An Ohio lawyer tried to gun down his ex-wife in a crowded restaurant ... but prosecutors say his plan fell apart because he forgot one pretty important step -- taking the safety off.

Matthew Exton walked into Sabira in Toledo in April 2025, allegedly sent a drink to his ex-wife's table and spit toward her family before leaving ... only to come back with a gun.

Prosecutors say Exton marched straight toward the table and tried to fire a bullet at his ex-wife, but the gun didn't go off because the safety was still on ... and the entire interaction was captured on video.

A National Guardsman got arrested and charged with 2 felonies after pulling a gun on a fellow Guard member and vowing to "slap the Jackson 5" out of her, according to an arrest affidavit.

The affidavit, obtained by TMZ, stated that Zion Mitchell was apprehended by police last week and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm after a judge issued an arrest warrant for him.

The alleged incident occurred on August 25, when Mitchell got into a heated argument with a female National Guard member while they were on break from patrol inside a van parked outside a Popeyes restaurant in D.C., according to cops.

In the filing, Shauntel says Thomas agreed to pay $2,129 per month in support for their three kids ... which went down to $1,732 once child support terminated for one child ... and then reduced to $1,092 when it was down to just one kid.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, the man, Connor Litka, made the remarks to a staff member at the crisis center. The docs say Connor said that in July 2025 he stopped taking his psychiatric medication.

A staff member at the crisis center says he reported to an employee that he and his girlfriend Sophie took a "blood oath" and it was an "intense experience." The report said Connor told staff he wanted to get out of "here" and claimed he wanted to leave South Bend, Indiana, and go back to "Florida to be with Sophie."

TMZ obtained the divorce settlement signed by Lindsay and Robert back in 2025 ... and the deal states Robert will be the primary physical custodian of their kids -- Grayson, born in 2012, Landon, born in 2013, and Rhett, born in 2019. They agreed to shared legal custody.

Robert and Lindsay also agreed that neither will be paid alimony or child support ... although Robert will pay for their school tuition and extracurricular activities. Both agreed not to talk negatively about the other in front of the kids or on social media.

Reddington sat down for an interview with ABC News host George Stephanopoulos on Tuesday's episode of "Good Morning America" ... and he made a public plea to Trump after Clancy's trial last week in Massachusetts ended with a mistrial.

During the "Good Morning America" interview, Reddington told Stephanopoulos, "Mr. President, I would hope that you would consider this young lady and the person she is, what she's been through, and consider a pardon."

Savannah, Georgia police say the suspect walked into the Hyatt Regency Savannah around 12:30 AM on Aug. 14, grabbed some belongings from a white Audi, then handed valet workers a ticket for a gray 2026 BMW X5.

According to investigators, he told employees he was a professional basketball player with several cars at the hotel ... and apparently sold the story well enough to get the keys and peel out in the BMW.

A 45-year-old woman in Italy was allegedly kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, taken to a highway bridge and thrown to her death in what authorities are investigating as an apparent murder-suicide.

Lorena Isceri was reportedly abducted from her home near Florence on September 3. Investigators say her former partner, Federico Vella, allegedly forced her into the trunk of his car and drove toward the A1 motorway.

Isceri was able to contact police during the ordeal, reportedly giving them information about her location. Authorities attempted to track the vehicle, but the situation turned deadly before they could intervene.
