Rich Homie Quan learned not to wave a red flag in front of a bull, because he just got gored ... Child Protective Services is now on his case for smoking what looks like a blunt in front of his kid.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Georgia authorities saw the video of RHQ's 1-year-old on his lap as he puffed away, and they were alarmed. Child Protective Services and the Fulton County Police Department have now teamed up to investigate.

Our sources say CPS wants to sit down with Quan and ask a slew of questions ... notably, what was he smoking? They also want to know if this was a one-off or his standard operating procedure.

Law enforcement tells us the probe goes beyond RHQ's fitness as a parent ... he could face possible criminal charges, including endangering a child and reckless behavior.

Andrew Keegan 10 Things I Hate About Websites Claiming I'm a Criminal

Published | Updated

Actor-turned-church-leader Andrew Keegan claims his reputation is ruined over Kombucha ... and he wants $33 mil to make it right.

Keegan got some bad press after his church -- Full Circle Venice -- was slapped for selling Kombucha to its members. Turns out the hippie elixir had enough alcohol so it couldn't be sold without a license. The California Dept. of Alcoholic Beverage Control raided the church and cited some of the members.

Here's what made Keegan irate ... Examiner.com reported he was arrested for the illegal sale of Kombucha. Keegan -- who became famous playing Joey in "10 Things I Hate About You" -- says he wasn't even there and was not arrested.

He says Examiner.com has a network reaching 20 million monthly readers and his name is now mud ... which is why he wants $33 mil.

Examiner.com has some deep pockets -- it's owned by AEG. They had no comment.

WHATCHA SMOKIN'?

Rich Homie Quan just guaranteed he will NOT be getting a father of the year award, but he might be getting a visit from child protective services -- after lighting up with his 1-year-old on his lap.

Quan wasn't even trying to hide it -- he was smoking what looks like a joint while chilling with little Royal Lamar ... ON SNAPCHAT!

The rapper says something to the camera -- after blowing out a huge puff of smoke -- but it's hard to make out. We suspect he might be kinda high.

It's possible he's not smoking marijuana, and it's really a hand-rolled cigarette. But it's not like that would be any better for the toddler.

UFC's Nick Diaz 'I Have to Figure Out How to Make a Living'

Published | Updated

UFC superstar Nick Diaz says he's devastated over the 5 year ban he got in Nevada after testing positive for weed ... telling TMZ Sports, "I have to figure out how to make a living."

"It's upsetting," Diaz told us when asked about the punishment dished out by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

"I held off on having kids and getting married so I could fight. I gave my life to this. I am a fighter. It's what I am. A lot of guys have to worry about what their wives and kids think, I don't. All my attention goes towards fighting, and now I don't know if I can fight. They've taken it away from me."

Diaz says he's been paying special attention to his finances in the wake of the suspension -- "I'm just trying to make ends meet."

We also asked Diaz how he felt about his close friend Ronda Rousey having his back when she blasted the NSAC earlier this month.

"She didn't need to do that. I don't know if she caught heat for it ... I hope she didn't. But Ronda understands how I am. She's like me, only a girl. A prize fighter. She's a great friend."

So, what's Nick's plan moving forward?

"I've been hearing other states' athletic commissions are angry about the ruling, so hopefully I'll be able to fight in those states."

Stay tuned ...

UFC's Nick Diaz State Senator Calls BS On Weed Suspension

Published | Updated

A Nevada state senator is coming out swinging in defense of UFC superstar Nick Diaz -- claiming his 5 year ban for weed is a complete load of crap.

TMZ Sports spoke with Senator Tick Segerblom of Senate District 3 -- which includes parts of Las Vegas -- who says he's not happy with the punishment doled out by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

"I think what they did was totally inappropriate," Tick says ... "[marijuana] is a recognized medicine in the Nevada constitution so how can you punish someone for taking medicine, particularly since it doesn’t enhance your ability to fight?"

He added, "They need to rethink this punishment and then ultimately change their rules."

FYI -- Diaz tested positive for weed after his UFC 183 fight in January.

So far, he's received powerful support from stars like Ronda Rousey and other fighters ... but the NSAC has not budged.

IT'S ALL MEDICINAL

Suspended UFC star Nick Diaz just found his first celeb defender ... and maybe someone to smoke with ... 'cause Katt Williams is coming out strong for weed-blazing athletes saying it's not fair to ban them for toking up.

As we previously reported ... the Nevada Athletic Commission slapped Diaz with a 5-year suspension after he tested positive for pot after UFC 183.

We got Katt out at LAX and he told us the suspension is TOTAL BS ... saying that the hammer should only fall on athletes that enhance performance ... not junk food consumption.

He might have a point ... especially if you've had a couple puffs.

Rooster McConaughey Free Miller Lite ... Less Filling Than You'd Think

Published | Updated

Matthew McConaughey's older brother Rooster just scored a year's supply of Miller Lite for naming his son after the brew ... but it may not last very long.

