Travis Kelce isn't exactly lighting up the celebrity golf tournament in Nevada on the green ... but, he's pretty lit himself -- pounding beers with his pals.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is up in the Lake Tahoe area this weekend to play in the American Century Championship ... and, he played with a couple fellow NFLers, including his big bro, Jason.

We got video of Killa Trav taking a hack at a ball off the tee early in the day ... and, while many are excited to see him get up there, those cheers quickly turn into groans after he clearly hits a less than stellar shot.

Taylor Swift lit up the stage during a surprise performance at Tight End University last month ... and this week her man is doing the same at the American Century Championship golf event -- as Travis and Jason Kelce belted out some karaoke during the annual celeb shindig!

Videos of the brothers began making the rounds out in Tahoe, with the Kelce's doing their rendition of Bob Seger's  "Old Time Rock and Roll."

Judging by the performance, it seems the two had been working on the set, as they even integrated a little choreography into the show, including a bit of line dancing and air guitar action.

Ex-NHL enforcer Nick Tarnasky's current employer tells TMZ Sports it is investigating his role in that wild Fourth of July golf fight.

Red Deer Minor Hockey -- where Tarnasky coaches a U17 squad -- said in a statement to us on Tuesday it has seen the video of the 40-year-old former Florida Panther throwing a man into a golf course's pond ... and it is looking into the siutation.

"At this time," the org. told us, "given that we understand the matter is being reviewed by local policing authorities and we are conducting our own internal investigation into the alleged incident, we will have no further comments."

Police in Canada tell TMZ Sports ... the fight took place on July 4 at around 5:47 PM at Alberta Springs Golf Course in Red Deer.

Officers did respond to the scene after they received reports of an intoxicated person who had been instigating fights -- but cops said by the time they arrived, the suspect had left.

No arrests were made, and there's no further investigation into the matter, authorities said.

A golfer was thrown into a pond and then beaten in the face by a flurry of punches during a dispute on the course ... and the wild altercation was captured on video.

The U.S. Open is going down this weekend at the Oakmont Country Club, and even though there will only be one winner, all these golfers will still go home with something special -- their stunning wives/girlfriends!!
