Rolly Romero's making it clear it's totally fine for men to cry ... and he tells TMZ Sports anyone who's making fun of Ryan Garcia for his emotional outburst after their fight last week can go pound sand.

The star boxer -- who upset Garcia in Times Square on May 2 -- passionately defended his opponent while out in L.A. on Wednesday ... explaining he, too, had a big cry following their tilt.

"It's OK for men to cry, bruh," Romero said ... adding, "It just shows we're human."

Rolly Romero's next fight almost certainly won't be against Devin Haney ... the boxing superstar just ripped his rival during a chat with TMZ Sports -- calling him "shattered" and "a track star."

After triumphantly beating Ryan Garcia in Times Square last week, Romero said Tuesday he's on the hunt for a "big name" for his next bout ... but, he made it clear it likely won't be Haney.

Romero implied the 26-year-old -- who won a controversial tilt against José Ramírez minutes before his Garcia showdown in NYC -- is just too boring to attract mass amounts of Pay-Per-View buys.

A Pittsburgh Pirates game day employee has been suspended by the team ... after he was seen on video getting involved in an absolutely insane fistfight with a fan at PNC Park.

The violent scrum happened on Sunday -- as the Buccos were taking on the Padres.

According to CBS, the altercation went down after a Pirates employee -- who was wearing a white polo and tan pants -- tried to pull two men away from a tiff they had been having with a nearby concession worker.

A top primatologist is trying to bring some reason into the hundred men vs one gorilla debate ... explaining the main reason why a fight like this wouldn't go down -- and arguing this paints these beautiful creatures in a bad light.

We spoke with Michael Stern -- a Harvard-trained primatologist with decades of experience studying gorillas both in captivity and in the wild in Uganda -- and, he tells us the main reason this debate is so silly is because one gorilla would look around, see it was outnumbered and take off.

Stern says this is the equivalent of asking if a unicorn could take down a dinosaur -- or if a shark with a laser beam could blow up a submarine!

It seems this all started with an argument, and things get really heated when one woman knocks a cowboy hat off another woman's head ... leading to a bunch of pushing, shoving, falling and cowboy-boot kicking.

Puka Nacua's brother, Samson Nacua, has more than just the UFL investigation to worry about after he slapped a fan at Saturday's game -- St. Louis Police tell TMZ Sports they are currently looking into the matter.

A spokesperson says the department is aware of the video from the St. Louis Battlehawks game on Saturday ... which shows Samson, who plays for the Michigan Panthers, slapping a fan at The Dome at America's Center.

"We are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident and we are working to obtain video from The Dome at America's Center that may have captured what led up to the encounter," the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said.

A Florida man ended up behind bars last weekend after he was busted for allegedly roughing up an 11-year-old girl who he thought pelted his home with eggs.

The crazy incident occurred Saturday afternoon at a Tampa, FL, apartment complex and was partly captured on dramatic video recorded by a witness.

Check it out ... the suspect, Marius Mutu, is seen pinning the girl to the ground outside the building as she screams and cries for help. The girl swears to god she didn't do anything wrong, but her words fall on deaf ears. Mutu won't let her go.

George Clooney says he and his wife Amal Clooney are looking for something to fight over ... and if they do, it will be a first.

The actor made the dubious claim in a recent interview with Gayle King on "CBS Mornings."

But alas, we get performative outrage, keyboard crusades, and a woman who clings to victimhood like it’s the last microphone on Fox News."

Congresswoman Nancy Mace isn’t backing down -- in fact, she’s doubling down on an argument that went viral this weekend, even as the internet’s still split on who really started the drama.

Mace kicked off the week swinging, posting on X -- "Good morning to everyone except men who wear daisy dukes" -- a clear jab at the guy she clashed with in that viral clip, who she flamed not just for his tiny short-shorts, but for browsing in a makeup store too.

Nancy seemed to be on a bit of a press tour, hyping up her upcoming 77 WABC radio interview on X -- teasing she'd be talking "daisy dukes and lunatics who get in the faces of conservatives." She posted on her personal account, not her official one. Should be noted ... the man in question was not wearing denim cut-offs, just saying.

John Cena just became the first 17-time champion in WWE history after beating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 ... but he didn't do it alone -- he got a bit of an assist from Travis Scott in the process.

The main event just went down at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas ... with Cena and Rhodes brutalizing each other as the former looked to surpass Ric Flair as the most decorated wrestler in the organization.

Mid-match, La Flame showed up and made a lengthy walk to the ring to help his buddy, Cena ... and played a crucial role by going after the ref when Rhodes tried to secure the win.

Looks like NBA player DeMar DeRozan got more than he ordered at a sushi place Friday night ... 'cause we have video of him getting into a heated altercation.

Check it out -- he's clearly PO'd as he gets physical with another male who's lying on the ground with his legs sticking straight up in the air. The fight looks pretty serious ... the Sacramento Kings small forward is going after the man, but is held off by another person in a suit.

Once the other party is back on his feet, he demands his phone be handed over, which seems to infuriate DeMar ... who lunges at him.

John Rocker's still pissed he's not fighting Patrick Mahomes Sr. this month, and he's taking his anger out on those who he believes scuttled the bout -- Patrick Mahomes II ... and the Kansas City quarterback's "loser wife."

Rocker, of course, was supposed to step in the ring with the elder Mahomes later Friday as part of Dave Portnoy's "Rough N Rowdy" promotion ... but back in late February, the Barstool Sports honcho announced the scrap was off.

Portnoy stated on an episode of "The Unnamed Show" that he believed Mahomes II and his longtime partner, Brittany, torpedoed things ... and on his X page Friday, Rocker made it clear he thought the same.

A night out at the golf course ended up looking more like an MMA fight for a pair of Canadians on Monday.

Check out some video from Two Eagles Golf Course & Academy in West Kelowna, BC ... you can see two groups appeared to get into a quarrel over pace of play -- before things turned violent.

Based on some of the commentary in the footage, one of the groups seemed upset that the other was being impatient with how long their swings were taking ... and confronted them on a tee box.
