- has already seen a divorce lawyer ... TMZ has learned ... but her goal is reconciliation.

We do not know which lawyer she hired, but the picture (above) was taken Tuesday in the lobby of a Century City office building in which a number of divorce lawyers practice -- including disso queen Laura Wasser. By the way ... is Liberty hot or what?

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... although Liberty has lawyered up, her end game is NOT divorce. In fact, Liberty and Rupert have already been to a marriage and family therapist. Our sources say, when they were photographed together on Tuesday in Beverly Hills (above), they were coming out of an office building where they met with the psychologist.

Although Liberty is not wearing her wedding ring, we're told her goal is figuring out why Rupert cheated and getting some sort of assurance he views what he did as a terrible mistake that he won't repeat.