Rooster is what you'd call a Miller Lite superfan. He's always got a can in his hand, even on his new reality series "West Texas Investors Club." So, it's not outlandish he named his son Miller Lyte.

The folks at Miller Lite caught wind of Rooster's brand loyalty and they're sending him 24 cases ... what they consider a year supply. Here's the thing ... each case of Miller Lite has 24 cans and if you do the math, that's 576 beers ... or 1.5 beers a day.

Something tells us it's more like a seasonal supply for Rooster.

Judge to Lindsay Sorry, But You DID Do Coke

Published | Updated

Lindsay Lohan just went down in flames in spectacular fashion, after a judge threw out her defamation lawsuit against Fox News Channel for claiming she and her mom did cocaine together.

Lindsay and mama Dina sued for comments made on FNC back in February 2014 when a guest said, "Lindsay Lohan's mom is doing cocaine with her." The guest also called Dina an enabler.

The judge in the case on Friday shut Lindsay down, saying, "Truth is a defense."

The judge also dismissed the case Dina filed, saying she's a public figure, the comment wasn't made maliciously. It probably didn't help that Lindsay once made a frantic call to her dad in the back of a limo, saying Dina was there and, "Mom's on cocaine."

One thing ... the judge threw out Lindsay and Dina's lawsuit against FNC and Sean Hannity. As for the guest who made the comment, it's unclear if her case was thrown out as well.

IT'S JUST WHO SHE IS

Jessica Simpson wasn't drunk during her HSN debut and you'd know that if you watched the entire two-hour segment ... which would be more painful than eating glass.

Sources close to Jessica say the clip circulating of her giggling and slurring is just part of her personality that surfaces from time to time. They say for the lion's share of her time on the show, she was lucid and polished.

They say 2 hours without a script creates inevitable less than perfect moments.

An HSN source also says she was not drunk.

Fact is ... HSN is singing her praises, saying Jessica really knows how to drive a sale.

Either way, Scott decided they'd do, but only if they were in their proper place.

Haunted Hollywood Mansion Now a Weed Party Palace

Published | Updated

A Hollywood Hills mansion, abandoned for years and reputed to be haunted, now serves as a pot-lover's paradise after the current resident opened his doors to puffers and passers.

The pad was rented in June for more than $10k/month by a guy named Michael Straumietis, the CEO of Advanced Nutrients. Michael, who goes by Marijuana Don, almost immediately opened his joint, hosting weekly pot parties for people with medical cards.

The parties are crazy ... with a seemingly endless supply of plants, edibles, oils and hash. And fear not -- Michael has the munchie department covered ... with crab legs, breads, meats and cheeses.

The mansion is 9,800 sq. ft. with a six car garage and 200 bottle wine cellar. The property is a thing of mystery to those in LA, with stories of Satanic activity and unearthly beings inhabiting it.

Marijuana Don -- the Dan Bilzerian of the weed world.

UFC's Nick Diaz 5 Year Suspension For Failed Drug Test

Published | Updated

Nick Diaz might never step in the Octagon again -- the UFC fighter just got slapped with a 5 year suspension for failing a drug test.

The Nevada Athletic Commission handed down the suspension, and also a $150k fine. He failed the test -- reportedly for marijuana -- earlier this year after his fight Anderson Silva in UFC 183.

Diaz will be 36 when the suspension ends, which would certainly make it difficult for him to make a comeback.

Diaz's attorney says he will appeal the NAC's decision.

Kim Richards On The Hunt For Xanax At LA Smoke Shops

Published | Updated

Kim Richards is in a desperate state ... so desperate she's going to smoke shops to score Xanax.

We're told Richards went to a smoke shop in Sherman Oaks several times this week, asking for the Rx drug. People in the shop say employees were perplexed because drugs aren't sold there, but Kim insisted a family member claimed she could score the drugs there.

We're told Kim was turned away each of the 3 separate times she showed up. On one occasion, someone in the store watched her leave and then go inside another smoke shop nearby.

As for why Kim was on the hunt for Xanax, she says she needs it because she has a foot injury ... which obviously makes no sense because Xanax is for anxiety.

As we reported, Kim recently left rehab for substance abuse.

Chris Brown A Little Hair, A Little Urine Could Spell Trouble in Custody Case

Published | Updated

Chris Brown won a big victory in custody court Friday, but it could get derailed because of an on-the-spot drug test.

TMZ broke the story, Chris got temporary joint custody of Royalty, where he and baby mama Nia Guzman rotate every 4 days.

Sources close to Nia tell TMZ, something else happened in court. Her lawyer asked the judge to force Chris to submit hair and urine samples for drug tests, and the judge ordered Chris to ante up on the spot.

The judge didn't say what he would do if the tests came back positive for drugs ... it would obviously depend in part what type of drugs, if any, were present in his system.

Our Nia sources also say Chris' custody win had strings attached ... his mom must be present when he has physical custody of his 1-year-old.

We're told in 12 days Chris and Nia must go into mediation to hopefully agree on a long-term custody and support agreement. If they can't, the 4-day rotation will continue and a full-blown trial will be scheduled.
