Josh Allen has made his way to California ahead of his big wedding day ... touching down at the airport with his golf clubs in hand before tying the knot with Hailee Steinfeld.

Fresh off participating in voluntary practices with his teammates, the Buffalo Bills superstar popped up at the Van Nuys Airport on Wednesday ... and he looked like he's got a trip to the golf course on the itinerary before meeting his future wife at the altar.

While deets have been kept under wraps for the most part, Allen's left tackle, Dion Dawkins spilled the beans on the date back in March ... telling NFL Network his QB and the award-winning actress would exchange vows this upcoming Saturday.

The city of Indianapolis is still reeling from the shocking death of Colts owner Jim Irsay ... and that includes legendary wide receiver Reggie Wayne -- who broke down in tears while reflecting on his boss/friend during a press conference.

Wayne -- who currently serves as the team's wide receivers coach -- met with the media amid voluntary practices ... and he was asked what he wants his current group of players to know about Irsay.

Baylor Bears defensive lineman Alex Foster has died at 18 years old, the university announced Wednesday.

The school did not reveal the teen's cause of death ... but head football coach Dave Aranda and athletic director Mack Rhoades said in a joint statement the passing was "unexpected."

Multiple outlets reported Foster died from gunshot wounds he sustained during an incident in Greenville, Mississippi early Wednesday morning.

Julian Fleming, a former Penn State wide receiver, is in serious condition and his girlfriend is dead following a horrific ATV crash in Pennsylvania ahead of the weekend.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident occurred on Friday when 24-year-old Fleming was driving his ATV on a rural road when a deer jumped out in front of him, causing a collision. The impact sent Fleming and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, flying off the ATV.

Police say neither was wearing safety equipment while riding on the four-wheeler. Boyd was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Fleming was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Tributes have been pouring in following the shocking death of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay ... with plenty of former players, coaches and loved ones taking time to remember the 65-year-old -- including the team's Super Bowl-winning quarterback, Peyton Manning.

The 49-year-old took to his Instagram to speak on Irsay's passing ... calling him an "incredibly generous and passionate owner, and I will always be indebted to him for giving me my start in the NFL."
