Ryan Sheckler -- a world-class skateboarder who has also ventured into reality TV -- had nearly $100k worth of jewelry stolen from his Las Vegas hotel room while he was snoozing, and the woman he planned on spending the night with has been arrested.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, on February 27, Ryan was staying at the Palms Hotel and at 3:45 AM he took Stacy Salazar back to his room -- a woman he says he's known for 4 years.

Ryan claims he fell asleep but was awakened by the sound of his door closing. He then noticed Stacy was no longer in his room. A few hours later he noticed his jewelry was missing -- a Rolex watch valued at $12,500, a gold/diamond bracelet worth $14,975, a diamond and white gold ring ($63,275) and a diamond necklace of unknown value.

Ryan called the cops, who took a report.

The security camera shows Ryan and Stacy taking the elevator up to the room, and cops observed the Rolex on Ryan's wrist.

As for Stacy, the security camera shows her leaving Ryan's room at 5:05 AM. According to the police report, "As she is walking she is fumbling with her purse that she carries over her shoulder." She got to the elevator, wedged the door open at the last minute, got out, went to Ryan's room where they spoke at the door for one minute, and then she left.

The cracked out Las Vegas District Attorney who prosecuted Bruno Mars and Paris Hilton for cocaine just got 9 months in jail and a public ASS-CHEWING from the judge in his own drug case.

Former Deputy District Attorney David Schubert struck a plea deal with prosecutors after cops say they found $40 worth of crack cocaine and an unregistered pistol in his car last March.

As Schubert hung his head in shame, the judge dished out the 9 month jail sentence ... and then trashed him as a "disgrace to his oath as a prosecutor and a lawyer."

Ironically, neither Hilton nor Mars got one single day in jail in their Vegas cocaine cases.

In his never-ending quest to avoid a real job, former "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka has signed a deal to become the next piece of man candy at Chippendales.

Jake will begin his stint at the Rio in Las Vegas on Feb. 23 and will serve as the celebrity MC ... just like former 98 Degrees singer Jeff Timmons and "Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Magro.

Talk about having a death wish -- TMZ has learned, some dumbass broke into Mike Tyson's Vegas hotel room this weekend while the ex-boxing champ was sleeping ... but lucky for the intruder, dude escaped before Tyson could break his face in.

Sources tell TMZ, Mike was staying at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Saturday night -- where he and his fam crashed after attending Stevie Wonder's New Year's Eve concert.

We're told Tyson was sleeping like a baby ... when all of a sudden, he awoke to rustling sounds and saw a flashlight. But by the time Iron Mike realized what was happening, the intruder had already run out of the room.

According to sources, security at the hotel was called and they are currently investigating the situation. Nothing was reported stolen from the room.

A rep for the hotel tells TMZ, "We have received a report of an incident that is currently under investigation. As always, guest safety is of the utmost importance."

Sofia Vergara began 2012 by rushing to the aid of a young woman who collapsed on the floor of a Las Vegas casino ... TMZ has learned.

The "Modern Family" star was leaving Hyde nightclub at the Bellagio around 3 AM on New Year's Day ... when Sofia saw a woman hit the deck.

Sources at the scene tell us ... Sofia and a girlfriend rushed over to the woman to help. We're told Sofia's friend had medical training and was seen checking the woman's pulse.

Both Sofia and her friend tried to keep the woman calm ... and waited by her side until security personnel and paramedics arrived to the scene. We're told the woman was eventually transported to a nearby hospital.

Kim Kardashian seems to be getting over her failed, very short marriage ... at least for an evening. She closed out 2011 by hosting a New Year's Eve party at TAO nightclub in Las Vegas last night.

There are reports that Kim, who arrived in Vegas via private jet, raked in $60,000 for the gig.
