Another photo captures Bieber standing next to Benjamin, who is puffing on a cigarette, as the other guy sits on a couch. 4:36 PM PT -- Fareed has clarified Mike's medical issue ... explaining Tirico has a nut allergy and suffered a reaction due to it earlier today. He adds Mike is now doing recovering.

Mike Tirico was forced to step away from NBC's Kentucky Derby broadcast coverage after coming down with a mystery illness.

The veteran sports anchor left viewers of the broadcast shocked and concerned on Saturday afternoon when the anchor appeared to have low energy during the pre-Derby show -- which some fans online pointed out after his removal.

Tirico was on the air earlier in the day and seemed okay while anchoring coverage from Churchill Downs. We should note the weather in Louisville is currently cold and rainy.

The fan who tragically fell from an outfield wall at PNC Park on Wednesday has been identified as Kavan Markwood -- a 20-year-old former college football player.

A spokesperson for the South Allegheny School District -- where Markwood played his high school football -- confirmed to TribLive on Thursday it's Markwood who's currently fighting for his life at a Pittsburgh-area hospital after he tumbled to the warning track during the Pirates vs. Cubs game.

"Everyone at South Allegheny would say he is a hard-working, highly resilient young man," the district rep, Laura Thomson, said. "He’s a fighter. He's going to need that resiliency now."

Kanye West is gearing up to sue his former dentist ... claiming he suffered injuries and financial damages due to alleged reckless administration of nitrous oxide.

The rapper's legal team -- headed by Andrew Cherkasky -- sent a notice of intention to sue to Dr. Thomas P. Connelly, who they say became Ye's dentist in early 2024.

Ye's team claims that while he was under Connelly's care, the dentist "engaged in numerous inappropriate and dangerous practices that were far outside the bounds of any legitimate medical purpose or standard of care."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is at it again -- and this time, he's coming for the stuff in your tap water, claiming fluoride is basically brain poison ... especially for kids.

During a White House Cabinet meeting Wednesday, RFK Jr. went off the deep end -- proclaiming he and his team are pushing to change federal regulations over fluoride in drinking water ... because, according to him, the science apparently shows a link between fluoride exposure and low IQ in kids.

In the Health and Human Services Secretary's own words about fluoride today ... "The more you get, the stupider you are" -- adding that America needs smart kids, not ones being dumbed down by their drinking water.

Cops have opened an investigation into the golf cart accident that's left John Elway's longtime friend, Jeff Sperbeck, fighting for his life, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office tells us ... it's started to probe the matter -- which occurred on Saturday evening in La Quinta, Calif. -- but right now, everything is "purely informational."

We're told investigators are in the process of gathering info ... and conducting interviews with witnesses. Ultimately, cops say the goal is to determine if a criminal act occurred.

Alijah Arenas is out of the hospital just days after his serious Cybertruck crash ... and while it's fantastic news, the family says he is at the beginning of his recovery process.

TMZ Sports has obtained a statement from the Arenas and Govan families ... which states the 18-year-old USC commit is "now resting comfortably under close watch."

"While his journey to full recovery is just beginning, his spirit remains strong, and he is surrounded by love and support," the family said Wednesday.

4/29 5:40 PM PT -- We've now confirmed Elway was indeed behind the wheel of the golf cart.

NFL legend John Elway was right in the middle of the golf cart accident that left his longtime friend on life support, and he might have been driving ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Law enforcement and other sources tell us Elway was on the golf cart Saturday evening in La Quinta, California when Jeff Sperbeck -- John's business partner and former agent -- fell off the back of the moving vehicle, rolled and hit his head on asphalt ... suffering a traumatic injury.

John, Jeff and their wives had been at the Stagecoach music festival earlier in the day in nearby Indio, and were leaving a post-party when the accident happened.

Mike Peters -- the lead singer of the rock band The Alarm -- has died ... according to the BBC.

It's not immediately clear when or how Peters died ... though it's worth noting the Welsh rocker fought cancer on and off for three decades leading up to his death.

Peters was best known for cofounding The Alarm, though the initial punk-rock iteration of the group went by the name The Toilets and started performing in 1977.
