Michael Lohan is facing more consequences after his arrest for allegedly assaulting his estranged wife Kate Major ... a judge slapped him with a protective order — but his attorney is hitting back at the allegations, calling them BS.

On Monday, the judge signed the emergency protective order, which requires Lindsay Lohan's dad to refrain from assaulting Kate or communicating with her in a threatening or harassing matter, according to court documents.

The docs also say Michael can't go anywhere within 200 feet of her place of employment, regardless of if he's carrying a firearm.

3:28 PM PT -- Ceasar McDowell, CEO of Unite the People, the nonprofit law firm that reps Tory Lanez, tells TMZ ... "If you know Tory Lanez how I do, good luck trying to get him to 'testify' to anything, it's just not what he does ... and he definitely did not 'agree' to testify now."

McDowell points out Lanez "is not a party" to Megan Thee Stallion's lawsuit against Milagro Cooper, a client of Unite the People ... so UTP isn't obligated to make Tory available for a deposition.

Tory Lanez is about to get visitors in prison, but it won't be the warm and fuzzy kind, because it's Megan Thee Stallion's attorneys who will be knocking at his cell.

Megan's attorney filed docs asking a judge to approve her lawyers taking a deposition from Tory as they investigate a defamation and cyberstalking case. As we reported, Megan is suing blogger Milagro Cooper for an alleged online campaign to spread misinformation about Megan in the wake of Tory's conviction for shooting her.

According to the docs, Tory's down to chat -- under oath, mind you -- with her attorneys, because he's not opposing the motion to depose him. MTS just needs the judge to sign off, and then they'll work out a date.

Tony Raines -- an MTV reality TV star -- was arrested early Sunday morning for operating a vehicle while intoxicated ... TMZ has learned.

Raines -- a contestant on "The Challenge" and "Real World: Skeletons" -- was arrested on 1 count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, 1 count of reckless operation and four counts of negligent injuring.

It's unclear exactly what led to his arrest ... but, sources tell us Raines was at a  wedding in Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday night and he went to the afterparty at a nearby restaurant after.

7:12 PM PT -- Michael Lohan tells TMZ ... "I've shut up long enough about Kate’s physical, emotional and verbal abuse. She set me up. Originally she said I was stalking her! Really? Lol. Then, when that didn't work, she said, I pushed her over a chair which is a total lie. Not only will my kids attest to it, but I have video. I have more videos of her abuse."

Michael Lohan has been arrested again ... this time for allegedly getting physical with a family member ... TMZ has learned.

According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, Lindsay Lohan's dad was taken into custody on Saturday in Texas on a felony assault charge called "continuous violence against the family."

A rep for the Harris County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... Major was getting a medical exam -- a mammogram, TMZ has learned from a different source -- when she told deputies Lohan had flipped her out of a chair at their residence several days earlier which she says caused her pain and discomfort.

Terrifying video shows a group of teens brutally beating a man in broad daylight in the middle of a busy Los Angeles intersection.

The footage was posted Saturday on Instagram by a passenger in a Lyft car with a driver who is a former military officer.

The pair jumped out of the vehicle to assist the victim — knowing full well they could become victims too — but the assailants got back onto their bikes and peddled off.

Mangione will head to state court Friday afternoon ... marking the first time he will sit before a judge since his arraignment on charges he allegedly shot to death UnitedHealthCare Group CEO Brian Thompson in Midtown Manhattan in December 2024.

Ten people allegedly involved in the brutal beating that ultimately killed inmate Robert Brooks have been charged in connection to the death ... with six of them facing murder charges.

Nicholas Anzalone, David Kingsley, Anthony Farina, Christopher Walrath, Mathew Galliher and an unnamed suspect who hasn't been arraigned yet all face charges of second-degree murder in the violent beating.

Three others -- Michael Mashaw, Michael Fisher and David Walters -- have been charged with manslaughter. Nicholas Gentile has been charged with tampering with physical evidence.

Erik Menendez owned his past by acknowledging he was a "spoiled brat" growing up, but things have radically changed.

Erik and Lyle Menendez were on TMZ's "2 Angry Men" podcast with Mark Geragos and Harvey Levin, and Harvey was blunt ... telling Erik when he covered their trial many years ago, his impression -- which was shared by many others -- was that they were spoiled brats.

Erik was clear ... guilty as charged, saying back then he thought he could mask his insecurities with expensive clothes and fancy cars. He went on to say measuring success by the stuff he acquired was ridiculous.

Erik and Lyle Menendez may have been badly beaten and broken in their early days of prison, before falling into relative obscurity in recent years ... but, all that changed when Ryan Murphy and Netflix got involved with their story.

A source in the California Department of Corrections tells TMZ ... when "Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story" came out in the fall, the brothers became high profile inmates again.

We're told their prison pod was buzzing with excitement when it looked like they were definitely getting out of prison, when former Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón was still in charge ... though the November election of Nathan Hochman has dampened the celebratory mood.

An Amazon delivery driver has been caught on video plowing down a woman crossing the street ... then speeding off, leaving her lying on the ground.

The harrowing incident happened on Tuesday night in a suburb of Baltimore. Police say the 29-year-old woman was crossing the street at the time ... video shows the Amazon truck moving forward when a green light appears.

As the woman is struck, she lets out a chilling shriek as the Amazon driver slowly drives on top of her ... dragging her along as the van moves.

Artem Chigvintsev says getting arrested for domestic violence "completely ruined" his life ... and, it's especially unfair 'cause the district attorney couldn't even charge him, he says.

The professional dancer talked about the incident on the "Glamorous Grind" podcast Tuesday ... and, he says that any way you cut it, his life was ruined by the arrest.

A$AP Rocky's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, is riding high after the not guilty verdict -- though he did confess he was this close to a heart attack right before it was read.

Tacopina swung by "TMZ Live" Wednesday ... revealing that when the judge polled the jury before reading out the verdict, his heart sank -- convinced they'd lost the case. In fact, he says the moment was so intense, he swears it felt like years were shaved off his life.

Drake Bell is furious with Hollywood for keeping the doors wide open for those who defend abusers -- calling out actor Taran Killam as a prime example.

The former Nickelodeon star -- who bravely shared his sexual abuse allegations against ex-dialogue coach Brian Peck in "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" -- posted a pic of Taran on his TV screen with the scathing caption, "Write a letter defending an abuser and Hollywood will always hire you."

New twist in the Karen Read case ... the judge just suspended an evidentiary hearing after voicing "grave concern" over new information from prosecutors.

A hearing in Read's retrial was moving along normally Tuesday when suddenly Judge Beverly Cannone called for a recess.
