We obtained the mug shot the confessed butcher snapped after getting sentenced to life in prison ... and he's mostly expressionless and clean-shaven, staring into the camera with his pale skin and blue eyes.

Kohberger's latest booking photo looks a lot like his previous ones ...  minus some facial hair  ... and they're all kinda creepy.

Bryan Kohberger totally freaked out one of his Tinder matches when he asked her about death during one of their conversations, police say.

The convicted murderer asked the unidentified woman what the worst way to die is ... after she shared her friend had been murdered in her town years earlier, according to freshly released Moscow, Idaho police documents from the BK investigation.

Kohberger was quite intrigued by the woman's response that a knife would be an awful way to die, and he went on to ask if she was referring to something "like a KA-BAR?"

Among the hundreds of documents released by police after Kohberger was sentenced to life in prison -- obtained by TMZ -- one details a conversation between a Moscow, Idaho police officer and an unnamed inmate at Latah County Jail in September 2024.

Moscow Police documents just released say the November 2022 killings were even more savage than initially reported -- describing Goncalves' injuries as so severe her face was left unrecognizable. The responding police officer noted the disfigurement in his report, while others called the crime scene a bloodbath.

On the floor below, Kohberger clashed with Kernodle after she either saw or heard him kill her roommates upstairs. The police sergeant wrote that "an intense struggle" clearly took place, and Kernodle had deep defensive wounds between her fingers -- evidence she fought for her life.

Emily Alandt stood at a podium during Kohberger's sentencing hearing and read the statement from her friend Bethany Funke -- who was inside the murder house that fateful night in 2020, but survived along with Dylan Mortensen. As you know, Kohberger butchered to death Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves.

Alandt told a rapt courtroom audience and Kohberger himself that Funke slept in her parents' room for nearly a year with double locks on every door in their home.

The commander-in-chief took to his Truth Social platform Monday and fired off one of his usual not-so-subtle messages, kicking things off by describing the murdered students as "wonderful young souls."

Trump then pointed out Kohberger cut a plea deal that spared him the death penalty ... noting that the butcher will spend the rest of his days doing hard time behind bars.

Here's the deal ... on Thursday Judge Steven Hippler lifted the gag order -- allowing prosecutors to talk to media about the case -- but refused to release case docs, including evidence critical to the case. He may do that in the future.

Bryan Kohberger appeared in court to make his controversial plea deal legal in the eyes of the law ... admitting guilt to four murders -- and, the judge has signed off on the plea.

The judge began proceedings Wednesday by asking for people in the courtroom not to be disruptive ... and, he chastised the public for calling his office to dispute the plea deal. He said he hasn't read or listened to any of the messages left at his office.

Kohberger stood up in the courtroom and was sworn in by the clerk, and said "yes" when asked if he's pleading guilty because he's actually guilty and not just to avoid the death penalty.
