Priscilla Chan's Dress Store NO ONE Is Buying that Wedding Gown

Published | Updated

Mark Zuckerberg's freshly-minted wife, Priscilla Chan, evokes a lot of interest but not much action ... according to the shop where she bought her wedding dress.

Cate Malone, the owner of the Little White Dress shop in Denver, CO, tells us the store has been buzzing with curious customers who have been trying on the $4,700 Claire Pettibone gown Priscilla wore at her surprise wedding.

In fact ... traffic on the shop's website has gone up a whopping 680% since the nuptials.

But here's the bottom line -- it's a big fat zero, because no one has bought the dress.

Business has been bad all around this week in the world of Facebook.

Priscilla Chan GENIUS Even Before Marrying Mark Zuckerberg

Published | Updated

Priscilla Chan is no dummy ... in fact, Mrs. Zuckerberg was voted "Class Genius" back in high school ... way before she decided to hook up with a guy who would change the world.

Chan -- now 27 years old -- received the title during her days at Quincy High School in Massachusetts back in 2003. Priscilla went on to Harvard, where she met Mark and the rest is, as they say ... on her Facebook timeline.

The lesson here: Stay in school, study hard and you too may land a billionaire.

Mark Zuckerberg's Wife The SIMPLE Ruby Wedding Ring

Published | Updated

If Mark Zuckerberg's new wife was expecting a MASSIVE diamond on her wedding ring ... she was SORELY disappointed.

Just days after the surprise wedding of the century, Priscilla Chan-Zuckerberg took her brand new ruby rock on the road ... flashing her piece during a lunch date with a friend in Palo Alto, CA yesterday.

According to reports, the $20 BILLION Facebook honcho -- who has a reputation for not caring about excessive displays of wealth -- designed the ring himself.

It's unclear how much the ring cost ... hopefully not much ... 'cause his Facebook stock has been sinking like Natalie Wood ever since it debuted on Friday.

So, we gotta ask ...

Mark Zuckerberg He Did NOT Pull a Fast One On His Bride

Published | Updated

There's talk that Mark Zuckerberg timed his wedding to cut his new wife out of the $20 billion he raked in Friday, when Facebook went public, but it's simply not the case.

As you know, Mark married Priscilla Chan the day after his portfolio ballooned. But here's the deal ... Under California law, if one person grows a business before marriage and sells it right at the time he or she gets hitched, the new spouse has no legal claim to the proceeds of the sale.

Disso Queen Laura Wasser, who reps almost every celeb in the throes of divorce including Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Maria Shriver, tells TMZ it's pretty simple: "Facebook is a separate property asset of Mr. Zuckerberg. It's like a painter who paints a painting prior to marriage and sells it shortly after marriage. Any proceeds from the sale of the painting are the artist's separate property."

Now, if Facebook continues to increase in value during their marriage, Priscilla would have a 50% interest in proceeds from the growth. But if today is any indication ... Priscilla shouldn't hold her breath -- the stock plummeted 10% today.

BTW, we don't know if Mark got Priscilla to sign a prenup.

Mark Zuckerberg Facebook Stock PLUMMETS

Published | Updated

Tough morning for The Zuck -- after a lackluster debut ... Facebook stock is sinking like a stone this morning ... down more than 11% from its opening price.

As of 7:32 AM PDT ... FB had fallen to $33.97 per share ... down $4.26 from its closing price on Friday.

According to MSN.com, the stock was down as much as 14% earlier in the morning.

FYI -- Facebook debuted at $38-per-share ... and many hoped it would explode. It didn't.

Of course, we're still a long way from the closing bell ... and a lot could happen -- good or bad.

Stay tuned ...

Mark Zuckerberg Wedding Michael Jackson Music in Heavy Rotation

Published | Updated

Mark Zuckerberg might have more money than the average man, but he has the same musical tastes as everyone else -- because TMZ has learned his wedding was bumping some serious Michael Jackson tracks all night long.

A neighbor of the Facebook CEO tells TMZ ... they could hear the music coming from the wedding the entire time (as evidenced by our video where you can hear Billie Joe Armstrong singing from the street).

The neighbor tells TMZ there was plenty of upbeat music all night -- including Flo Rida, Bon Jovi and Janet Jackson. But the overwhelming favorite was the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.

Status update: everyone loves MJ.

Mark Zuckerberg The $20 Billion Smile

Published | Updated

So this what it looks like to make $20 BILLION in one day.

28-year-old Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg surfaced moments ago outside his home in Palo Alto, CA -- just hours after his Facebook IPO earned him an extra $20 billion -- and he looked happier (and richer) than ever.

But everyone else wasn't so lucky -- Facebook's stock was originally priced at $38 and finished the day at $38.23 ... not bad, but not great either.

To put it in perspective, Google's stock was priced at $85 during its IPO in 2004, and finished its first day at $100.34.

Bono Facebook WON'T Make Me World's Richest Rocker

Published | Updated

Looks like Paul McCartney's title as world's richest entertainer is safe ... 'cause Bono says his stake in Facebook will NOT push him into the number one spot.

Bono was in D.C. this morning to attend a fundraiser for President Obama ... when a Washington Times photog asked about reports that the U2 frontman's $90 million investment into Mark Zuckerberg's social network will be worth $1.5 billion by the end of the day ... making him the richest rocker on Earth.

FYI -- It's been widely reported that Bono's investment company, Elevation Partners, bought up 2.3% of the company in 2009.

But Bono didn't appear too stoked about it ... in fact, he cast doubt on the entire story.

That ... or maybe he's just trying to be modest.

The video first appeared on The Washington Times.

Facebook The Richest Breakfast In the World

Published | Updated

Here's hoping you enjoyed your soggy-ass cereal this morning -- because the people over at Facebook are celebrating their big IPO day ... by dining on cran-orange scones, coconut mango smoothies, and sausage hash.

It's all being offered at one of the cafes located at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, CA -- where FB staffers dine for free -- and the complimentary menu is claw-your-own-eyes-out delicious.

Here's a full breakdown:

Strawberry banana soy smoothies, coconut mango smoothies, whole wheat cranberry orange scones, sausage and biscuit hash with cream gravy, whole wheat choco-chip pancakes with vanilla whipped cream, whole wheat low fat flax waffles, and old-fashioned buttermilk pancakes.

Most of you have already killed yourselves by now, so we'll stop there.

Being rich is so much better than being not rich.

Bono Will Become Richest Rock Star on Planet by 4PM

Published | Updated

Bono will no longer breathe Paul McCartney's fumes in the money department ... by the close of trading today, he will become the richest rocker in the world, courtesy of Mark Zuckerberg and company.

Bono owns 2.3 percent of Facebook shares, through his investment group, Elevation Partners. The investment will be worth an estimated $1.5 billion by 4 PM ET -- not bad for a $90 million investment back in 2009.

McCartney's fortune is estimated at just a skosh over $1 billion, so Bono will be leaving the surviving Beatle in the dust.

If you're Bono, it truly is a beautiful day ... if you're into money.

The Winklevoss Twins LOSE AGAIN Must Pay Lawyers $13 MIL!

Published | Updated

The legal losing streak continues for Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss ... who've been ordered to pay their former lawyers $13 MILLION in fees after losing yet another appeal in their neverending Facebook saga.

The Winklevii have been at war with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan -- the firm that represented them in the case portrayed in "The Social Network." The boys claim the firm committed malpractice by leaking information about their $65 million settlement with Mark Zuckerberg ... and they shouldn't have to pay them a single cent.

But an arbitration panel ruled against the twins ... so they took the case all the way up to a New York appeals court ... which just dished out some more bad news for the Winks ... they lost

Now, the Winklevii have no choice but to pay the fee ... or else the firm can take steps towards seizing their assets.

Rebecca Black I'm Not a Singer I'm a BIKINI Model

Published | Updated

There is a MAJOR Rebecca Black crisis on Facebook -- with allegations of deception, identity theft ... and most importantly a smoking hot bikini model ... who happens to be named Rebecca Black.

Turns out, there's more than one person on Earth named Rebecca Black -- one of whom is a self-described, "fitness bikini competitor." And she has the photos to prove it.

Black (bikini) tells TMZ ... sometime in the past week, her friend list on Facebook exploded from 800 friends to 73,000 ... and she had no idea how it happened. Black started getting emails from upset fans of the singer -- accusing her of intentionally hijacking the 14-year-old's page ... but Black (bikini) claims she never tried to steal anyone's identity.

Black (bikini) insists Facebook is to blame for somehow "merging" her account with Black's (singer) without her permission.

We called Facebook for comment -- so far no word back.

Still, there is a silver lining here ... check out the AWESOME bikini pics -- Fun. Fun. Fun. Fun. Fun.

Timberlake: Forget Facebook, I'm Backing MySpace!

Published | Updated

At least one person still believes in MySpace -- because Justin Timberlake just purchased a considerable stake in the sinking ship.

Timberlake has not revealed how much he's invested in the company -- which News Corp. sold off today for somewhere between $30-40 million.

According to the official announcement, Justin -- who starred in "The Social Network" -- will "play a major role in developing the creative direction and strategy for [MySpace] moving forward."

JT released his own statement -- saying, "There’s a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect ... MySpace has the potential to be that place."

Has ... had ... what's the difference?
